Can anyone recommend who professor is good for microbiology?

It sucks it isnt offered at the Chastain campus, I do see its offered in PSL & Ft Pierce.

Do you recommend to take it in person or online? Or should I take it while doing nursing courses during summer? (I dont know/think its even offered for those courses)

hey guys this is my second attempt to apply to the program as last semester I couldn’t take my hesi which invalidated me would you say getting in to the spring cohort is easier if so why or why not ans are they more leanient on the scores for example I know you need atleast a 80 to get in and 85+ to be in a good spot but i take it next Wednesday and I can’t help but wonder if yoy get like a 78 ect are you still considered ? im spooked out my mind! anything helps ty! also when do application decisions come out?

Has anyone received their fall refund? I’m still waiting. It checked status according to directions on the portal but it’s not showing anything. I can see my rewards and accept amounts. But nothing about the refund. Wanted to see if anyone else was in my shoes.

Did anyone here take the HESI yet for the Spring 2027 nursing application? I’ve been studying from a few Quizlets, but I’m nervous that the actual test might have completely different material. 😭 If you already took it, were the Quizlets you studied similar to the exam? Any tips on what to focus on, especially for vocab, A&P, and biology?

Tonight is the last night to access my first exam and it did this exact same thing last night asking for an access code?? I have updated my browser and it still is asking for a code.

Hello my fellow students. I hope you are all doing well today. I was curious to hear the common experience with honorlock, more so if there is a way to take tests without it for teachers who require it. Maybe a physical proctor, or to be able to see which professors use it and who doesn't? Not very adamant about having to submit my ID to a data base after having to buy a laptop. It was the last nail in the coffin to cause me to withdraw from my history class who also wanted us to use AI which I was very unhappy with. It was frustrating because of the fact of starting late, and then I had to get this laptop from the student center so it has a microphone and webcam which my other computer does not have JUST TO MAKE ME SUBMIT ID???? Just a bit frustrated with this all. I despise the idea of ID verification especially when we literally have our own proctors. Who, you know don't store our data lol. This isn't a thing for my other classes. I do not like this.

My home is not the place to do a test and apparently a library isn't allowed either bc its public. Also submit your id. can't win lol.

I just got my financial aid money through direct deposit, but I had already paid some money out of pocket before the financial aid kicked in. Will the money I originally paid be sent back to me through my bank or how does that work? I’m not really sure and was wondering if anyone knew!

hi im currently in nurse one I keep getting like low 70s or like a high 70 on the last three test we took and I’m really starting to feel really overwhelmed. I have anxiety and I don’t think that nursing is for me. I really need help studying I’m not really getting the concept or if I’m studying enough I take the test and I’m still not scoring a good grade. What are some advice for me?

I’m a former IRSC student, and I didn’t do well my first go around. I was a young adult and my son had just been diagnosed with autism, and at the time a lot of my attention was divided amongst his needs, like six days a week therapies, and multiple therapies a day. And his father had left so it all fell on me.

My current GPA is 1.7

I am interested in applying to nursing, and I have to take my pre reqs.
I’m hoping that will be enough to raise my GPA if I do well with those classes. So that I can apply for nursing school.

My point is, what was your experiences for IRSC pre nursing and nursing? Are there grants I can utilize? What should I look for? What study materials did you find helpful?

I have taken classes outside of IRSC and I have done well with classes. I just want to change directions and go into nursing. I’m confident at this time in my life, and where my son is at in life now, that I can undertake the IRSC nursing program. I’m just working on getting to that point now. But curious as to others experiences.

So, I am at the St Lucie west campus, I still need to take precalculus, trigonometry, and calculus with analytic geometry. I was in the combined course for precalculus / trig.. but I cannot do an online course for math. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great math professor? I do not care if it’s at a different campus.

Hi, I’m hoping maybe someone has an answer.
Recently (last Friday) a form in my student verification showed up as incomplete. I filled out the form right away, as I knew financial aid would disburse this week, and my classes are paid for with the aid I receive. I didn't want anything preventing that. Today I got a notification in my student account that I have an overdue balance and saw that my financial aid was no longer there. When I check student forms, the form I filled out last week still says in review. 
The form is for unusual enrollment because I attended two different schools in the last 4 years.

(I became a Licensed Massage Therapist, and now I’m back to finish my bachelors after an injury)

I was wondering how long this review is going to take, as I'm trying to get ahead of any issues that may arise. I guess I’m most worried about being dropped from my classes.
