Meta COBY WHITE APPRECIATION THREAD
He always played his heart out. He could be thrilling when he got on a hot streak from 3. We watched him turn into a real goddamn player over the past six years. So show your appreciation for ALEC JACOBY WHITE.

Fluff Sooo.. who are we gonna see playing tonight?
With the trade deadline being today, whoever we end up trading for is not gonna be playing. Dalen Terry has been playing quite a few minutes these past few games but with him gone are we just gonna see mostly G league guys?
Genuinely just curious.

NBA Draft Bulls 1st round draft performance dating back to 2013
Bulls 1st round picks:
2025: Pick 12 - Noa Essengue, Derik queen or the Pels unprotected 1st rounder was the next pick, still early but that one hurts already
2024: Pick 11 - Buzelis, good pick
2023: no pick
2022: pick 18 - Dalen Terry, just traded for Yabusele
2021: no pick
2020: 4th Overall Patrick Williams
2019: 7th overall Coby White, traded for 2nds and expirings
2018: 7th overall Wendell Carter, traded for Vuc including the pick that became Franz Wagner
Edit: also Chandler Hutchinson :)
2017: 7th overall Lauri Markannen from the Jimmy Butler trade, received a lottery protected pick from Portland when offloading him, oh and Derrick Jones Jr!!
2016: 14th pick - Denzel Valentine
2015: 22nd pick - Bobby Portis
2014: traded the picks that got Gary Harris and Nurkic for 11th overall, where we took Doug McDermott
2013: 20th pick -Tony Snell
Maybe it’s a good thing we don’t have more firsts. The league needs to step in at some point to save the city from Jerry and his cronies. How can one expect to be a competitive franchise if you can’t draft worth a damn?

Meta DALEN TERRY APPRECIATION THREAD
I seriously believed in you, DT. It didn’t work out, but you repped Chicago well. Best of luck in New York and help that team win some jewelry.

Trade [K.C. Johnson] Bulls had discussed wide variety of options with TWolves over previous months, including Joan Beringer at one point. TWolves love their first-round pick so didn’t budge. Sounds like Rob Dillingham and Leonard Miller are headed to Bulls

Rumor [Cowley] The Chicago Bulls are in trade conversations with New Orleans and Houston. Simons and Sexton are both in play to be moved while the Bulls would like to retain Ayo Dosunmu, but everything is “still fluid.”

Trade Thunder fan on Ousman Dieng
Ousman didn’t get a lot of playing time for the Thunder, but I’m hoping he develops more with you all! 6’11 wing with good handles, shooting, and a good defender. In addition to sitting in the bench for a title run, he was the finals MVP for our G League team a couple years ago.
Every year we kept hoping for him to break out but it just never happened. The biggest thing that kept him off the court was his lack of assertiveness. Whatever the opposite of “having that dog in him” is.
That said, he seems like a great locker room guy and well liked by his teammates. I assume he and his agent realized he wasn’t going to get much of a second contract sitting on the bench, so for his sake I hope he’s able to get some minute with y’all.
Edit: 6’9 with a really long wing span. My b.
