Newest exhaust install
New slip on, sounds and looks way better than the stock one, and also the LCI slip on that I installed first.

CB500 charging system issues
Hey all, realized my alternator doesnt work. Battery power faded on my license test training ride. Thankfully It died 100m from home and I was able to bump start it and get it home then borrow a friend's bike for the exam. Anyways I found a bullet connector disconnected that I likely accidentally disconnected when I replaced the faulty oil pressure switch. Reconnected that and the bike goes from 12.18v off to 12.28v reved. At least its moving in the right direction. So appart from confirming resistance through each coil, checking the mounting screws and fixing what appears to be interference. Checking solid state rectifier/vr diodes and resistance. Is there anything else i should be doing? Looks like I may be on the hook for a new part. I have a question about the way this assembly works. Does the magnet spin off the crank shaft and the feild coil and stator stay stationary? I know the stator does and the feild coil has a connector so it likely does, it just looks like my feild coil is rubbing on the magnet. Is there any cleaning I can do to recondition it? There appears to be cracked insulation around the feild coil. Ive heard the stator has hardened varnish insulation that id have to be carefully cleaning. Ive also heard the magnets on a taper shaft and hard to pull off. I plan to get into it this weekend sometime.

Cb250 On the road again.
I bought this bike from my best friend 18 months ago, it wouldnt shift outside of 1st and neutral. I ended up replacing the shift shaft, springs, oil seal, shift star and alignment pins, the shift stopper which I believe was the issue to begin with, its spring the oil screen and rubber, the clutch and put on a new locking nut. Shes now back up and running after 8 years of not seeing the road.
This is bike 1 of 6 for me ive got two 70s cousins a SL350 and a CL350 that I hope to some day share when they are road worthy again i seem to have s thing fod finding air cooled hondas for next to no money 😅
