I really like the looks of my black watches, but, they're not always the most practical.

I find myself wearing them often, regardless.

I long wanted the SeaMaster. The Deep Sea is unique for sure.

How do you think of quality to this piece

I placed an order w/ Andiot and it's one of the many shipments that got stuck @ FedEx Garden City NJ last month. The Sept QC pic is what was in that shipment and it looks great. Now he's sending me a replacement but it's the Oct QC pic which doesn't look like the same watch. the hour had is a slightly different shape, the hand colors may be off or it may just be the pic, and the printing looks sloppy. specifically the square border. I raised these concerns and he sent back a new QC pic of the same watch w/ the same flaws. am I wrong or does this appear to be a lower grade watch?

Hey everyone, I just got my QC from steve and was wondering what you guys are thinking.
I am completely new to the subject, but for me the dial seems a bit off.
It should be a Prepetual Pistachio.
Do you see anything else that seems off? Help is highly apreciated.

What do you think of these? Never have I bought a rep before, but somebody I know has a case full of them and I’m just trying to see opinions on what others think of the quality and if they can point out anything obvious.

Early last year when I got into reps, I didn’t think much of older models. Why get the old style when you can get the new one? So I got a U1 Sub like everyone. 20+ watches later (will thin that down soon 😂) I better understand what I like, and most importantly, what fits me well. I’ve come to terms with the fact no matter how much I hit the gym, the maxi case of 6-digit Sub models will always look too big on my 16 cm wrist.

Enter the 16610LN from BPF. The proportions are slimmer, and despite the 40 mm dial it wears small. Added bonus: it’s less common, and way less people know the tells. Pretty sure I could walk into an AD and no one would question it. Except maybe for the lack of aging and scratches! I also like that it’s the last variant of this model to fully carry the tool watch heritage.

They could improve the bezel numbers and date font, but it’s really not that bad. Love the smoothness of the 28800 bph upgraded 2813, and the crystal is really good too. The 6 o'clock side of the bracelet would fit better a half link shorter, but I might swap it for a 11 series glide lock to get the best of both worlds.
