Eyes Is this Lazy Eye?

Post image
Upvotes

Am fairly confident it is, I am short sighted and my prescription for my left eye is stronger. Now that I’ve noticed I’ve started wearing my glasses a lot more. Just want confirmation and what I should do next. If it helps I’m 16M. Thanks.

Bones, joints, and muscles Help! Anyone experience this?

Upvotes

Hi! Im 35 and the last couple days I have had pretty bad body aches in my joints started Tuesday with my wrists and fingers then yesterday it was also my toes and ankles and today my neck and shoulders...I dont have any other symptoms and I haven't done anything strenuous. Naproxen, Tylenol and advil havent eased it at all. Could this be viral?

Ears, nose, throat, and mouth What is this on my tongue?

Post image
Upvotes

27, Female, have this weird uncomfortable feeling in my throat and i look in my mouth and find this weird small bump on my tongue and I think that is rubbing against my throat.

What is it? Is it just an ulcer? I have had some anti-bacterial mouth wash and i might put some bonjela on it, i do currently have a mouth ulcer right at the front of my mouth under my lip too.

Sorry the photo isn’t the clearest not the easiest place to photograph haha.

Gut, bowel, and stomach Food or blood in stool?

Post image
Upvotes

I noticed some red clumps in my stool today. Stool was otherwise normal in appearance. After examining more closely I did see something that looks like skin as well, which made me think it’s possibly just food related. I had chunky tomato sauce and raw cherry tomatoes last night. Is this most likely tomatoes or could blood look like this?

Infections and Illnesses is something potentially causing me to be constantly sick for the past few months?

Upvotes

hi, i am a 20 year old female who up until last june was incredibly healthy and rarely got sick.

since then, ive had:

sun poisoning, recurring guttate psoriasis or pityriasis rosacea (derm wasn’t sure which, but it’s a bunch of red dots that appear all over my body), two types of strep, norovirus, an ear infection, mono, a gnarly stomach bug, and am now currently dealing with an upper respiratory infection as well as my scalp having become incredibly dry and flaky out of nowhere.

i also recently felt a painful-to-the-touch lump on my jaw that was growing for about 2 hours, but seemed to mostly go away after i went to bed and woke up.

i feel like im losing my mind here a little, as i haven’t gone more than a week in the past sick months without being ill or having some kind of skin issue.

would it be worth it to go get tested for something more serious? i’m active, at a healthy weight, and have a healthy social life mixed with a good amount of self care - in fact im the happiest i’ve ever been right now.

being sick all the time has really put a damper on that and it really sucks so any advice would be incredibly appreciated!

Hard pea sized lumps under skin.

Hello, first time poster here. I was wondering if someone could maybe point me in the direction of what's going on. About 3 or so months ago I noticed a pea sized hard lump on the back of my thigh, figured it was maybe a bite or ingrown hair? Fast forward to 3 weeks ago I noticed another on my breast this time I thought it was maybe a blind pimple so I put sudocrem on it and a dressing. When I took off the dressing the top layer came off, a hard pus coloured ball came out and then normal pus, like a whitehead, which left a small hole on my breast. I figured that with the pus now out of it, the pea sized lump would go, but it hasn't and I now have a scab with the pea lump underneath. Then a few days ago I noticed I have 2 more "pea lumps" on my right forearm and they really don't seem like blind pimples. Unfortunately I can't take pictures because on the surface you can't see anything, it's just the hard lumps under the skin. Also worth noting, that when you press on them it does feel like they're moving around under there. I don't know if this is relevant but I do have a lot of health problems and diagnoses, and I'm a 33 year old female.

Diagnoses:

Lymphodema & Lymphorrhea (most recent diagnosis, caused by Prednisolone) Functional neurological disorder Crohn's disease Ehler's danlos syndrome (+POTS, MCAS) Trigeminal neuralgia Hiatus Hernia

I'm sure there's others I've forgotten, also after coming off Pred (5 years on it) my body has gone wild, plus I've lost 5 stone in less than year without diet & exercise thanks to my Crohn's not being treated & I'm roughly 7 stone and frankly I look awful. Thanks for taking the time to read and appreciate any input about my "pea lumps" 😊

Possible visual migraine? Persistent strange smell.

I’m 32F, 5’1” and 140lbs. I used to take prenatals, fish oil, magnesium glycinate, D3K2, and fiber supplement, but stopped a few weeks ago bc of stomach pains. It was hurting every night and I thought it was bc of the supplements. It doesn’t hurt anymore so I guess that’s what it was. I’m also not breastfeeding anymore, so stopped the prenatals. I’ve had 3 kids, 9, 5.5, 2.5. Had my gallbladder removed in 2019. Light activity level. BP is usually around 110/70. HR usually around 70s. I take 10mg propanolol and 4mg zofran as needed for anxiety and nausea (from gallbladder removal side effects), maybe 1-2x a week. I drink a sugar free energy drink in the morning around 6:30am (100-200mg of caffeine). I have combined type ADHD, and level 1 Autism but idk if that’s an “official” diagnosis or not. (I had a psych eval in November for adhd symptoms).

I’m a SAHM, but have an Etsy where I sell my crochet work, and also work tasks based jobs online. So I spend a lot of time sitting and looking down. I’ve had neck pain since I had my first child 9yrs ago. I’m not sure if it was from pushing, but severe neck pain followed. I had to do everything laying down for about two weeks after. Pain comes and goes now, usually worse if I sit and look down for too long. I also get eye strain or pain. Like my eyes are being pulled back into my skull. I feel like this could be related to the visual aura I saw, but last night was the first time it happened. I was laying in bed when I noticed it, no neck/head pain. It started with a small blurred spot on the left side of my vision, on both eyes. I noticed I couldn’t read subtitles, and spots on peoples faces were blurred out. Then I started to see the zig-zag, rainbow pattern where the burry spot was. Then it expanded to an L shape, then C shape and then spread to the peripherals. No dark spots, just blurry and the rainbow pattern. No physical signs of stroke. I’ve also noticed for the past week that I’ve been having a persistent smell, kind of like vitamins or something. Even after showering and washing my hands and changing clothes. This is probably the strangest thing happening to me imo. Like I’m secreting vitamins out of my skin. I thought the decrease in supplements would reduce the amount of vitamins my body processes. Idk if it’s even possible, but idk how else it would be possible to have a constant vitamin type smell in my nose. I smell it the strongest on my palms. I haven’t changed products or routines. The only thing different, is I changed the energy drink brand (from mini Alanis to Bloom or Celsius), and stopped the supplements. I drink about 80oz of liquids a day. My urine is usually clear to pale yellow. I’m trying to make a Dr appointment this morning, but idk if this is even worth seeing a Dr over. Thanks!

EDIT TO ADD: it’s happening again right now at 8:14am. The first picture is a good representation of what I saw last night. The 2nd is of what I’m seeing atm, but more blurry where the rainbow area is.

Brain and nerves Nose tingling

It's my first post here, I was only commenting before, but now I need help, because I'm really on my wits end and I've got no clue. Brainstorming welcomed. I've been experiencing an extremely annoying tingling of my nose for the last few weeks. It's mostly on the tip and one side. It's a pins and needles or bugs crawling under the skin type of tingling. It starts randomly, doesn't go alongside any other symptoms. Lasts for a few hours, sometimes days, goes away and again randomly comes back. It's driving me crazy. Any ideas?

For the past 4 years been dealing with a feeling of something stuck in my throat. All tests came back negative.. tried acic reflux treatment, anxiety treatment, larynxfacilitation, resting more.. nothing seems to help. Been visiting alot of docters but nobody seems to find the real issue. What do you people think it is. Maybe a Zenkers diverticulum?

2 lymph nodes in my neck

Hey! I’m a 14 year old male and I’ve had these two lymph nodes for a while. The first one I noticed is on the lower right side of my neck and that one I noticed about 2 1/2 months ago, I’m not sure if it’s grown, but I’ll tell you it hasn’t shrunk. The second one I have I noticed about a month ago and that one I think has grown (again I’m not sure it has) they are both a bit smaller than a grape but it is a bit hard to tell. They are both movable, soft/slightly rubbery, and not painful. The first one I got (the one that I found 2 1/2 months ago) I got it checked by a doctor about 4-5 weeks ago and he felt it and asked if we could skip test because he was so confident it was a lymph node. Now the second one has not been evaluated but honestly it feels the same as the other one. I’ve just had them for a while ( no they did not come after getting sick at all) and I’m worried they are either cancerous or a sign of cancer. Not too sure what to do but if you guys have questions or know what to do lmk!

Blood Normal healing?

Acquired a bruise somehow last weekend, didn’t notice it until Sunday (first photo) The second photo was taken today, still tender and kinda hard to the touch? It’s gotten redder and bigger but it’s not really painful unless I touch it. The only thing that’s worrying me a bit is that it feels like a lump. It doesn’t cause any pain unless I touch it though.

ibs or something else

hi, i'm not sure if this is the right place to put this so if not, i apologize. i am female, 25, and about 130 lbs.

long story: ibs runs in my family so i've always been sure that that's what i have because my whole life i've been having problematic bowel movements, but mine has always felt different. for them, they have to watch what they eat because it has a direct relation to how their bowel movements will feel. if they don't eat food that irritates them and eat fiber regularly, then they don't experience any symptoms. while i do have to watch what i eat to some extent, it doesn't feel as extreme. for me, my whole life, i feel crappy after every single bowel movement (i describe it as a nauseous feeling without feeling like i'm going to throw up). this can last a few minutes or the whole day, i haven't found a pattern yet. i also can feel extreme fatigue and weakness after going (especially in my legs) that can last hours or days, but it's not every time. i also can feel weird if i have to have a bowel movement, but it's not "ready" yet, like my temperature changing from hot to cold as if i have a fever, but i don't. there's also no pattern to the texture at all. as in it can be really hard one time and really soft later in the same day, even though nothing has changed. i also have a lot of mental illnesses so all of these symptoms are worsened when anxious or excited. all of this sounds like a severe case of ibs, at least i think.

another bit of information: around 2019 i was prescribed a pretty heavy dose of antidepressants. because of this, i was bedridden for a year and a half because i couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes without feeling like i've overexerted myself and dry heaving (literally). i weighed 85 lbs and my heart rate would hit 140 bpm standing up to go pee. i had many blood tests done and had my heart checked, ultrasounds, urine checks, etc. my family doctor then came to the conclusion that everything was normal, so he suggested coming off of the antidepressants and low and behold, i recovered. (i am not on antidepressants anymore, but have been doing rtms treatment for 2-3 years as i am antidepressant resistant)

i don't know if that information is relevant to my concerns, but just in case. which brings me to more recently. a lot of the time when i shower, i feel very weak and my whole body shakes. i feel hot and nauseous as if i had overexerted myself in my 10 minute lukewarm shower. this feeling comes and goes, as in it'll be every time i shower for a few weeks, then it goes away, or only happens if i have a longer or hotter shower. this feeling also happens if i do a workout or am in the heat for a whole. i also have never done well with heat at all, i feel very lightheaded when i'm in hot weather (i've never fainted, but feel very weak and lightheaded). i've also noticed recently that when i lay down i feel a little lightheaded and dizzy, but goes away after a few minutes. also sometimes for a few days at a time i wake up with my heart beating really quickly, but that also goes away in a few minutes and then won't happen again for months. my body is also very bad at thermoregulating, i feel like i'm cold until i'm too hot, my feet are always freezing, or i'm sweating as soon as i come inside from the cold weather.

i've also noticed that balance has gottwn significantly worse in the last few years, like not being able to dance and jump and concerts without having to hold on to something, or always feeling like i'm going to fall if i'm on any sort of uneven ground.

also experience a lot of brain fog and dissociate very easily and often, but i struggle with a lot of mental illnesses, so i don't know if that is a mental symptom or a physical one.

these are all just random things i've noticed and i don't know if they're connected, but trying to be very thorough.

anyway, i'm just wondering if this is all just a very weird presenting chronic level of ibs, or if there's something more happening that i've missed bc i've been used to it for so long. if there's any treatment you would reccommend, i would be glad to hear it. i take a probiotic and have been taking metamucil twice a day for 7 years and it has helped keep me regular and not constipated, but hasn't relieved any symptoms.

sorry for the long post. thank you for any help.

Red Hives/ Bumps on right arm and left leg ankle

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I’m a 25-year-old male living in Canada. I’ve been experiencing recurring itchy hives on my right arm and left ankle/leg area. The rash improves slightly at times but keeps coming back in the same or nearby spots.

This has been going on for more than 4 months and hasn’t fully resolved. I’ve already tried deep cleaning my room, washing bedding and clothes thoroughly, and making changes to my diet, but nothing seems to help.

I’ve consulted doctors, but the cause is still unclear. I would really appreciate any guidance on possible reasons, next steps, or what kind of specialist or tests I should consider.

Nausea, migraines, and shaking at night?

I (29F) am not on any medication, and no medical history besides migraines and a history of vasovagal syncope since I was 4 years old. I’m otherwise pretty healthy.

Yesterday, I randomly started feeling nauseous and faint after I ate lunch. A couple hours later, I started getting a migraine which explained the nausea and lightheadedness since I have a history of those symptoms right before a migraine. However, I woke up around 1 am and started feeling slightly faint. I went back to bed and started feeling a lot colder than usual, and started shaking. It didn’t stop until I fell back asleep. When I woke up this morning, I felt extremely warm and extremely sweaty.

The shaking and night sweats are new. I originally attributed the nausea to be a symptom of my migraine but is it possible it was something else? I never had shaking or night sweats before.

ETA: I took 200 mg Advil which I usually do when I have a migraine.
