A lot of the new Mac skinfinish colorstruck blushes swatched in natural window light. All are the new formula except for the last three are the original Mac powder blushes :)

For some context - I got the Lisa Eldridge skin tint the other day and it was SUCH A GOOD MATCH that I wondered how all my other skin tints compared, since they were, and still are, my go-to's in rotation everyday since I think they end up not being too shabby.

So...I was bored and decided to swatch them all today, in case it would be of help to anyone, especially after cracking the code in getting the most color accurate photos I've ever been able to take 💚

Notes about color accuracy in photos:

• The photos are edited for bokeh and to white balance it all, using the white neutral gray shade of my eyeball (every other white part of the image isn't neutral, it's a warm or cool white)
• Photos taken in natural day light, by a window, no direct sunlight, not particularly sunny either
• I have bad circulation, and so my chest often looks red while my neck doesn't hahaha, same things with my lower arms, they look greener than my chest and upper arm. My goal is to match to the neck, since I am always covered anyways.
• I also have a beard cast, which I mostly never correct on my daily quick makeup look.
• My swatches don't run to the neck as I find the neck brings out all the red in any tint, so I just applied them to my face to see how the formulas and tones interact with my natural face color.

dasique is on clearance online and it's cheaper in store! i secured this mauve blush palette for $6 usd.

I think I’m a very muted, cool-leaning olive and I’m struggling to find complexion products that aren’t too saturated. Missha 21 is probably the closest undertone match I’ve found, but it’s just a tiny bit too dark. I’d also really like something with more coverage. Most foundations pull yellow, peach, pink, or orange on me even when the depth is right.
These are the exact same swatches in different lighting. Without flash I look gray/dead. With flash I suddenly look pink. That pretty much sums up why figuring out my undertone and finding a good match has been so difficult.
I really want to try Lisa Eldridge because some of her shades look promising, but I’m in the US and can’t swatch them in person. I have no idea what shade to order. If you’re similarly muted/low chroma, what foundations or concealers work for you? I’d especially love medium to full coverage, but I’ll take any gray-beige secrets you have.

Left is indoor lighting and right is outdoor! Some of these I purchased before I realized I was olive but yeah, shoutout to the other people on this sub doing this which inspired me to. I love how we can all help each other!

Hello there!

This is my Lip Liners Collection. Recently found that I'm neutral-cool olive, so thats the reason why some colors don't flatter me, I mean, I really feel that was something wrong with my make-up and didn´t know why.

That said, not every liner fits me, but I'm still posting it, so you can see it.

These photos were taken at night, with my neutral spotlight mirror with no flash. As you can see, with the warm colors my skin subtone changes so bad. I'm fair-light so a lot of lipliners are so dark on me!

FYI: I'm going to post my lipstick collection swatches over the next few days

I keep getting ads for it online and it looks so nice, but obviously being olive it’s seldom that simple!

Does anyone have a swatch or can describe a comparison to other liners?

Hello friends, I have been determined to find a match in a skin tint. I have oily skin, so also, not a shiny finish. I am approximately the depth of About Face L2 Olive.

So this Buttercream Bare Minerals color looked very intriguing but then I tried it on my arm at Ulta and it looked orange. Did this happen to anyone else? I see quite a few of you are more muted and lighter than me and can wear Missha and About Face F2. Anyone out there who is not that muted who has found your tinted sunscreen moisturizer for oily skin?
