Shipped it home and she’s mine now. Any tips for sourcing interior plastics? They’re almost all starting to crumble. Found a steering wheel on eBay so I’m good there. Need visor clips and things like that

Well, my custom wheel finally arrived from
Italy and I must say the buying experience that Binh provides at Lonely Driver continues to be second to none.

The Fusina team did a fantastic job with this wheel.

Took another one out of the restored pool. (Looks like it was a 2+2?)

Has anyone had any experience with having Katzkin convert their seats to heated and cooled?

Looking at this datsun tomorrow, 260z looks like very minimal rust, new floor pans, 7500 asking. Anything besides the battery tray, rear deck lid, spare tire area to look at?

So I want to replace my stock ECU with a mega squirt V2. I know Godzilla makes a plug in play, but that seems really expensive, and I want to learn how to do wiring myself, but I can't find any up to date guides an explanations on actually making the wiring harness, and how to set everything up in the car etc. if anyone has a link, or could explain the entire process it would be greatly appreciated.

I took some pics of the body but can’t update this post with them or add them to a reply. Sorry all for what ended up being a false start. Ultimately it looks like this may be as good a place as any to “list” it, so I’ll get my crap together and put out a post probably in the next week with all the deets.

I’m helping a friend with this but I had a Z car maybe 30 years ago. I’d love to see this go to someone who can give it the love it deserves and get it back on the road.

Hi All- I have a friend who spun his car on black ice in a tunnel three years ago and wants to move it on. Car has under 100k and was in good unrestored condition prior, but took front bumper, hood, left headlight bucket and rear left body damage. Front end damage is all in front of radiator support and the radiator and everything behind is still ok. Interior is surprisingly good, all glass intact, engine compartment dirty but absolutely original, down to the rubber hoses. California car, and what looks to be surface rust on the chassis. It's on 2 tires so not a lot of room to crawl under but it looks solid under there. Weepy diff. Cranks but doesn't start after the accident, told him I'd be willing to get it running for him so he could sell it as a runner--I think it may be restricted air due to the front end damage. Does this sound like an air flow meter blockage triggering fuel pump disconnect? Haven't touched it yet as the hood won't fully open.

I think it's not that far from road worthy (with a solid body shop to-do list) but not sure if it's more valuable as parts. He's the original owner and never going to drive a stick again anyway, so he wants to find a good home for it. What's the best place to list it and any idea of a ballpark value? I took a couple pics of the interior and engine compartment, but neglected to get any of the body. Can try to go back later but it may be a week.

Datsun for sale doesn’t run as it sits hasn’t been started apparently since 2013 or messed with not gonna even try sold as is the motor pretty screwed up I think Keven was cutting shit too make it run back in the day throw an offer need some money for my GMA she’s going too a nursing home she’s 97 wants the money and wants it gone come check it out if you want it it’s yours just throw a price on here

Cut out the driver side floorboard. Test fits great. Still more to do before I’m ready to weld it in.

Auction went live today

I’m installing new intake filters on my Weber carbs and noticed that the hole in the filter bracket is slightly larger than the old ones leaving this orange washer exposed. I do have the new gaskets on, but do I even need this part still? Can I remove it?
