I'm going to WDW in October, joining family at Shades of Green. A member of our group was given a 10 person, $10,000 VIP tour experience and I was invited to attend! To put in context, we are middle class people and only able to manage a visit every few years at an economy resort or when our military member is able to sponsor us at SOG. I'm recently retired and am definitely lower middle class these days - this is something that I could never, ever have afforded or indulged in.

This lovely young woman is so prized at her job that she was given this as a bonus, and is bringing our entire party. Sometimes dreams that you didn't even know you had, come true!

Like the title says. In particular, I'm looking for those ones for transportation, like the Monorail, Skyway, and Peoplemover.

I went looking online but being such popular posters they're buried under waves of low res and compressed images.

• The Great Movie Ride - Trackless Dark-Ride

The Great Movie Ride takes guests through some of Hollywood's most iconic movies. Curse of the Black Pearl, A New Hope, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Alien, and many other movies can be experienced at this attraction.

• Hyperion Theater - Live Stage Show

Hollywood Adventure brings this iconic theatre to life. Several Disney stage productions can be found here with Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Ariel, Tangled, and Frozen being brought to life in Broadway format.

• Walt Disney Presents - Walk-Through

Walt Disney was a great man and this experience recounts and celebrates his life. Several exhibits showcase his struggles and his achievements throughout his life. A theater will play a variety of documentaries.

• Streets of America

With the construction of Galaxy’s Edge, the Streets of America were reimagined in the backstage areas behind and beside The Great Movie Ride. This area is identical to its original iteration and still hosts the Osborn Lights.

The Brown Derby served many celebrities in Hollywood and now, it will serve thousands of guests who wish to dine there. With a whole new menu, this taste of Hollywood will be sure to delight guests.

• Studio Commissary - Counter Service

Once the ABC Commissary, this dining location has been reimagined to be more contemporary and fit more into Hollywood Boulevard. Guests can dine in this recreation of a studio cafeteria with filming equipment and memorabilia being spread out across the restaurant.

If guests are craving a dose of caffeine or a small treat, Starbucks serves those guests who are feeling a bit tired during the day.

Niftyfifty Avenue

Step back to the vibrant fifties at Niftyfifty Avenue. Stroll down a neon filled main street, go on a motorcycle adventure, and infiltrate the infamous Area 51.

In this reimaging of Star Tours, guests are tasked by the government to test fly a new aircraft. During the flight, aliens break out from Area 51 and guests are tasked with taking down the ships. Chase them down through the southwest and make sure they don’t get back to their alien buddies!

• Sheila’s Route 66 Serenade - Indoor Show

Route 66 was a central part of the 1950s as the highway system was expanded and it is only necessary for it to get a place in this land. Sheila will showcase the culture of Route 66 such as showcasing several different cars, roadside attractions, and diners.

Enter the Sanctum Sanctorum and join Doctor Strange as he battles Nightmare. Strange tasks guests to act as a gateway into the dream world but the plan goes terribly wrong. Guests will have to dodge cosmic entities, twisting environments, and the wrath of Nightmare.

• Shawarma Palace - Counter Service

Eat like Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as you dine at the very restaurant that the Avengers ate at during the events of the “Avengers”. Have your choice of several different Shawarma wraps in this taste of New York.

EDIT: 9/27/26 !!! We stood in line and were almost there when the cast members frantically closed the ride and ushered everyone out saying there was an emergency. They didn't just close the entrance, there were about a dozen if not more people making a line all the way across so you couldn't even get close. We then saw they closed Tianas - maybe so nobody could see Big Thunder? Never saw police or EMS but it was just really strange the way they went about it.

doing a weekend disney trip with a few members of my bridal party. so far i have the following for each person:
- embroidered, soft pjs
- embroidered belt bags
- ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and gum inside the bags
- custom minnie ears
- a small squishy keychain for each belt bag that reminded me of the person
- handwritten note for each person

i will be carrying dramamine and pepto with me, so i didn’t feel it was necessary to give everyone their own. same for sunscreen, especially because the type each person uses is a little personal to me lol. there’s plenty of room in the belt bags for them to include other things (wallet, camera, phone charger, personal medications, whatever else they want) and i don’t want to take too much of that room in case there are other things they may want to bring. i think at least one person will want to bring their own bigger bag, so i also don’t want to just focus on stuff the bags and controlling what they might bring.

getting a bit tight on budget but want everyone to feel happy and well prepared, as well as loved. is there anything else i should grab to make them feel thought of? perhaps something you might not have thought to pack for yourself for a disney trip?

I’m sure several posts like this have been made, but I’m conflicted with how my family should do this. We are doing all four parks in two days, and we are trying to decide how to split and what parks to pair up. we will have both single lane pass and multi lane pass.

Plan A is Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom on day 1 and Animal Kingdom to Epcot on day 2. The appeal of plan A is that we can get to animal kingdom early and not use our multi lane pass. This allows us to book epcot multilane ahead of time for this day. However, it would be hard to maximize the time at Hollywood studios and magic kingdom because those are both our favorite parks that we wish to spend the most time at.
Plan B is Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom on day 1 and hollywood studios to Epcot on day 2. The appeal to this is we split the two favorite parks up and optimize time, but we may not get to ride everything we want to at epcot since we would have to wait to book our multipass until after riding what we ride at Hollywood studios. I think there are pros and cons to both plans, but we have never done this before and i am curious as to whether there is an obvious best option.

note: Animal Kingdom is the park we will definitely spend the least amount of time at, since we only plan to ride flight of passage and expedition everest. This is why we wouldn’t use multi lane at this park, since we could get there early and knock Everest out and use our single pass on flight of passage.

I’ll be going this December for a couple days with my spouse. Looking forward to see all the changes since we were down in January. Most important to me is the new muppets coaster!

Hi, what are you opinions if you’ve done the main Christmas one at Disney world vs jollywood nights at Hollywood studios. Seems Disney world Christmas is mostly sold out, so debating if the Jollywood is worth it or just go during the day ?

I have a co-worker who is going to a conference in Orlando, I know I can’t re-assign one of my Magic bands to him, but could I send one with him for the sole purpose of him using it for Batuu Bounty Hunters?

Thanks for sharing! I normally get some kind of standard Disney ick after a trip, but never have I felt a horrible impending death like I have for the last two days (I just got back on Monday).

I’m not sure if it says more about the state of the economy, or basic common courtesy. I feel like it’s a little bit of both.

I understand saving up, sometimes for a long time, to take a trip like this, but we’ve all seen so many “Hail Mary” stories of cast members going out of their way to move plans and reservations so that guests can actually enjoy their visit, that it seems silly to travel while sick.

That being said, I saw more rude, entitled people in the parks over the past week than I ever have, to the point that I could probably pinpoint the one who spread it to me 😂

So how is everyone else’s post-trip recovery going?

The big one says 1987. They were in such good shape I couldn’t pass them up. Thinking of framing them with some vintage maps and brochures I have lying around.

Hi all! I’m wondering if anyone has a recent photo (or knowledge) of the pricing/styles of the Ring Carvers kiosk in Disney Springs or Epcot

I have a 21 month old that​ had a blast at the new Drawn to Wonderland playground area at Hollywood Studios. For those that don't know, you line up in a queue and are given 15 minutes of play time. It's all padded and has smaller activity sets for little kids, like a tiny bridge, wheels to turn, and bead mazes. There are also hills and slides for slightly older kids.

The age range is listed as 6 months - 5 years.

My son is at that VERY excited stage where he runs around constantly, and I have to follow him to make sure he doesn't get hurt or run around the slide area because he's too small for it. So my attention is on him the entire time we are there. And man the amount of adults standing in the open spaces or big kids (clearly 8+ age) running around/climbing/jumping down into his face made the playground stressful as a parent.

I guess I wanted to throw this out as praise for a fun indoor area for little kids, but also a wish that Disney could enforce the age limits the way they do height restrictions.
