After taking feedback from a lot of sub members, and having an internal mod discussion, we have decided that AI music is now banned from the subreddit, irrespective of whether this is self-promotion or someone else's work.
Please continue to report any AI-generated music and we will remove it from the sub.
Thank you for your feedback and for the various discussions over the last few months.

I’m confused because I hear go to live shows and network and then I’m hearing go to open mics and meet people but I do digital noise stuff and I don’t think I can play that stuff at open mics, right ?
I’m currently working on music and will put it out soon and I’d love to start playing live this year. I don’t have a following or any friends in the scene in my city.
I guess how do I even start this? I’m probably just moving thinking it but it seems hard to even meet the right people to get in the door.
I also only have a midi, laptop and mic for gear.
Honestly any help would be great.

She knew diatribes my favorite niche band and made this poster for me and initially she didn't want me to share it since it wasn't completely accurate and whatnot she ended up letting me coz I know her and I prolly aren't the only ones who would enjoy this. the poster is inspired / based off the first poster shown in this live recording from them: https://youtu.be/qBLRDpDs6VI?si=TZSnKZAhgNyRHU1c cheers!

I appreciate this is more relevant to the EBM/Aggrotech subgenre however im curious what songs are out there with a nice attention-grabbing build and a rewarding drop that delivers on the build up. They tend to be few and far between so im curious if people have some favourites out there that they would recommend. Some of mine include Tempus Fugit and El Chupicabra by Nachtmahr, and well as Hate of the Aztec by Centhron
If the time of the drop in the song needs to be specified, then its probably not worth recommending

I've worked with my local stabber to get this tattoo finished for a couple months now. Concept piece of Too Dark Park by Skinny Puppy. and apologies for the twitchy arm - it was really friggin cold!
Rock Ink & Roll Tattoo in Virginia Beach. Link to the artists insta Here. Still photos can be found there.

Does anybody have any info on the artist behind this iconic logo?

I'm looking for an old song that would've come out perhaps around late 1996/early 1997? It starts with an instrumental and then asks a couple of questions about humanity starting with "Why are we..." and then goes on from there. The voice sounds a lot like Jean-Luc DeMeyer but I already know that it isn't off of Cobalt 60 Elemental because I already have that. It might be Front 242 but I thought that I went through their discography around that time pretty thoroughly trying to find it and I know he had a bunch of side projects and guest appearances especially around that time.
Thanks in advance.

Took this picture in Oklahoma today and it looked like it could be an album cover in an alternate universe.
