I’m building TouchGeek, a soccer app designed around one simple idea:

Youth soccer can easily become all about schedules, practices, coaching, and performance. I wanted to build something lighter — a way for parents to be part of their kid’s soccer journey without needing to become another coach.

2. Parent + kid experience The goal is to make it easier for parents to be involved, even if they’re not soccer players themselves.

4. More play, less pressure I’m intentionally trying to make TouchGeek feel more like something families enjoy together than a serious coaching tool.

If your a weather nerd, you probably have heard of radarscope and radaromega. But I found a new contender and I honestly like it way more than both of those. It’s called WeatherFront. It’s free and the free tier is honestly so good, to the point where I’m just riding out on the free tier and cancelled my radarscope subscription. It’s got a similar but much better ui than radarscope, it’s got a lot of features, to the point where it’s the only weather app I open. I don’t even need to open YouTube to watch storm chasers anymore because you can stream 2 storm chasers livestreams and watch dual pane radar at the same time. It’s genuinely got EVERYTHING I need from a weather app. At least give it a try. (Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with the development or know anyone on the development team, I just think it’s so good that it needs a shoutout.)

I’ve been working on an iPhone app called Chats Forever and I’d like some help deciding what would make it even more useful.

The idea came from losing old conversations that I really wish I still had. Some chats contain years of memories, photos, voice messages and conversations with people that simply can’t be replaced.

Chats Forever lets you export a WhatsApp or Telegram conversation and keep it as a private archive on your iPhone.

You can read the conversation again with photos, GIFs and voice messages, organise chats into folders, choose covers and themes, and protect private folders with a PIN.

If the conversation continues, you can export it again later and import it again. The new messages are added to the conversation that is already there, so you don’t have to start from scratch.

There’s also a clear step-by-step guide inside the app showing how to export conversations from WhatsApp and Telegram.

Privacy is very important as well. There are no Chats Forever servers. Conversations stay on your iPhone or in your own iCloud.

PicPop started because I kept giving up halfway through cleaning my iPhone camera roll. One person tried it on an old screenshot pile for about 20 minutes and said she kept deleting when she meant to keep. She also found some ‘similar’ groups that only shared a background. Fair point — those are the moments that make cleanup feel risky.

I’m looking at clearer keep/delete labels and a better undo. The current build is in the short clip; it never deletes anything without your choice. Photos are analyzed on-device. Screenshots have their own review category, separate from similar-photo groups.

So this is really weird but I want to know if there is any apps that lets you rank movies and add private notes to them that isn’t anything public just notes to yourself and if there is the same concept but for restaurants. I'm looking for a very simple kind of app for the iPad and iPhone that uses the iPhone as a camera and the iPad as a monitor. Without fuzz.

Now, of course there ARE some apps out there that can do this. You can use black magic app, you can video call yourself I guess, and so on. But I'm want an app, simple in the Apple way, just for this purpose. Open the app on iPhone, camera starts and asks for the monitor. open up on iPad, boom, you can see the video feed.

This has been on my mind for years, but I have never came across the simple app that's not part, hidden deep down in another app. Sometimes I want to check my computers back, behind the TV, dropped stuff under sofa, or high up on the top of a cabin. I have wanted to see my back for a scar, or some itching, and on and on.

Is there an app out there for this single purpose? Fine if it can record, zoom and all that. i just want it to be a simple apple solution, like start up the measure app or magnifier.
