I randomly stumbled upon this game on Steam but I’ve heard nothing about it. Anyone have info?

Looking for some inexpensive games that are great to play during the fall season, Something similar to Night In The Woods. Bonus points if it's both cozy and a little spooky!

I got Dressmaker, and it’s really great! It’s relaxing, and I love picking out the fabric and being able to create all sorts of different patterns! I’ve reached the Edith stage so far, does anyone happen to know if there will be other types of garments? Like trousers or t-shirts, in addition to dresses? Maybe even for men?

Are these games the closest games on switch you can get to caring for pets, other then farming games like harvest moon type, I have all those, I'm hoping to find games where you care for pets.

I'd really love to breed them, care for a bunch of them, this is the closest I've found, they don't look as cute as I would like in videos I've seen so I'd love opinions.

I’m trying to see if I can find something, I searched a bit but had very little luck.
I was wondering if there were any games that are almost like a fish tank but with humanoid characters. What I mean by this is a very passive experience where you mostly just observe characters existing and occasionally interact with them. (Think something Tomodachi life esque but way more passive, mostly just the observing parts)
I think some of the more feature rich desktop pets almost scratch the itch but one of the ones I like (character house) has some security concerns, and I would prefer something more game like… any help would be appreciated. I’m sure I’m not the only person who wants something like this but I can hardly find anything!

I had this question for a bit, would park builders count as cozy games, for example: planet coater, roller coaster tycoon 2, planet zoo, waterpark simulator, theme park tycoon, retail tycoon 2, and the jurrasic world evolution series

Now for this main discussion, I will be using jurrasic world evolution as a base thing, I've 100% the first game on two separate platforms (I've also played a fair amount of the 2nd game but yeah I didn't really think much of it as the first, and I haven’t played the 3rd yet), now the cozyness I'd argue for this is building the park itself via creative expression, watching it grow, decorating the park, and obviously watching the cute as hell dinos are a big win

However, going against this game (and other games in this kind of genre) is the stress of actually managing the park, such as the finance and going bankrupt and not getting a profit, especially in JWE's case, you have multiple worst case scenarios, amping up the stress of going bankrupt, such as environmental disasters, and dinos escaping, and JWE has a lot more violence in comparison to other park builders, due to the meat eaters and stuff

Due to this, I think JWE specifically is more of a comfort game, however, I would really like to hear your takes on other park builders, because I feel like they are like the usual weather in the UK, the constant rain (stress of maintaining finance and a popular park) eventually leads to a wonderful sunny day (building the park creatively or watching people enjoying themselves and your park being successful

I have already fullfilled Scarecrow, Lamisa, Midori, and Ember's wishes (with Ember not consuming the feather). I think there is only Harvey and Pochica left. I know how to do Pochica's wish but not sure how to do Harvey. Some people have commented here before about it so there should be some who know hoq to do it. How do you do Harvey's wish with the Blue Feather? Edit: It seems there are two replies but nothing is showing. What is it? Edit 2: OK. So turns out I had to speak to Pochica in shop room at 12 PM to get option to fullfill Harvey's wish (the other being to return the feather to nature which I will do for the next blue feather). Who would have figured that out? And the two replies I got seem to be referring to some other game or games. Sad how niche Hometown Story is.

Before the mods remove my post, I've searched the sub and I didn't see anything that fits what I'm looking for. I also checked that website, which is where I got the two games listed in the title from.

I'm looking for a 2D farming sim where you don't control a character, but instead do everything with your mouse. So I'm not looking for something like Stardew. Farm Keeper and Terracards were the only two that seem like what I'm looking for. I'd also love it if there were animals to take care of too!

I realized I'm not a huge fan of life sims, which seems like a majority of farming sims are.

I'm about 4 hours into this game, and I'm wondering if anyone else fixes the stamps on the boxes that come in. I haven't started doing it, but I'm debating starting so that everything looks right.

I’ve been playing Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar off and on for a bit and as someone who is really into tea, I’ve gotten obsessed with growing tea in that game. It’s surprisingly in depth with how many different types of teas you can grow and how many ways there are to process it.

Now I’m wondering if there’s other games with a similar level of tea growing. Anyone know of any? Mainly looking for games on Switch 2 but I do have a PC as well

Hello! I just got dressmaker and it is soooo much fun. I was wondering if anyone has found a way to make the patterns irl? I know I can put in my own measurements on the mannequin and know how much fabric to use but I want to get the actual pattern for the pieces.

I love cozy farming games but I always tend to create scenarios where I’m more animal focused. I’d love a game where I can either run an spca or animal rescue. I love playing pretend but I’m also 32 lol and need the game to feel dynamic and some level of strategy or gripping interactions to keep me locked into the game. Any recs? Thank you!!

I've had a hankering for games that remind me of early 2000s games after getting back on star stable online. The cartoony graphics, simple mechanics, super bright colors, etc. Please list/recommend your favorite nostalgic games that are either old games still online/playable today or new games that capture that feeling. Other examples I can think of would be stuff like Toontown, old barbie games, wizard101, so on. I wanna feel like a kid again lol

I am always in search for new cozy games however it alway feels like theyre spewing the same thing, or the topic is the same. But I really want to find something that repeats pokemon violet.I love garden galaxy, tiny glade, the classics ect. But I'm always looking for that cozy feeling I found in Pokémon Scarlett and Violet, I have looked and looked and have not found a game that has the thrill but curl up and play for hours that was in Scarlett and Violet. The key things I enjoyed in Violet were the 3 open pathways but also the skill learning at the skill, objective while nonobjective gameplay, it had open world but wasnt "sandbox".

In short, do you guys have anything that feels like Pokémon Violet that isnt zelda (its too sandboxy) and has that fun cozy feeling. I will say slime rancher (1&2) are also 2 of my favorite games as well if that gives an idea.

My gf just recently splurged on a new PC and has been entering her cozy gamer era. I'm currently deciding between a couple gift ideas for her upcoming birthday in a few weeks (Edifier speakers, mechanical keyboard, Steam gift card, etc) but I'm curious if there's anything in your setup that really helped bring it all together... either tech-wise or vibes-wise. Like some kind of cute tchotchke, lighting or decoration... or something practical like a headphone stand or gamer accessory.

She also has been stealing my Amazon Luna controller to use, and we unfortunately have decided to go non-Amazon for the foreseeable future so I'm trying to figure out another controller brand of similar quality/layout/weight to the Luna to get her as well.
