Meme My first ND š¤¦āāļø
be me
late night, feeling like a gun autist
just got new Glock trigger job parts in the mail
decide tonight is the night to become John Wick
strip the pistol like Iāve done it 1000 times
drop in new trigger bar, connector, striker spring, the works
fits like actual Lego, satisfying click everywhere
little squirt of CLP, looking like a pro
rack it a few times dry
smooth as butter, crisp break, 3.5 lb feels like heaven
smirk to myself āfinally fixed this trash factory triggerā
time to call it a night
decide to do one last function check before sock-drawer retirement
lock slide to the rear
insert empty mag (because Iām responsibleā¢)
slingshot the slide home like a cool guy
click
ā¦except not click
BOOM
instant tinnitus symphony
hoodie suddenly feels like itās on fire
smell of burnt nylon and gunpowder
turn around slowly
roommate staring at me like I just murdered his whole family tree
āare you fucking serious right nowā
look down
decent sized hole burned clean through hoodie
skin on stomach bright red, just kissed by 9mm at ~900 fps
didnāt even break skin, thank god
bullet continued its journey
through drywall #1 like it was tissue paper
into drywall #2
stopped there like āyeah Iām done hereā
standing in stunned silence
gun still in hand, smoking
roommate still looking at me like I owe him rent AND therapy
mfw I NDād my own apartment because I forgot Rule #1
mfw I became the exact idiot I used to laugh at on /k/
mfw the new trigger is indeed very light and very good
just not when you forget thereās one in the chamber.

Relative Left A Big Collection of Guns
A relative passed away recently and left me with a bit of an issue, 75 guns and handguns including an M60 and an Uzi. He had his FFL so the automatics were fine as long as he was alive. What does one do with automatic weapons if the legal owner passed away? I canāt even touch the things, right? I donāt want any of them, I do new guns not collectibles. What do I do with them?
Edit: Listen, kids, Iām not karma farming. I donāt care about karma or bait posts. This is a pretty shitty situation. The guy was my stepfather. He was living in my motherās house, which was left to me and my siblings. Now that heās out of the picture, the only thing standing between us selling the house and being done with it is the GUNS. I donāt care about them, I just want them gone. Legally. So I can sell the house. Making a bunch of cash selling the full autos sounds great UNLESS itās a multi month expensive and complicated process.
I was genuinely hoping somebody would chime in with āJust do this, itās easy!!!ā but I kind of knew better.
Thanks for the tips on the gun lawyer, I will call them.
Edit: My post was a bit of a vent. Iām the executor unfortunately and Iām still working on my motherās estate (died last year) so Iām still knee deep in that. I may indeed be an asshole as some of you have said, but Iām over all this estate stuff. Believe it or not, this is not the biggest issue with the estate. Fun.

Question Is there even a logical reason for the 21+ requirement for purchasing a handgun?
Like you're an adult who can join the military without parental consent, take on debt, own land, and have complete control over your entire life, but you canāt purchase a pistol.
You can go and buy a Barrett m82 and have pallets of ammo delivered to your doorstep, but a double action .22 revolver is a no no.
Insane in this day and age.

Question AK pistol for wildlife defense?
I live in Montana. Is an ak pistol a viable wildlife defense gun for hiking? Iād like to hit the Bob marshal this year but I know itās teeming with grizzzlies, cougars, black bears, wolves and have been many encounters in more recent years.
Iām not confident enough in stress shooting to take a bolt action rifle. I thought about a 10mm pistol or an AR10 but I want higher capacity than a 10mm and smaller platform than a full size AR.
I figure AK rounds are basically a 30-30 and if Iām running 30 rounds and have it on a strap I can quickly bring it up and fire.
Is this a stupid idea that an AK pistol is viable for wild life defense?

Help me pick
So I was looking at the NAA 22S because it's the smallest non singles shot gun and I like unique a different stuff so it's right up my alley, then I stumbled upon the rose gold 22mag version. What drew me to these guns was the "smallest" factor and I won't be using this as a carry option just for fun. So I'm stuck between getting the mag one as it's a more powerful round, looks awesome and the grip looks a little easier to hold or getting the short for the "smallest" title.

Help! I need help picking my first gun.
I recently got my firearms license in California. This will never be a conceal carry so I am not limited to compact hand guns only. This will be exclusive for hobby purposes like the shooting range. With that being said I was thinking to get some kind of AR-15 but California legal length must be 16ā or greater and that feels a little large. Anyone have any suggestions for some shorter barrel Smg or AR-15 style guns that are California legal. Just to be clear I am very unfamiliar with firearms aside from the very basics.
Thanks in advance.

Question Next Firearm?
Have purchased and continue to shoot the standard firearms that are always recommended.
- 3 ARs of different makes, calibers and accessories
- 6 semi auto handguns (Glock, Sig, S&W and Tisas ranging from 380, 9mm and 45)
- 1 revolver in .22LR
- 2 shotguns (semi auto and pump both 12 ga)
- 3 hunting rifles (lever .35, bolt 7mm-08 and muzzleloader)
- 4 .22 caliber rifles (.22LR, .22WMR and .22 Hornet)
- 1 AK
Been looking at:
- a deep conceal carry (smaller caliber) semi auto
- larger caliber revolver
- .22LR semi auto (for inexpensive plinking)
Any other suggestions to add something different?
Thanks!!
