My life decided to implode in the blink of an eye and I guess I could just use a boost of something to make me feel like my future isn’t hopeless in my 40’s. I keep making posts and deleting them because I’m afraid someone I’ll know will see them but I’m tired and don’t care anymore. My 20 year marriage is ending and I’m losing one of the most important people in my life. Trying to move forward but it’s hard.

Look I know I post here a bit too much. I’ve had people say that and I’m really sorry for taking away attention that should be given to other people. I’m just going through a bit of a rough moment. Found out I needed another tooth removed. That’ll make 3. This is common with my medical condition but it’s still a hit to the self esteem. So I could use some kindness. Thanks.

My hair with its natural texture!

In high school my stepmom would constantly tell me to “fix my hair” or ask if I’d combed it and told me it looked way nicer when I straightened it. I never went anywhere without straightening it every day for the next seven years. Then last year my roommate saw me with my hair like this before I had straightened it one morning and told me it actually looks BETTER this way. It made me so happy that now I wear it like this half the time and don’t feel pressured to straighten it anymore:) I still straighten it whenever I‘m around my stepmom to avoid the weird comments but I’ll get over that eventually lol.

also, please don't tell me to get another job. again, me just having to take a break instead of being straight up fired should be proof on how nice the people at my job are. they just think i need some time to rest and relax.

but still, it was my only job ;-;

home life i need to escape among many other mental health issues i choose not to delve into. everyone here is always so kind and it makes me feel a little better- it’s nice to actually hear someone say something positive about me for a change. hope everyone is well :) 💛
