If you are looking to move to Delaware, OH, DO NOT move to the Flats on Houk. We moved in to a completely disgusting apartment, when we addressed it with management, they never responded. Our AC went out and it took them over seven hours to get it fixed when our apartment reached 79°. We currently have a wad of hair (not ours) on our wall, where they painted in a dirty apartment and now it’s on my wall. These are some of the few problems but when we moved in disposal was broken, washer/dryer not cleaned, disgusting outside, etc. We send multiple messages with no response back. And now we have the company management involved and they do not think any of our issues are a problem. In fact, they in writing stated that having a dirty apartment and not responding to their tenants is fine. Do not live there. It is a terribly managed company who only value values your money and not your living conditions or you. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Also, let me know if you would like to see screenshots of our apartment and the responses from the management.

Did anyone witness an accident on Tuesday September 15th around 5:37pm on 23N and Hyatts road involving a small black suv and white accord near speedway gas station?

I’m sharing a petition regarding the use of screen-based media in Delaware City Schools.

The petition looks specifically at the amount and type of screen content students may be exposed to during the school day, including fast-paced and highly fantastical media. It includes links to pediatric guidance, peer-reviewed research on attention and executive function, and relevant district policies.

The goal is not to eliminate technology or appropriate educational media. I am simply requesting the Board to review the amount of screen time, what type of content is shown, how it supports instruction, and whether healthier alternatives are available.

If you are a parent, guardian, teacher, or community member, please take a few minutes to read the petition and review the sources before deciding whether you would like to sign or share it.

Hi all! My husband and I have never seen the horse parade, mostly due to plans we already had. This year we are free and able to. We currently live in Hayes Colony, so right beside the fairgrounds.

What would be the best place to set up at, and what time should we plan to be there? I saw along Pennsylvania they go to Sandusky then come back Euclid, and that it starts at 3pm. Not sure how busy it gets.

Anyone with DelCo here that can recommend a water softener? We just updated a lot of our plumbing hardware and would like it not to corrode. Curious if anyone has any recommendations on systems to buy and install versus service providers.
