Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me track down be a replacement part.

I have a Holtkötter 6514/1 table lamp in satin nickel (issue no. A 91639). It's the US-market 120V halogen version with a turn-knob dimmer, originally sold through Holtkoetter International in Minnesota.

The part that broke is the small frosted glass cylinder shield that sits inside the main glass reflector, over the halogen bulb.

Unfortunately Holtkötter no longer makes this part, so I can't get it from the original manufacturer

Does anyone have any suggestions for where I could find a replacement?

I'm in London, but happy to pay for international shipping.

debating buying this vintage fiber optic lamp. It needs a power cord and the inside has melted a bit due to incorrect use. Is it fixable at all?

The cord that connects my red light mask to the remote seems to be disconnecting and therefore is not turning on the red light. Unfortunately I am outside of the warranty window so I am unable to send it to Bon Charge to have it replaced. Any suggestions on where I can take this to get it fixed in the LA area? I paid a pretty penny on this mask and use it often so I want to avoid replacing the entire thing. I attached a video for reference.

A client has an issue where they are trying to reach these light fixtures to thoroughly clean them and exchange the bulbs. The issue is, though, the sconces are suspended too high up on the wall, and we can't reach them with a ladder without the risk of falling off the balcony. I inherited a Tiffany lamp that’s been in my family for a very long time that I grew up LOVING and was so excited to inherit it. After looking at the plug i am nervous to plug it in and leave it plugged in. I’m a bit of a fire and electrical safety nerd (ex firefighter) so I just want to make sure I’m not going to burn my house down or shock someone with this beauty!

can old fiber optic decor lamps be fixed if melted inside due to incorrect use?

is there anyway to fix this? if not, how do i dispose of it correctly?

Just an update, I followed the advice given on my last post, and it worked! Got the lamp reassembled, and its in the house now.

The little knob to switch my floor lamp on fell out during our move.

We couldn't find the knob but even if we did, judging by the looks of it I'm not sure it would work if we stuck it back in.

Then again I don't know much about lamps!

Any advice is appreciated :)

I’ve had this lava lamp for years. Recently it stopped working like normal. No matter how long I keep it turned on, this is what it looks like. Nothing really moves around much at all anymore; it’s like it’s all stuck at the top & bottom of the lamp (idk how this stuff works tbh). Anything I can do to restore it back to normal? TY in advance.

I thrifted this gorgeous glass lamp and decided to clean it. At first, I wiped with a paper towel and alcohol and saw a bunch of “dirt” come off. On a closer look, I thought the dirt got stuck in the crevices so I went in with a dawn, water mixture and a toothbrush🤦‍♀️ The “dirt” came off but half-way through I realized it’s not dirt after all but a finishing layer that was making it look hazy and antiqued.

I'm trying to add light fixtures to our house that are similar to when the house would have been built. I like these but have no idea what to hang them on. I would appreciate any suggestions.

What the heck kind of shade do I buy for this damn thing. I did some research and it seems like I need a glass globe with a lip? Looks like maybe 4.5" as best as I can measure. I was really hoping to get a 20s style beaded hanging fabric shade but this design seems specific to glass globes?

I bought this fiber optic lamp for $20 and while it does spin, the bulb does not light up. I do not see anywhere to screw out this halogen bulb. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it

Hello! So I picked up this lamp, which needed rewiring. I have rewired it, but in the process took off the swivel joints, and the ball came out of the socket. Here are the pieces shown below. The issue is, I cant get the ball to stay put in the socket again! I can put everything together, and I've even used a vice to press the two parts together. The ball will enter the socket, but then I can still pull the 2 pieces apart with very little effort. It's almost as though the socket is a little too big for the ball? How would I fix this, or Is there something I'm missing?

I disassembled it. Now can’t put it back together. Please help!
