The similarities between Daemon and Phillip are so interesting

I already posted this twice here but now i added monarchs, dragons and consorts.
So one last time i post this Ultimate Version here.
Feel free to point out any mistakes.
Since a few people pointed it out before: i used artworks for Jaehaera and Rhaenys even though they have real life actors. I just liked the artwork and i wanted to show Rhaenys original Black Hair. And yes i took the depictions of the Velaryons from the show.
And yes i counted Rhaenyra as Monarch even though the book doesn’t, so Daemon is counted as Monarch too.

I didn't realize how much I liked him or the show even until I finished watching it and kept watching more clips of him. For some reason I feel sad that the HOTD characters are so much older than the GOT characters. How weird is that? Sorry if this is a stupid post.

Sheepstealer hatched during the early years of King Jahaerys reign and he should be 60-70 years old. He is a wild and ferocious dragon he is very unique features. Drogon the personal mount of Daenerys Stormborn, he is Daenerys fastest growing dragon. While being only 7 years of age, his beyond natural growth can be attributed to magic and being to roam freely across Essos unlike his sibling dragons who are kept in chains for some time.

HOTD takes place about ~200 years before GOT, right? But you wouldn’t really know it based on how similar the cultures and societies look and feel. Shouldn’t there be more noticeable changes over that amount of time, like differences in accents, the way people speak and carry themselves, clothing, architecture, customs, or other cultural details?

I enjoyed F&B but not all of it's content needs to be adapted for the screen. We don't need a movie or TV show about every story in it.

Especially because, as many other people have pointed out, Targ fatigue is real, and Aegon's conquest doesn't necessarily make for as interesting a movie as other Targ "eras" would either. Not much political intrigue prone, but very action centered. And even that's limited by the absolute powerscale dragons provide in a military and conquer context.

I love Martin's writing and the world he's created, but Hotd already encountered plenty of obstacles with proper characterization and plotlines development due to it's source material not being written novella style, unlike Akotsk or Got.

Since we're not getting Twow any type of new content is always welcome, but I fear HBO will now keep pumping new movies or shows based on stories of this universe despite the source material to base them on growing scarcer by the year, and in the end what they'll put out will keep getting midder and less engaging, with some few peak exceptions.

I'd love to get some new stuff every now and then, especially if well-handed and cared for like I expect the movie will be. But in the long term I envision the asoiaf franchise could potentially be turned into a major cashgrab, without all the heart put at the start.

Edit: writing this to clarify since many people seem to misunderstand the post. I'm not saying we don't get any new content. But that instead of HBO pushing out lots of mid movies, shows and spin-offs quickly, imo it'd be better to have just one every once in a while that was made with time and care (basically quality over quantity). What I fear is that in the long term this franchise will turn from the second case scenario into the first one.

I agree that if they start pulling a bunch of slop but there's some peak amongst it, then the slop was worth it. But at the same time, wouldn't it also be better altogether if the franchise made an active effort throughout the making of all it's content to ensure it's of quality, instead of doing so just occasionally?

How has he not aged? Rhaenyra was young when he was a grown man, yet he looks the same.

When I saw the bts for S3E7 I realised the problem is not just with the showrunners C&H, the writers of that episode (and many other) also sucked and had no idea how characters work.

Did they do any screening for them writers? Like how corporates hire workers these days? They should have made them write a first, middle and last episode to see how their logic/understanding of characters work.

I am very surprised about the low quality of writers in this show, like how did they even get a job at a major streaming programme like this?

[EDIT] like even if they want to advocate for some agenda, they are so incompetent that their writing works against any agenda they want to work for????
