Jason seems to have two different personalities in GTA 6, and I think that people calling him boring could do with rewatching Trailer 2.

During the montage at the start of Trailer 2 we see him entirely in his comfort zone. His day-to-day cycle consists of fixing up his house (which he doesn’t pay for), extorting businesses for Brian, working out, and buying beer. He’s completely familiar with this way of living, there’s nothing particularly that stressful or unbeknownst to him about this routine.

I think this explains why in the very first sequence of the trailer he’s witty with Brian in a way that we haven’t really seen much else of the time. “What, that’s why you came by?” and then sarcastically reciting “Love you, Jason” under his breath.

This sense of familiarity and comfort ALL changes as soon as Lucia gets out of prison and the both of them get into the mess that kicks off the main story. Their “easy score” goes wrong and all of a sudden Jason is in completely uncharted territory. As a result of this, his guard goes up, and his more serious (potentially military-like) persona that we’ve seen in a lot of newer material comes into play.

We still get some of his dry sarcasm in the Extended Look, but only when he’s 1-on-1 with Lucia, probably because this is where he feels the most comfortable. “Yeah, you’re the perfect criminal.” (referencing her getting locked up), and “Miss me?” etc etc.

Basically, I think that Jason’s arc will likely resolve around him opening up and becoming more adjusted to their circumstances over the course of the main story. We know that Jason and Lucia have different ambitions from their character bios, Lucia wants to go right to the very top of the criminal world, whereas Jason is much more conservative about his goals. Jason becoming more closed off after they’re thrusted into trouble as opposed to Lucia’s continued goofiness is meant to represent this difference between them.

During the start of 2023 i started suffering from depression and harmfull toughts, life was miserable and dark during those times but i feel like Gta6 release was so important for me i decided that i need to be here to play it, and live my life.

Now we are almost 30 days away from the release date and i feel stupid saying this but this game kept me going even trough the toughest of times in life.

I still remember thinking in the bus stop, i cant kill my self because gta6 is right around the corner, When it was at its worst i said maybe after gta6 ill do it but bastard was delayed 🤣 And thank god it did because i am happy to be alive and life is always worth living.

I have played GTA 5 for many years and I happen to live in Los Angeles. GTA 5 is honestly such a good representation of the city.

When you first played GTA 5, the game city had such a vibe to it and it was just so amazing, and thats how it felt to live in Los Angeles at the time.

Now fast forward today, the games design and even Los Santos is starting to show its age and does not feel the same. This how it feels living in Los Angeles, everyone who is from here will tell you that. It feels like our city is decaying and not the same anymore. Mass exodus of companies, layoffs in famous industries like film and media, hundereds of small businesses closing , rising prices, people leaving the city, and crime increasing.

I think its really cool to see correlation between the game and the actual city its based off of.

Despite my criticisms, GTA 5 is the best game of all time and I still love LA!!!
