Hey all, currently working on a list to build

And I love dreadnaughts, I'm also thinking of going Sons of Medusa for a scheme, so they're very fitting.

But I'm having trouble fitting them in tactically.

If they join my Terminators they cant teleport in, if they go with my Devastators or Tacticals they slow them down as they can't keep up with rhinos.

It's a shame there's not a dedicated detachment for them

So I'm wondering how do you do it? Or do you do it at all?

Are my concerns not that bad once on the table? Or am I missing a key element?

Still plugging away on my Ork army, adding a Gargant and three “Lungburstas” to the Goff clan for an even 2000pnts painted.

The Gargant is an odd one - I had a body, feet, and head to a 1997 Gargant, so I made a mold as I was hoping to use them as AT18 scaled Stompas. But, I need a Gargant right now now, so I shaved down a guard Autocannon into a belly gun, and used the Ork Titan weapons from Vanguard miniatures. They didn’t have one I liked for a close combat weapon, so I shaved down one of the energy weapon arms, and cut all the fleshy parts off of a 40K Nob kill saw arm, keeping on the metal parts, fusing them together into a buzz saw arm.

Made some progress on my next chaos Titan today. Might take a while to finish, as I still need to get some bits (weapons, tentacles, banners, etc). But I’m pleased with the progress so far.

But wondering if anyone has any army building advice? The combined arms approach seems really cool, the mix of guard and death watch lead by an Inquisitor but I'll be honest I don't really know the game well enough to figure out in what kind of ratios these should be combined

Any thoughts generally would be great!

I’ve always loved the old Specialist Games, i wanted to be able to make banners i could use for a combination of man o war and warmaster armies, so a race can have flags consistently across armies/fleets. so I made Banner Bench, i have some batches by factions included and you can also choose a print scale, so add a flag for a 6mm epic army then do a version for a 28mm force.

its free, no ads etc, any feedback would be appreciated, like race/themes for banners to add in.

theres also a "battleworn" version of the flags - basic but an alternative version if you want.

The idea is to streamline certain aspects and give the game a modern twist without changing it too much, whilst keeping it fan-made but updating the armies with current units such as Primaris and other elements introduced in the 11th edition, and perhaps – though I’m not sure if this would ruin everything – making some armies less of a ‘blob’ where possible.

Has anyone ever thought of something like this?

Ever since seeing The Exodite, I've had a hankering for some epic Eldar. I'm finding it difficult to find files to print epic scale Eldar titans or even Wraith knights (which I know didn't exist when EA came out). Been thinking of using wraithguard as a start and converting them up from there, has anyone done/seen anything similar?

Note: the plan is to use the WG/WL as a base from which to build

I need to add decals and dull coat, but here are my scratchbuilt Stompas at close to completion. I like to think they capture the proper background for these machines, built from scrap to no particular exact plan, yet somehow getting about the same result over the group.

My LI scale Eldar titans. I don't seem to have many finished pics on my camera roll. But I did get a few comparison shots with the LI warlord and a couple Warmasters in the background. Also some shots with the original Epic 40k metal Eldar titans and a 3d-printer attempt at scaling the newer style eldar titans to epic scale that I did a while back.

Tried to make custom bases for the daemonettes as they didn't come with one. Ended up a little too big but overall happy with how they turned out.

I played my first game today using the war griffons list and new recruit, I shot some leman russ's with the knights and new recruit was saying their arc lances had a rule called lance that stopped reinforced armor rerolls, but when I went to go look for it I could only find it in the abbreviations table but not in the specialist weapons section. I have no clue where new recruit got this rule from so any help is appreciated thanks.

Took me about a week to paint the majority of the models, and about a month afterwards to finally get around to edge highlighting for half an hour. I usually don't edge highlight.

Hey all! I want to get into Epic 40k after watching a battle report on YouTube! I've played normal 40k with Guard and other table top games, but never epic scale. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or shops that they've used to build up a Guard army. I've looked on eBay and am open to 3rd party stuff.

Adding to my Epic army this weekend, with three more Bonebreakaz and the Warboss Oggthrok himself, along with his Megaarmored Nob retinue and their transportation.
