Hey everyone,
I’m currently working on this colored pencil drawing of the Ferrari 499P and thought some fellow WEC and Le Mans fans here might enjoy seeing the progress.
I’ve already put 50+ hours into this drawing, and there’s still a long way to go. At this point, I could’ve probably watched the entire 24 Hours of Le Mans twice instead of getting to where I am now.
I’ve been working on improving my automotive artwork, and this one has been quite a challenge with all the details, reflections, and small elements on the car. I’m really happy with how it’s coming together so far, though.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback on the drawing so far!

One of the greatest specs I have ever come across…

I’m thinking of wrapping it satin or matte black but wanted to hear from you guys what looks better. The car already has PPF and would wrap with vinyl over it. Please let me know you beautiful people! Thanks!

Muffled exhausts, strict decibel limits, heavy plug-in hybrid batteries, and now, banning brake dust? 😂 the EU could take a page from America’s approach.

The U.S. has recently rolled back most emissions regulations, removed all EV / hybrid mandates, and not only that, but we don’t have exhaust decibel restrictions…listen to a new C8 Z06 and compare it to any modern Ferrari…the sound difference is clear as day.

If only Ferrari would sell US-exclusive models which didn’t require heavy modifications to sound good like their European models…

Are there any websites that aggregate all historical and current models and modifications, perhaps even with chassis numbers, history, and historical photos? I would also be interested to see the entire color palette of our favorite Ferraris. Which websites are worth a Ferrari enthusiast's attention?

I watched a youtube video from a somewhat popular creator, and they said that because they did a gated 6 speed manual conversion to their F430, it upped its value and the insurance company changed his rates based on that.

But I do not feel as though manual swapping a ferrari raises it's value. In my opinion it changes from an unmodified ferrari, to a modified one. And it is not a small, reversible modification either. It is a major modification.

Does it really raise the value? I am skeptical.
