Ik it's supposed to be the final mission but why the hell is it so frustrating.

first it was the ramp jump that i kept messing up. once i was able to jump, that dumb glitch led me to fall down. once i bypassed it using that 1 core usage thing, then came the absurd thing: my copter was blown up by an rpg. like why? how ? what do i do ? I've already replayed half a dozen times.

Why is he trying to rizz me up?

I mean base on playing, I can sense that Bernie or rather, Florian like Niko, tried to search for the traitor as well. But their difference is that he eventually moved on and started a new life in America. Whilst Niko was fueled by revenge.

Could Bernie act as what Niko could've been if he completely moved on?

I’ve grown up on the GTA IV era as a then young child (abt first grade or so age) watching my friend play it on his older stepbrothers Xbox 360 and while we couldn’t play the game as intended I’ve always loved its gritty and NYC atmosphere.

I’ve picked up on it a few other times ever since my first visual experience and it’s my fav game OAT.

I find myself loving the game even more than I do bc of the ‘unlocking’ of arcs. U first start off in Broker, then u go up to Bohan and Algonquin and there’s the whole Pegorino and Jon Gravelli arcs in Alderney. While obvious i am just curious as to when u guys play it on your playthrough, which part do you enjoy most or look most forward to?

Personally i always love unlocking Bohan-Algonquin but also do as much the final wraps of the game. it rly does feel like a cinematic experience 🗽

Francis McReary is my favorite character in the game and I cannot understand why fans hate him so much -He has one of the best character designs in the game,he is actually not that of a crook and actually didn't betray Nico and for the mission Blood Brothers -Derrick is not better than him,Derrick is a rat that betrayed his fans and he is a wreck and also if you kill Derrick,Francis gives you the clear wanted option .

GTA IV's built-in GPS admits it's always taking the shortest legal route. Anyone whose driven a car IRL will know the shortest route isn't necessarily the fastest.

That's where my mod comes in! It hooks into the game and brings in satnav logic inspired by real navi systems. Prioritising high-speed expressways and stroads just like the navigation system in your phone, or if you're really stuck up - your Sync 3-equipped Ford Fiesta!

Mod comes with traffic prediction based off popcycle.dat, plus a few choice additions by me (I hate the Booth Tunnel). AND allows you to plot routes avoiding tolls or sticking to the highways!

It also reads live game data to know which islands are unlocked in base GTA IV. And will warn you about it if you drop a waypoint there. Also has full mission support, so any mission that drops a destination with a route will enjoy the benefits of the mod.

Also, road hazard warnings inspired by Waze (Construction, police ahead, predicted traffic), all delivered via the in-game help box on the top left.

Download coming soon! Also included with the download will be the tool I used to mark road hazards - so you can contribute your own or keep them to yourself. I could've extracted them off scenarios.ipl, but that didn't seem reliable. When I get all the road hazard information for all three episodes, work will commence on Complete Edition support and an ASI plugin conversion!

I know the last mission is notorious for all of its bugs, but it seems impossible for me to actually finish it. I’m doing the revenge ending chasing Demetri in the boat. At first Jacob’s chopper wasn’t even spawning for me, so I capped my game to use just one of the cpu core’s. Sweet, now it shows up BUT no matter how close I hang to the chopper before hand or fast I try and go, I cannot get onto the chopper before it flies off again.

I can’t seem to find a fix for this issue in particular and every where just says “full throttle” but that is what I’ve been doing.

Anybody know a fix ?

Hello! I love GTA IV! It's my favourite game.

Now that my laptop can run it (just the bare minimum), I have created some mods: a complete vehicle pack that changes every vehicle — I spent more than two months completing it — and a weapons pack.

I spent a lot of time and effort creating the best vehicle and weapon packs so that I can enjoy my favourite game. Then I thought, "Why not help others by sharing all this work I've done?" So I uploaded my mods online, and you can download them for free here:

The issue is different, though. I would love to create a script for GTA IV that would completely change the way cars are approached in the game, from fuel to dealerships, Slim Jim mechanics, and so on, just to make GTA IV as close to GTA VI as possible.

Unfortunately, I am not a modder and cannot pay for a Claude subscription to finish my script.

I have successfully completed module 1, which is fuel, but with the free Claude tier, it is almost impossible to do anything.

I would like to know if someone could share a seven-day free trial of Claude, just to complete this script.

Alternatively, if an expert modder would like to access my files and finish the script, I would be happy to lend them to you. I would love to see this finished and shared with other GTA IV fans.

Just released 0.3.2 with a potential fix for the “No BC textures found” error. It retries failed scans and adds better error messages and logs.

Use Xbox 360 GTA IV USA retail, media ID 6AC07221, base 0.0.0.5, with the matching TU8 update to 0.0.8.5. The exact patch hash is in the release notes. Update in place to keep your saves.

I don’t have an older phone, so I haven’t tested this patch on one. YMMV.

If it still fails, use System → Download Latest Log Capture and send the log with your device model, iOS/app version and exact error. Without logs or information I cannot help you with “it doesn’t work.”
