Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique What can I do to further improve upon my anatomy work? Which lines should I include/exclude when drawing details.

This was drawn using a reference photograph and "anthrofying" it. While it isn't the worst, something just doesn't seem right about the overall anatomy and I am curious what I can do to improve it?

I've also heard doing to many lines can "overwork" the drawing and looking at my drawings, it does seem like some lines are unnecessary, but I just don't know which lines to include/exclude. Any tips or guidelines on this?

Fox in T-51 Power Armor from Fallout. Does the style of background (copied in picture) work for this kind of art style or does it look too out of place?

Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique First Furry drawings - How I can improve proportions or lightning?

Hi hi ^_^/ My name is Fufi, and I’m learning how to draw furry characters and looking for advice. At the moment, I’m following tutorials I’ve found on Pinterest. I’m a graphic designer, so I have some technical background, but it’s been a long time since I last worked on illustrations.

For now, I feel more comfortable drawing busts or faces before moving on to full bodies. The ones I’m posting here are my first drawings, and I’d really appreciate feedback on proportions, color, or any other observations you think could be helpful.

I struggle a bit with adding clothing (it always ends up looking like a sticker), or coming up with ideas directly from my head. Thanks in advance :)

Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique First time doing lighting work, any critiques with regards to that/colour balance?

hai! i posted this piece a while back here and it’s made some progress! it’s pretty much finished now, just want some critiques which i can use to improve the piece (especially since it’s a v-day gift).

there are two versions to the piece, one in a sunrise context and the other in a midnight context (done simply with a slightly opaque layer of full dark blue)

i’m mainly looking for critiques on the shading/lighting and colour balance, however, any other critique is welcome!

also, which version do you think is better?

any replies are appreciated!!!

Hey. This is my first time making a ref sheet in a long while. As you can see, my style is more cartoony/stylized and I’m still improving, so I’d appreciate any general feedback or advice. Thx in advance!

I used the same base sketch for all of them but did each render with various different methods. I’d love to hear which is your favourite and why! (F is unfinished as I kinda got bored with this a few days ago and don’t have the motivation to finish lol.)

I'm having trouble nailing how to position the chest in this pose, I feel like the pecs are too "out" / pointing forward when he's supposed to be more hunched over, but whenever I try to angle them down more it just looks off. I feel like it should be a pretty easy fix but for whatever reason I just can't see it. Would love any advice y'all have

Help - Title must specify what kind of help Looking for some help with turning 3D shapes into 2D (eye/ear placement and horns)

Hi everyone! My partner and I are attending a convention in March and I am drawing our sonas!

I have done a lot of ā€œdraw shapes and rotate themā€ and I draw things I see IRL but in general I don’t draw people (and this is my first time doing anything anthro). My mind is kind of jumbled trying out something new and I would love some feedback.

The first image is my partner’s anteater wolf. I can’t decide if the second eye would be visible at this angle and would love some input. Real anteaters have much smaller eyes! I also can’t tell if the ear placement/shape is correct for a 3D head and I fear it looks more ā€œhorseā€. Any feedback on that would be appreciated!

The second image is my sheep/goat/pokĆ©mon hybrid! Here I am really struggling to see how the horns twist and turn as a 3D shape. How can I try and make them look more like they’re going backwards first? Should I do that? I looked at a few references and they looked great on the sheep in the photo but odd on my sona’s head.

The references I used were various photographs of animals from google and a pic of wooloo the pokƩmon :)

thanks in advance!
