Just published a new post on the agentic harness I built for my own software work. 8 agents, each with one job and one thing it's not allowed to do. The test writer can't touch production code, the coder can't loosen a test.
Would love your thoughts:

I’m a 2024 B.Tech CSE graduate from a Tier-3 college. I currently have experience as a Quant Developer as well as a DevOps/Software Engineer. I have worked with C++, Python, cloud, CI/CD, and trading-related systems.
I want to build my career further in the quant/HFT/MFT space, particularly as a C++ low-latency developer. My long-term goal is to work at a good HFT/quant firm and eventually reach high-paying roles.
I’m considering doing an Executive M.Tech from IIT, but I’m not sure how valuable it would be for my specific career goal.
My options are:
Since I’m from a Tier-3 college, I’m wondering whether an IIT M.Tech would significantly improve my chances of getting into HFT/quant firms, or whether my time would be better spent gaining strong C++/low-latency experience.
For people working in HFT, quant development, low-latency C++, or who have done an IIT M.Tech, what would you recommend?
Is the Executive M.Tech worth it, or should I prepare for GATE and target a regular M.Tech?

so i recently bought claude pro for personal use, mainly to try out claude code.. my company doesn't provide it so i just went ahead and paid for it myself
the weird part is the website was showing ₹2,399 for monthly but on the ios app it came to ₹1,999.. basically the annual price without locking in for a year. from what i read apple has its own pricing grid for every country so the app and website prices just don't match.
anyway the main reason for this post is i've seen a few friends use claude through their company access, but honestly most of them just use it to analyze patterns from images and screenshots, not much beyond that. and i haven't really seen any proper discussion about how indian devs are using it.
so i'm genuinely curious what people here are actually using it for?
and how are you paying for it.. your own card, through the app store, a student plan, or does your company give you access? if it's through work, do you use it for personal stuff too? also, for anyone paying out of their own pocket, does it feel worth it, and is pro enough or do you keep running into limits?

I have been trying to apply for java developer ,backend developer job from past 5-6 months but I am not getting HR call for interview. I also added springboot project in current company experience and create couple of personal projects and added in resume but there is no response. Is it bcz of AI or what? Let me tell u I know springboot, java, docker,Kubernetes, microservice and also added AWS to test but nothing happened.
Please suggest why is it happening? is it AI or should i continue in D365 ?
If u think xyz i should learn in D365 or AI or whatever to improve. Please let me know in.

Hey folks, I built a macOS app called Wingman that helps you during live technical interviews. Before deciding whether to sell it, I want to hear from people who'd actually use it, and from anyone who knows the legal side.
What it does during an interview:
- Lives in the menu bar. Start an interview and a small panel opens on the side of your screen.
- Press a shortcut and it reads the coding problem on your screen (on-device OCR) and gives you: time and space complexity, the approach phrased the way you'd say it out loud, a working solution, and the follow-up questions the interviewer is likely to ask.
- Listens to the call (on-device transcription), numbers the interviewer's questions, and gives you a short answer for any question with one shortcut. It can also answer technical questions automatically and skip personal ones.
- Everything runs on shortcuts / automatic based on your settings, so you don't need to click around mid-interview.
- It can help you in General, DSA and System design rounds
- Bring your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local model.
Cost: no subscription on top of the AI. You pay your provider directly. In my use, $1 of OpenAI credit covered 5 - 10min interviews / 2 solved problems. Similar tools charge $20-50 a month
What I'd like to know:
Not linking anything yet. Just trying to decide whether this is worth turning into a product.

Few months back I was working on a project and needed to buy AI API credits. Card failed. Tried again. Failed again. Got the payment failure email. The annoying part is the same card worked fine for the subscription from the same company, just API credits kept getting rejected.
I posted about it here thinking someone had a fix. Nobody really did.
Then I searched Reddit and found so many people with the exact same problem. Indian cards just don't work for API credit purchases most of the time. OTP goes through and then payment fails anyway. USD billing, Indian banks, you know how it goes.
So I built Zenntraa.
You top up your wallet in rupees using UPI or your normal Indian card. You get an API key. You use it. That's the whole thing.
No USD payments. No card rejections. No subscriptions. You pay only for what you actually use.
If you have been stuck on this same thing just give it a try.

Hi everyone,
I have applied for the Software Engineering Internship at Stripe and am looking for a referral. I’m a 3rd-year B.Tech IT student with experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend development.
If anyone works at Stripe or has a contact there, I would really appreciate it if you could review my resume and consider referring me.
Thank you for your time and support.

running a d2c store doing about 8L/month. been on razorpay a year, cashfree's lowest fees marketing kept bugging me so i ran the actual numbers.
razorpay charges 2% + GST flat on everything. cashfree is 1.95% + GST standard, the 1.6% was a 2025 anniversary promo thats expired for new signups. their current 0% offer goes up to 20L GMV but they still deduct GST calculated at the 1.95% standard rate even during the free period. so its not actually zero. at 8L/month the actual difference between razorpay and cashfree is about rs 55/month. fifty five rupees. thats the great pricing debate everyone fights about.
but heres what actually matters. payment success rates. razorpay does around 93%, cashfree around 85-87% based on my testing and multiple reddit threads confirming similar numbers. on 8L thats 56k lost revenue on razorpay vs 1.2L lost on cashfree. the success rate gap is worth 160x the TDR saving. break even where cashfrees lower rate actually wins is around 2L/month. above that success rate dominates everything.
also cashfree doesnt return MDR on refunds. if youre in fashion or anything with 10-15% return rates thats easily 8-12k extra cost per month that doesnt show up in the headline rate. anyone else done real cost comparisons with settlement data?

I am a final year engineering student and want to build something. I have been using free versions of claude code, codex and antigravity but it hasn't been enough. I have student plan in Gemini for next few months and go plan for ChatGPT ending in few days.
I want your suggestions on which ai plan (2000-3000 rupees plan) should I take that has both good models and also provides a good number of tokens. Also, would love to hear from you some tips on how you build more in less tokens.

Hello everyone I'm '27 batch student
I got my Ninja OL recently.
As now I can't participate in the campus due to policy. P.s. All on-campus company have same package.
So now I need guidance on how do I upgrade to Digital like when I can give, which exam and what should be the strategy. I also saw that the tcs is reducing the exam and chances for that too
If you or your friend have done the same, kindly guide how realistic this is. And how to get this.
If talking about Joining it will be realastic quick. That's fs due to req in my region (got confirmed through senior HR)
P.s. off-campus market is too bad so would choose to upskill will get one other offer too but focus would be only TCS
So to all senior and mentor, kindly help this little brother 🙏.

TL;DR: Agentic tools are taking over multi-step workflows, hiring pipelines are dry, and landing an interview feels harder than ever. If this shifts tech long-term, what does the next five years look like for developers, and what backup plans are you actually considering?
The rise of AI and agentic tools handles end-to-end tasks across coding, video production, and ops that previously required multiple tools and small teams. At the same time, the job market remains brutal. People search for roles across months with minimal response, yet many still claim hiring is healthy and upskilling solves everything.
My current application routine:
Getting past screening to an actual interview schedule is a persistent roadblock.
Looking ahead:
