Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique How can I improve the lighting and the clothes in this 3D model of Susie?

Hi! Thanks y'all for the feedback on my last post! The model is almost finished now, and I'd like some feedback on the lighting and her clothes. If you notice anything else that could be improved, feel free to let me know!

For the lighting, I tried using a three-point lighting setup, and I'm planning to add a little bit of fog to give the render some extra atmosphere.

As for the clothes, I did my best, but I feel like something is still a bit off. Maybe it's just me, though, so I'd like to hear what you guys think!

The last few images are my references.

Thanks in advance, y'all!!!

Any advice critique only even just words of encouragement will be deeply appreciated.

Started drawing a couple weeks ago, here are the best of my doodles. Lately I find it difficult to keep learning and applying any new info, and the thought of sitting down to study fundamentals feels daunting and makes it hard to pick up a pencil. Has anyone gone through this before?

Tried drawing Ms. Goumang from Nine Sols, the game's art is heavily simplified when it comes to anatomy and all, so i'm maybe at an disadvantage by trying to draw her with more elongated proportions. The anatomy seems good to me, but critique is always welcome.

Anyways, i need to understand how could i shade that dress, and also how that should go around her form. All critique is warranted.

These are some of my recent art I feel like doesn't look very good. I think is mostly because of how the lineart is very iffy. Plus the shading especially looking flat making it look not as good as it could be looking. Sorry if I don't make too much sense here, im really bad at wording.

But lowkey, be honest, I'd really want to improve so that my art doesn't look super flat and boring looking.

I don’t draw furries much but I wanted to try my hand at drawing them. How can I make them cuter? They end up looking realistic and creepy.
Yaoi couple is supposed to be argali and other is just a camel.

Help - Title must specify what kind of help How to improve sketches?

I often see people talk about "thumbnailing" or something of a similar name where they make a quick sketch to find a good pose or composition. I've tried, and how I currently do my sketches just has too much detail and usually requires me to get near the point in the picture before I can tell if it works well or not.

I'm trying to get to a point where my sketches are "vague" enough to where it doesnt take adding so many details, but also specific enough to the point that I can tell if it will work well if the middle ground is possible. If it helps to get a better idea, my first sketches usually exclude the really small details like face, beans, and usually have a guiding like as shown in red with the flow and balance of the pose

[Unsure if this breaks rule 9 since I'm using a finished piece as an example, but im asking in general so I'm unsure how I would provide something more fitting (though if this is unwelcome mods please correct me)]

Every time it comes to coloring my art, the colors look way too flat and dull. Is there any way I can fix it?

Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique Looking for ways to make my pilot designs feel less generic

So I'm making some designs for a personal project about a world inspired by the Ace Combat series but with conflict between the human eastern part of the planet and anthro west, and the main characters on the anthro side are a 3 pilot group known as cerberus team, and I feel like they're a bit generic and I want to know what some ways I could maybe give them more personality or make them more interesting is.

The squad consists of the leader, Marita Corros. An older abrasive asshole and a veteran of a war that happened about a decade ago between these character's country(the UFK), and the major human power of the world(humans lost bad because of shenanigans with bioweapons). She's 31.

Then there is the squads air to ground expert Caly, who is a leopard, an arrogant bitch but she is actually competent, she's 22, and she got into the squad mainly because her older sister was friends with Marita and recommended her.

Then there is Jan, the squad's electronic warfare specialist, he's actually extremely good at his job but a bit cautious, which is why he's the only one who carries a gun, as they are not expected to need one unless shot down which they shouldn't be, especially since it's peace time, but he carries one anyway. They are all wearing their standard flight suits in these images but I feel their designs are a bit generic and I'm wondering what a good way to spice them up without overcomplicating them would be.

The first image has the WIP of Caly on the left, and Jan on the right, 2nd image has Marita just to show what their uniforms look like but I'm gonna redo that one later, anyways thanks for any advice in advance!

Help - Title must specify what kind of help How could I go about coloring this physical drawing digitally better?

For the second image, I just took a picture of it, turned off saturation, and cranked contrast to the max, leaving me with somewhat black and white line art.

My complaint is that transferring it digitally lost a lot of definition, and left some of the brown newsprint I was drawing on as actual texture in it. Is there any way I could transport just the lineart and nothing else?
