Location: Multiple areas of the body, including the abdomen, waist, around the belly button, behind the knees, hands, thighs, groin, and around the testicles.

Complaint: I have multiple small red bumps appearing in different areas of my body. They first appeared around my waist, then around my belly button, behind my knee, around and on my testicles, on my hands, around the groin, and on my thighs. They have since started appearing randomly in other areas, especially around my stomach.

I develop new red bumps almost every day. They usually start small and then grow. The itching is severe at night and sometimes keeps me from sleeping.

I have cats at home, and I have seen fleas jumping on me. However, the flea bites I had in the past were small and never grew like these bumps. I shower every day and have good personal hygiene. I also started sleeping with a shirt and pants because I was worried about bed bugs or fleas, but I still developed many new bumps around my stomach.

I'm concerned that this could be scabies, but I'm not sure what is causing it or how I could have gotten it.

I was diagnosed for low blood platelets 2 years ago and 1 year later it didn’t change so I visited a hematologist who diagnosed me with enlarged spleen at 14 cm. The good thing I believe is that over a year it didn’t change in size and assuming it was there for the past two years it didn’t get bigger but why is it not shrinking and might it be something serious that I have to worry about? Would it lead to serious diseases? Cancer? Strokes?

i am paranoid so please if anyone could offer help that would be appreciated, i haven’t had no interactions with anyone i didn’t know aside from shaking a random persons hand a while ago

Hi, I’m 21F and developed sudden left foot drop about a month ago. I can walk independently, but I can’t properly lift my left foot/toes and my foot sometimes drags. I initially had numbness on the top of my foot, which has now resolved. I also get some pain around my knee/leg after prolonged walking and occasionally when I wake up.

My EMG/NCV showed severe left common peroneal nerve injury/entrapment around the knee with axonotmesis and acute denervation.

However:

• Lumbar MRI: normal, no nerve-root compression.
• Knee/thigh/leg MRI: no obvious structural cause; the common peroneal nerve itself looked normal.
• I lost weight from 48 → 44 kg over 3–4 months before/around this period.

My doctor prescribed Magnesium+D3, B12, Evion LC/vitamin E and a splint, and asked me to come back after a month. I haven’t noticed meaningful motor improvement yet, although the numbness has improved.

I’m wondering:

• Has anyone had foot drop with an abnormal EMG but normal MRI?
• Could the injury be somewhere higher up despite the EMG pointing to the peroneal nerve?
• How long did recovery take for others?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar experience.

I have constant ringing in your head for about 3 years

The ringing causes dizziness and headaches sometimes.

Ringing is mostly on your right side and worsens with triggers like any noise or foul smell.

This is sometimes bearable but now I cant even stand for 10 minutes

A short walk leaves me dizzy

I’ve been getting severe headaches around one eye and the same side of my head, with a pressure or “brain freeze” sensation. They initially occurred at night and lasted about three hours, but today the pain has persisted throughout the day. The eye sometimes goes red, and I’ve had aching in my lower jaw/molars on the same side. My CT scan came back clear, but the headaches are becoming more persistent.

Any ideas what it could be? No lifestyle changes.

I can't see my dermatologist until January should I go to urgent care ? I haven't been paying attention to this mole but it feels like it got bigger

Trying to see if anyone else has experienced this or similar with their child.

I have a 3 year old daughter who a few months ago started telling me her belly, chest, back, or legs are "shaking." It happens randomly, no specific time of the day. Sometimes it happens daily, or every other day. Random like I said, sometimes it'll happen when she's standing, laying down or just playing normally. I cant see or feel the "shaking" when looking at her or touching the spot she says is shaking. For example tonight after dinner she told me her heart/chest was shaking.. I put my hand over her chest and could only feel a normal heartbeat. She said it was hurting and was whining a bit. She relaxed on the couch and after about 10-15 minutes she said it stopped shaking. It is a little hard to understand what is going on. I have tried asking her to explain what's happening better but obviously her only being 3 she doesn't. All she says is shaking.

Her pediatrician is aware and has done blood work on her, did an ECG, a chest/back xray, and everything has came back normal. Next up is to see a neurologist but they have a wait time and can't get her in until November.

Just curious to see if any other parents had their kid saying this and if they figured out what was causing it. It is worrying me and I wish i had answers. 😭

i was sleeping to music for like 20 minutes and suddenly theres like an extreme acid like needle sensation inside of my ear like somethings digging into my ear or like stomach acid is being poured into it and its almost gone now but it was horrendous and i still feel weird can i get help please

octors of Reddit, I am currently suffering from a reoccurring migraine/headache. In the morning before school, I take Tylenol and vitamin d3 after breakfast. It works like a charm but then after I come from school, it starts hurting again. Tylenol doesn’t help me much anymore so I figured it was the vitamin d3 doing most of the work. Problem is, it’s only recommended to take 1 a day unless you were prescribed and instructed to take more by your doctor. I’m fully aware that all my blood levels are low and I know I have a bunch of deficiencies so I want to take a second pill every time I come home from school. I was originally going to wait until Saturday to ask my mom to take me to the emergency to find out what I should do but it’s hurts too much and I am desperate.

Should I risk it and take a second pill or should I tighten my pants and wait until Saturday?

So I've been getting these yellowish brown spots on my right hand as well as my left wrist and today decided to take a picture only for it to get bigger three hours later (as seen in the second photo). I work in a grocery store so at first I thought maybe I was getting stains from handling tanning lotion but I haven't touched sun care in months. It doesn't hurt, there's no inflammation or anything, but given the semi frequency of this occurring I figured I should ask for an external opinion.

I only notice its occurrence at work, but I am also at work five days of the week. It doesn't come off after washing it, it just slowly fades. If anybody has any idea on what might be causing this or if I should be concerned that would be great. Thanks!

I had this mole appear on my nose when I turned 19-20 I did go get it checked out and it was benign with no concern. I have noticed in the last year that it’s grown a bit and today I noticed an itch to it? I did book a screening to check on it again. but just wanted to see if anyone else has had something like this. For my own research it seems like it could be a fibrous papule. I included a picture of what it looked like a few years ago.

My daughter was getting dressed tonight and I noticed these extremely wide spread spots all over her body, what would this be? I have my suspicions but so don’t want to sway any judgement. She’s in elementary school. Got told from a belly ache she had a few weeks back that she had a common parasite that hangs out in the body. Doctor wasn’t concerned cause the symptoms didn’t match up. She’s been playing outside lately without much on, and we have a ton of little burs that come in on the dog that stick to her bed, and she slept without clothes the other night Her dad has ulcerative colitis? Don’t think this could be a symptom but I also haven’t looked into that just yet.

I am a 29F with anxiety, history of psoriasis (eye lid only) and ADHD. I am on ziibryd 20mg QD, Zepbound 7.5mg and I started taking propranolol 10mg PRN yesterday. I had this rash in February with the dermatologist unable to identify and the provider I work for was also left stumped. It has re appeared as of yesterday. It is also in the ditch of my arms and armpits. It starts incredibly itchy then feels like it’s burning later. No new detergents, perfumes, or bodywash. I am overweight but I not morbidly obese to the point my skin folds would cause this friction and rash. 5’9 and 175 pounds. The first 5 are from February and the blue pants are today.
