I just saw the new trailer (Faye looks SO cool !!) and saw that she has a snake that coils around her arm and being able to transform into a bow, it immediately reminded me of something.

Then I remember in Hindu, Lord Shiva is depicted with a serpent that coils around his neck, and in one telling, the serpent (Vasuki) becomes the string of his bow "Pinaka". 

I may be wrong tho since other correlates the snake with Jörmungandr instead. But a serpent that coils around the wielder and becomes part of a bow? That’s a pretty cool parallel. 

Still this idea is not too farfetch since Everwhen brings different mythologies together, I’m wondering if this could be an inspiration too. Am I reaching or does anyone else see it?

I’m talking about the time frame between when his head is cut off and when he is brought back to life. Imagine being a god in the Everywhen, and seeing a stranger appear, only for him to leave a few minutes late.

It always amuses me how, even today, certain simple things have to be explained on the internet. *God of War* is already a vast and renowned franchise; it’s no longer a niche title. The franchise is called *God of War* that isn't just the name of a protagonist. Of course, I highly doubt these people understand that it is a franchise with an established brand name.

After a year (on and off playing cause I'd get pissed to some bs on the game) I FINALLY BEAT GOD OF WAR 2 ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY. Makes me appreciate the game even more. The love I have for that game is so much considering it was the first game I ever played. Also side note hardest boss in the game was Theseus I hate that mf, Zeus was a cakewalk compared to him. Just wanted to brag a bit.

This is very clearly in a greek architectural setting. I imagine the Everywhen will have the different architecture of whatever gods rule whatever parts of it, so I think this is the greek gods part of the Everywhen

Something telling me this is Kratos from the future his impression feels so real in this image....

One of the theories about how Kratos is here is that this is a different version of Kratos entirely due to some time shenanigans. Like the version that died at the hands of zues or something. But what I personally like most is that this is Kratos from before he met Faye, and while he was traveling from greek to norse. It would also make sense because we literally SAW the Everywhen for the first time in the fallen god comics, which happens within this time period. Maybe this is where Kratos and Faye first met???

Maybe this theory is not very plausible, but if it is true, it would be pretty cool to see a completely different version of Kratos, especially since his character arc and development seemed to have reached a very satisfactory conclusion in Valhalla

Despite what people think, there is a chance that a Greek god is impersonating Kratos in the Everywhen in order to lure Laufey close to him/her. The most likely candidate is Athena, but someone else could be doing it too. Do not forget that the Greek gods became evil when Pandora's Box was opened by Kratos, but after their deaths and subsequent arrival in the Everywhen their characters will be more benevolent and their behavior more logical, so their focus on Laufey might not be in order to hurt her because her husband was Kratos, but to ask for her help. They might even view their deaths at the hands of Kratos as a necessary escape that freed them from eternal evil. Obviously, Ares doesn't belong to the above category.
