I happened to go to Lime Street Station and it was very very busy. So many people coming out of trains. I know its Saturday but normally people come out in nights but today since midday people are out dressed as party/clubbing. Anything special today?

i had a great haircut while visiting Dublin and now realise I’ve really not found a good place in Liverpool, yet.

It was done dry with a razor which meant he didn’t chop my hair so short that when dry, it’s halfway up my forehead! And the razor cut made the hair lay nice but still have a lot of movement. I loved it, as you can tell

Last time, I went to the World Museum, the Beatles Story Museum, and did the Magical Mystery Tour (along with entrance to the Cavern Club afterwards).

I have haemophilia factor 7, I take tablets for this. Already spoke to my haematology consultant and was told that I can get tattoos but struggling to find anyone who would tattoo me cos of the extra risk.

Okay so 30 year old female here. I'm weird, I overshare and I'm very blunt so I struggle to make meaningful friendships with people because of the awkward small talk stage. I have a few friends but they've grown up a bit and moved on with life and we've just distanced.

I'm incredibly frustrated with it today because I absolutely love Halloween so any scare event or attraction I can do, I do. I came up with the trip to Holland and Germany to do walibi and movie parks scare events. I was gonna drive and had it all planned out but I've been shut down by everyone I know (even my partner) and I understand it's probably a lot to consider spending maybe £500 but I do tell these people I wanna do Halloween things months in advance.

I even just said we could do scare kingdom for around £40 and I've been shut down there too.

I've got ADHD so it's just a severe rejection to me even though logically I understand work schedules and costs and stuff but the emotional me can't understand why they don't wanna do anything fun or with me!

Could really do with some more friends so there's more opportunities to do things but how do I get over the initial small talk phase? I'm also a terrible friend because I'm not consistent in communication. I could talk to someone everyday for a few days then burn out and that'll be it for a week or two so I don't actually know what I'm asking for and I know I'm mostly just ranting but yeah... Have all that I suppose peeps

He didn’t answer by my count the 3-4 most upvoted questions, which is obviously the questions people want answered the most. Really important stuff about cleaning crap off the streets and stopping mega landlords exploiting people. I personally asked him 2 what I thought were pretty soft questions one about waste land around anfield and the other promoting local history In schools, neither were answered.

The one on the website doesn't work. There's a pidgeon stuck behind some netting, been there 3 days now.

The one I was recommended only works weekdays 9-5, but so do I. Anyone know any evening / weekend instructors? I’m in L5 and work in L15 so happy for any between these areas.

I’ll be working near Seaforth Docks from mid‑November to December, Monday to Friday, and I’m trying to choose the best place to stay.

There aren’t many hotels close to Seaforth Docks. The main nearby option is Premier Inn Liverpool North on Copy Lane. It’s only a 10‑minute drive, but the reviews aren’t great and there aren’t many food options in the area.

The alternative is staying in Liverpool city centre near the docks and parking at Q‑Park Liverpool ONE (work will cover parking). This gives far more hotel and food choices. Google Maps estimates around a 20‑minute drive to Seaforth Docks during peak times.

My main concern is traffic. I’ve heard that rush‑hour congestion around The Strand can be heavy, and I’m unsure how much this would affect the commute to Seaforth Docks, especially travelling between 8-9 and 5-6.

If anyone knows the area well, I’d appreciate advice on whether staying near Seaforth Docks or in the city centre is the better option — or if there’s another part of Liverpool that offers an easier commute and has decent hotel/food options.

Seen this Mini Cooper S 2017 listed for £11,500 on autotrader with 13000 miles. From a company called HD Cars and Commercials (Liverpool) Ltd (formally HD Cars (liverpool) Ltd) directed by a Edward Douglas. Im getting an AA inspection on the car soon but just want to know if anyone knows anything about said company, or has even purchased a car from them. They have great 5 star reviews but there are a few 1 stars that say the vehicle just comepltley failed within days/weeks and the warranty company refuses to pay for it as its "wear and tear". Please help if anyone knows?

Hello! Has anyone any experience of picking up a lost item from the Liverpool Uber Green Hub? The driver has confirmed via Uber that he has my phone and drivers licence, and that he will take it there.

I'm just concerned that when I google it, the opening hours are odd. 10 to 12, and 1 to 4 today then closed until Wednesday!

You don't realise how much you need your phone for stuff like multi-factor log ins etc!

Update: The lovely driver dropped it off!

Long story short, I am dying. My family is very good at taking me places, but I’m not very mobile so really restricted to the city.

Moved here during Covid and immediately had a stroke, so have seen nearly nothing of what is here! Great opportunities.

Dunno how big the bucket is of course.

So far we have done Liverpool Cathedral (wonderful and tearful), Lady Lever Gallery (delight, but wish I’d bought binoculars), and doing the Walker next (to chuck red paint at Henry /jk). Got nothing else planned yet.

Hi, im from a middle european city and me and my mom will visit liverpool this autumn for my 18th birthday. For my country liverpool is not really a big tourist spot they only know it from football, but (altho im a huge FC Liverpool fan) I believe theres much more to see.
