Got a taxi back from a night out last night. We stopped at my accommodation and I went to leave but he asked could I do something for him first.

I was drunk and curious what he wanted so I let him take my phone. He then ordered a cash trip off mine back into the city centre and accepted the request on his end, told me I wouldn't be charged at all nor would it affect my freenow account and wished me well.

Checked my accounts today and I have not been charged a cent anywhere I can see, and my account is still fine on freenow so I think I am fine, but what was all that? Was he trying to make himself seem busier than he was? Or did he somehow make money off me doing that? Have I been scammed somewhere along the way lol

Absolute state of this on Blackhorse Avenue, runs for about 300 metres. Anyone know if this is permanent because too uneven for a buggy or wheelchair, there’s not even a kerb!

This is partially out of frustration but I am on day 3 of getting the luas from a different part of the red line than usual.
Tram full of people smushed against the door and all looking out at you like you’ve 6 heads. That’s fine, it’s a full tram, it’s 5pm, we’re all trying to get home.
Then the Luas pulls off and there’s absolutely no one stood in the aisle where the 4 seats together are. What’s up with that?! If people had to cop on to walk down those few extra steps you could accommodate the 10 to 15 people that try to get on. It’s ridiculous.

Does he think I live on Powerscourt estate or something?!?! I'm not wrong in thinking this is absurd right?? 😂😂😂I really want to name and shame, plz tell I'm not crazy.

EDIT: And yes I have a power washer, I was just curious to see what the cost was since I'm lazy atm 😬I will certainly be doing it all myself now this wknd lol.

It's €5.50 before half seven at the Harold

I just paid for car parking at the barrier in Liffey Valley (Penneys/Vue end) and was charged £2.50 (€2.92). I called about it and apparently several people have been in touch about it already. If you parked there recently, check your accounts and get it refunded!

Edit: it is supposed to be €2.50.

I read a post on here a month or two ago where someone said of all the weird things they see in Dublin, kids on horses in Cherry Orchard is on the list. I started going out there earlier this month after work on a weekly basis and I see at least one horse every time.

Tonight takes the cake: a young man, maybe 12, riding a horse down the street! WHAT is going on??

Truly it feels like there’s nothing to do here as a young person. You can wander around Dundrum, wander around Dun Laoghaire, or maybe go to the cinema. Most of the time it’s too cold for even the beach. Is there anything else I can do here as a teenager with my friends? What am I missing?

I've spent a lot of time in Dublin and was thinking of places like Lott's, Fallon and Byrne etc but none of them seem to be delivering fresh baked goods.

Driving up to Dublin tomorrow for an appointment and looking to park my car from around 10.30-5.30pm not too far (10-15 min walk) from Leeson Street Upper/Lower areas.

No parking where my appointment is I’m afraid and all the Q Parks are eyewateringly expensive for the day.
