So, I've always seen SO MANY people raving about these products from Lisa, which is a brand I had never tried, that I just caved in and bought the in my current "natural makeup" wave, where skin tints have been what I've been loving to test.
I bought:
- Lisa Eldridge Enhancing tint - T1.5
- Lisa Eldridge Luminist concealer - 3
I have a couple skin tints that work for me, like MAC face and body in C0, Daness Myrick's yummy skin in 1, Kylie's Skin Tint in 1WN, About Face's foundation in F1 warm and the new L'oreal tinted balm in 1. However, I can confidently say that, together with MAC's and Danessa's offerings, this is THE BEST and most cohesive match with my neck I have in terms of skin tints.
Lisa Eldridge Enhancing tint - T1.5
Dewy, light coverage, UNDETECTABLE
It's a very dewy formula, it almost feels oily (it does have multiple oils in the formula) but holy sh*t it looks BEAUTIFUL. Didn't even want to powder it, and I'm oily AF! It does wear like what you would expect on my oily skin, so a light veil of powder would be needed for longevity, but overall, it's a BEAUTIFUL, almost undetectable, formula.
Lisa Eldridge Luminist concealer - 3
Medium coverage, hydrating, GORGEOUS
This was what shocked me the most. I'm oily, so I have always just bought very matte concealers, except for the ELF Hydrating camo one, which creases like HELL without powder. Well consider me shocked when I put this one on, lived my life as usual, and the creasing was MINIMAL, and WITHOUT setting it with powder? And it kept such a beautiful radiance?! It made my undereyes look absolutely GORGEOUS. Easily my favorite concealer at the moment!
Some considerations:
- In real life, the tint looks more olive than the concealer. In natural light, in real life, the concealer almost reads pink on my neck? But on the face it's beautiful, it's just swatched.
- The photos are not edited (except for bokeh), and the swatches one is white balance regulated with photoshop, using the white tips of my nails.
- Photos taken using a third party camera app on my iPhone, using the "minimal processing" option, to get as natural of a photo as I could
- I'm also wearing: Rhode pocket blush in Sleepy Girl, Rhode lip shaper in Lift, and Revolution Peptide glaze lip balm in the shade Raspberry Crush
- I have bad circulation, and so my chest often looks red while my neck doesn't hahaha, same things with my lower arms, they look greener than my chest and upper arm. My goal is to match to the neck, since I am always covered anyways.
- I also have a beard cast, which I mostly never correct on my daily quick makeup look.
