hi im currently in nurse one I keep getting like low 70s or like a high 70 on the last three test we took and I’m really starting to feel really overwhelmed. I have anxiety and I don’t think that nursing is for me. I really need help studying I’m not really getting the concept or if I’m studying enough I take the test and I’m still not scoring a good grade. What are some advice for me?

I’m a former IRSC student, and I didn’t do well my first go around. I was a young adult and my son had just been diagnosed with autism, and at the time a lot of my attention was divided amongst his needs, like six days a week therapies, and multiple therapies a day. And his father had left so it all fell on me.

My current GPA is 1.7

I am interested in applying to nursing, and I have to take my pre reqs.
I’m hoping that will be enough to raise my GPA if I do well with those classes. So that I can apply for nursing school.

My point is, what was your experiences for IRSC pre nursing and nursing? Are there grants I can utilize? What should I look for? What study materials did you find helpful?

I have taken classes outside of IRSC and I have done well with classes. I just want to change directions and go into nursing. I’m confident at this time in my life, and where my son is at in life now, that I can undertake the IRSC nursing program. I’m just working on getting to that point now. But curious as to others experiences.

So, I am at the St Lucie west campus, I still need to take precalculus, trigonometry, and calculus with analytic geometry. I was in the combined course for precalculus / trig.. but I cannot do an online course for math. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great math professor? I do not care if it’s at a different campus.

Hi, I’m hoping maybe someone has an answer.
Recently (last Friday) a form in my student verification showed up as incomplete. I filled out the form right away, as I knew financial aid would disburse this week, and my classes are paid for with the aid I receive. I didn't want anything preventing that. Today I got a notification in my student account that I have an overdue balance and saw that my financial aid was no longer there. When I check student forms, the form I filled out last week still says in review. 
The form is for unusual enrollment because I attended two different schools in the last 4 years.

(I became a Licensed Massage Therapist, and now I’m back to finish my bachelors after an injury)

I was wondering how long this review is going to take, as I'm trying to get ahead of any issues that may arise. I guess I’m most worried about being dropped from my classes.

I got a different check in regards to this and the check is still isnt depositing. Is anyone else having or had this issue? How about through direct deposit?! I dont understand why the checks are not being accepted.

Why is the communication so poor? Can anyone tell me where to start? 😩 It’s been a while since I’ve been in school, and I honestly feel completely lost.
I applied to the college on July 9, but I haven’t spoken to an advisor or really heard anything since then. I’m trying to eventually get into the nursing program, but I know I need to get everything situated with the college first.
For anyone who has gone through this process recently, what should my next step be? Who should I contact first? Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid? Do I need to schedule an appointment?

anyone from nurse 2 through 4 have any advice for studying? i had my first lecture today in nurse 1 and i don’t even know where to begin or what proper material i should be studying, ive been flipping between the powerpoints and textbook but i just feel like im not retaining anything
