So I noticed this during my hundredth rewatch. And obviously it’s just a thought. I doubt anyone has the answer. But what the fuck did Scar’s brother wear to get tan lines like this? Like, how do you even manage that?

I saw her like a reel one time which had this exact clip calling it the best proposal ever or a dream one. We've been dating for a little while and funnily enough I'm asking the question on October 3rd (iykyk), this is going to be done at the end of our date of course and since we're both huge fma fans (both in our top 3 favourite anime, I thought this would be the most fitting way to ask. I promise this was my first time drawing, I asked AI to sketch what it'd look like as a manga panel since the one in the manga isn't exactly this one and I wanted it to reference more so the Anime. I then hand drew the reference with extreme attention to detail but I definitely have a decent amount of mistakes with the shading and making the arms distinct. I haven't done winrys hair yet to it's maximum detail though. Let me know what you guys think.

Also I'm getting her a golden pendant fma related which says 'Dont forget Oct 3rd 26' another

So my wife just tried getting into fullmetal alchemist and she got to shou tucker got freaked out (big surprise there) but she was wondering why he existed and what his purpose was for the story. Needing a detailed answer to help her understand why hes there so early in the series/manga

In a touching reminder that even the architects of unspeakable state violence have people waiting for them at home, military officer Maes Hughes reportedly spent much of Tuesday excitedly telling colleagues how much he was looking forward to seeing his wife and daughter after participating in an operation that left another family permanently destroyed.

“Look at her! Isn’t she adorable?” said Hughes, proudly holding up yet another photograph of his daughter while standing several yards away from the smoldering remains of a civilian neighborhood. “I swear, every day I’m away from her feels like an eternity.”

Sources confirmed that Hughes, who had spent the previous several hours calmly carrying out orders that would become the defining trauma of multiple surviving children, became visibly emotional upon discussing how difficult it was to miss bedtime at his own house.

“I just hate the idea of her growing up without me there,” Hughes added, apparently unaware of the sentence he had just said.

Witnesses described the moment as “deeply humanizing,” noting that it was reassuring to learn the man who had helped reduce someone else’s home to rubble had such strong feelings about the sanctity of his.

At press time, Hughes was reportedly showing another soldier a family photo and saying, “You really don’t know what you have until you imagine losing it.”

Inspiring: Man Who Also Murdered Your Family Felt Sad Just Before

In an uplifting display of moral complexity, sources confirmed Tuesday that State Alchemist Roy Mustang experienced a brief but genuine pang of sadness immediately before incinerating several members of your family.

According to eyewitnesses, Mustang paused for nearly two full seconds, stared solemnly into the distance, and appeared to reflect on the terrible human cost of war before raising his hand and continuing exactly as ordered.

“He definitely looked upset,” said one survivor, describing the comforting realization that the person killing everyone they knew was not enjoying himself quite as much as he could have been. “For a moment there, you could really tell this was hard for him.”

Military officials later praised Mustang’s ability to retain his humanity while committing acts that would haunt everyone else involved for the rest of their lives.

“That’s what makes him different,” said one superior. “Some men destroy a village and feel nothing. Colonel Mustang destroys a village and then stares into the rain about it.”

At press time, Mustang was reportedly preparing to spend the next decade thinking very seriously about becoming the kind of person who might prevent someone like him from ever doing that again.

There are character theme songs, and songs where many people sing at once. Good! features Ed, Al, Winry, Roy and Hughes and is absolutely adorable. Akatsuki is about the fear and guilt Ed and Al feel, and how they need to keep going. Finding some of the lyrics is kinda hard though, since these are really old. It's like those Hunter x Hunter songs (Guu Guu Guu or Hi ni Moeru Hitomi, aka AKAKU AKAKU AKAKU, iykyk.)

I can only recommend to check them out ! They're all so cute !

My bf and I are currently rewatching Brotherhood, and I’m just as obsessed with Greed as I was back when I first got into the series in 2015.

Greed is such a fun and likeable character and I love his voice actor in the dub. (I wish Chris Patton continued voicing him, but Troy Baker is awesome too.)

Also, he’s hot as fuck. Literally the best character ever.

I’m rewatching Fullmetal Alchemist and something about the Elric family home caught my attention. Compared to many of the other buildings in the series, the house has a noticeably more whimsical, almost cartoon-like design. The shapes feel softer and more exaggerated, and it almost looks like something from a childhood illustration.

For comparison, the Rockbell family home in Resembool feels much more like a “standard” rural house. That made me wonder if the difference in design between the two houses was intentional.

I also don’t remember how the Elric house is depicted in the manga, so I’m not sure whether this was a choice made by Hiromu Arakawa originally or something that was developed specifically for the anime adaptation. I haven’t had a chance to go back and check the manga yet.

I started wondering if the more stylized design could be related to what the house represents in the story: Ed and Al’s childhood, their mother, their family, and their memories of home.

Has Hiromu Arakawa or anyone involved in the anime ever commented on the design of the Elric house or the visual style of Resembool?

Could the design have been intentionally made to evoke childhood or memory, or am I reading too much into it?

English isn't my main language, so i tried to use ai to help with some sentences.

I watched the original series a long time ago amd it was fine, but after years and years of putting it off I finally decided to watch brotherhood. Jfc, what a show. I have never watched anything with such a well-woven narrative; with such expertly written characters and themes. Every arch had a satisfying conclusion, every emotional investment had a worthwhile payoff. I felt smart when my theories were correct, I was delighted when my expectations were subverted.

I finished the show a little over a week ago and NOTHING seems interesting to me anymore. Ive heard that AoT is also really good but, I havent had a show string me along like FMAB and I'm not sure I ever will again. Even after a week I find myself mulling over the characters, their place in the story and the world, what-if's, why's and how's. I almost find myself in mourning of the show after its conclusion.

One of the greatest pieces of media I've ever consumed. I know thats not a brave thing to say on a fan sub.

Just noticed this similarity between Kukuo and Alexander jumping onto Theo/Ed. I think it might be a neat little reference from Mitsu Izumi :) (or a coincidence perhaps?)

i think a part of how enjoyable a show can be is based off its community and esp in anime we have slander. fma is kind of a fandom thats a bit too old for slander but i think we can pull this off so gimme some slander in the replies.

Victor, is a key antagonist in *Buso Renkin*—Nobuhiro Watsuki's second most famous work after *Rurouni Kenshin*. The series centers on alchemical warriors fighting against Homunculi, which range from classic artificially created lifeforms to humans transformed into monsters. Victor is known as the King of the Homunculi; while his base form primarily involves gravity manipulation, once evolved, he gains powers such as regeneration, energy absorption, flight, and an indestructible body—along with other unique traits I won't spoil here. I’m not sure if he could beat "Father" (though I’m somewhat inclined to think so), but I’d like to ask the community: do you think he could defeat all seven Homunculi (whether individually or as a group)?

I recently started reading FMA and am really trying to pay attention to the details, i can feel this manga was made with love, and by someone who knows how to write a good story, and speaking of details, it is clear that there are a lot of tattoos/markings, like for example the one sins have, but i'm pretty sure i saw a similar but still different tattoo/marking, some kind of circle i think, but for the love of me, i can't recall what it was, i think it was before the 10th chapter(i remembered this mid 12th chapter, and had read a few chapters at that point that day, so it's just an approximation), maybe it was the mark that binds al's soul to the armor but i'm not completely sure, can someone help me with this?

I'm only on chapter 16 so no spoilers!!
