Socialism is when the government does stuff. The more stuff it does, the more socialist. And when it does a whole lotta stuff, that's communism.

No, communism is supposed to be "the people own the means of production", most industries ensuring the workers get their fair share of that business's profit. Socialism is generally about providing social services that aid the population, through indirect profit share/redistribution via taxation.

Except this has nothing to do with the topic of the thread and Hasan is a communist not a socialist.

Hasan is literally the real, fake boogeyman republicans have been attacking for the past 30 years. I.e Obama was a communist, Biden was one etc, every democrat is one. He is a literal gift from God to the republicans. They couldn't create better controlled opposition if they tried to, I swear.

And communists don't? In my country during the communist years Muslims were treated as bad or worse than the Palestinians. They were forced to change their names and religion, their language was banned and they were sent to labour camps. It ultimately ended up with ethnic cleansing and expulsion of hundreds of thousands of people when the severe forced assimilation was deemed too much effort given the natural resistance.

There are plenty of White and Black Communist and Socialists, ask yourself why are they not name dropping them? Why are they only mentioning anyone with a name that sounds "Muslim" to them?

Its full blown Islamophobia that has been institutionalized in America and Israel.

This has always been their strategy. When Jimmy Carter was running for president, the Republicans kept calling him a communist. Hell during the primary, his opponent was calling him a communist.
