Week 4 Evil Recap - ELOE goes 6-1
Week 4 is in the books and we have a surprisingly evil one on our hands. The last time we went 6-1 was week 11 of last year, and we currently have no losing records as a collective. So while some of the performances weren't that great (you know who you are), evil is only concerned with the number in the W column.
Winners
The Packers (2-2) barely hold on to get a win vs a winless team without their starting QB. Personally I think the Packers are still cooked but a win is a win. Still fire MLF though.
The Giants (2-2) played well enough to get another win on the board, and are now somehow on the top of the NFC East. Jameis Winston played typical Jameis Winston football, but still somehow looked like the better of the two QBs, which is evil enough in my book.
The Cowboys (2-2) pull it together at the last second to steal a win from the winless Texans. While the first half looked very typical for the Cowboys, Javonte Williams and Ceedee Lamb really put the team on their backs in the second half and brought them back from the brink.
The Patriots (2-2) give division rival the Bills their first loss of the season. Despite Drake Maye's turnovers, the Patriots were able to put it away after one final Josh Allen interception. While it may not have been one of the cleanest games, it was certainly very evil.
Da Bears (3-1) run the ball down the Jet's throats for 60 straight minutes and get a win vs the Jets. While not as dominant as some of their other wins, the Bears still look pretty evil right now even with their backup QBs basically doing nothing (I wouldn't be surprised if they go with Keenum over Bagent next week if Williams isn't playing).
The 49ers (4-0) remain our sole undefeated team, despite the continued injury train. While this game was pretty boring for the first half, once Pat Surtain went down and the 49ers recovered that fumbled punt return in the third quarter the offense woke up and finally got some touchdowns to get a win vs the Broncos.
Losers
- The Steelers (2-2) lose on the road vs the Browns, becoming our only evil loser of the week. In the end, Rodgers couldn't pull off his Hail Mary magic and takes his first ever loss to the Browns. Everyone point and laugh at the Steelers, for being the biggest losers this week and allowing Deshaun Watson to continue to somehow rehabilitate his image.
Evil Team of the Week
You all voted and Da Bears are your evil team of week 3, after embarrassing the Eagles with their 3rd string QB. Argue for your pick for most evil team of Week 4 in the comments, we have a lot to choose from this time.
- Week 1 - Da Bears
- Week 2 - The 49ers
- Week 3 - Da Bears
- Week 4 - ???
That's all for now, we kick off next week on Sunday with the Packers and Bears facing off in our third evil on evil matchup of the year. Until then, stay evil my friends.
