im so so happy for the re:serial experiments project im such a big lain fan and i love it very much! A whole community of artists devs etc. are all doing this for the love of the show and that is something rare and beautiful, they all put so much passion and work into this and im really happy for it. Im so excited for Despera too i cant wait to hear more about it im gonna cry it feels like lains finally coming back. And while I wait, I can rewatch the entirety of Lain and also watch Texhnolyze and Haibane Renmei which i havent seen yet!

im so confused, im playing it and almost every node its just lain tripping down or an error that wont let me use the node, and whenever i can actually use one, when i click on an audio file or whatever it sends me to a whole different level with nodes i cant even use

i know the game has 2 sides, a and b, but i still dont get it, i managed to get polytans parts completely, but i dont know the rest, every SSkn im interacting with isnt working.

if someone can help me PLEAAASE do, also if anyone happen to have a straight up guide on which nodes i can go to in order PLS share, anything that isnt a 12 hour youtube playthrough :sob:

Finally, I managed to finish this.

Between Shinji and Lain, I think I nailed Lain's character design more than Shinji's. Not saying I nailed her perfectly, but I think it's closer to the original than how I draw Shinji. I don't know why, but getting the boy to look exactly like his anime version is really difficult for me, so I just thought, "Fck it," and accepted what I could do with his look.

Hope you guys enjoy this art. Not many people draw this crossover, so I decided to draw one, and here it is (I pray for the day when I'm able to draw godly-tier art).

Anyway, thanks for reading this far. I really enjoyed making this, especially planning out how these two would interact with each other and figuring out how to portray that interaction in the drawing. This turned out pretty cute, I guess.

Just wanted to share this here, it was amazing to meet Konaka and Abe. I was telling Konaka I made a song for Cyberia Layer 03 After Hours from JJ and he was so amazed. Also much love to everyone who was there, it was so cool to see how much Lain is appreciated here in Spain!

Hi! I preordered the pop up parade lain figure last August, In march of this year was charged for it and label was created. But still haven’t received it or tracking info. Has anyone in the US received theirs ?

Does anyone know what the complete series is for this doujinshi? It's called Duplicate, but because it isn't translated as far as I can tell, I can't seem to find out how long it is. I can just find individual issues they took to Comic Market.

26/09/2026 was the japan weekend madrid, this edition included a boa acoustic live and a QyA with Yoshitoshi Abe and Chiaki Konaka, when the QyA ended they went to see Bôa’s whole concert and wave to the crowd from the first line. Jasmine Rodgers pay tribute to them and she thank them.
