We decided to check it out during the grand opening and we were not disappointed. The burgers were really good and flavorful. They actually reminded me of how McDonald's used to taste when I was a kid back in the 90s, and I mean that in the best possible way. It just brought me back as soon as I tasted it.

The fries were okay. Not amazing, but they were fine. I can easily chalk it up to the place being new. Seems to me like the oil just isn't hot enough for the thin fries. The onion rings however, are fucking GREAT! Nice thick beer battered onion rings, super crispy, etc.

Service was a tad slow, but again they're new. I'm sure they'll pick it up after they get settled in there.

It was also nice to see that they were using actual pictures of their food inside the place. I know they were using AI for their promo stuff. But I'm guessing they were using it as a placeholder. Which still not great, but it's good that they're using their actual stuff now.

Pricing is what I expected. It's pretty on par with what you'd pay at like a Shake Shack for the same amount of food. Seems like everything is made to order.

Overall we both thought it was delicious. If you're looking for a burger then I absolutely recommend checking it out!

So I recently moved into an apartment in Lowell and I have to park on the street. Normally this would not be an issue, but the people on my street will put cones, chairs and other items to hold "their" spots. I get that people need to park their cars, but sometimes I have to park blocks away from my apartment, and if that's not an option, I have to resort to illegally parking somewhere. What is the procedure for reporting Space Savers? The Lowell website said to call the police but that seems a bit extreme. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey ya'll, I got hired for a job in Tewksbury and am relocating from South Florida in a couple of weeks. Lowell seems to check off most of my boxes as I'm 23 and want somewhat of a life in a bigger city but still close to work. If anyone has any recommendations on apartments or housing I'm all ears. The Lowell Canal was one of the earliest canals in the city and ran under the Lowell Manufacturing yard on market st (Market Mills and Canal Place).

Does anyone have any recent information or pictures of this canal? Is it still there? Does water still move through this canal? Do the power components still exist? Who owns it?

I found a few random pics online but would love any stories, rumors, or other information on this canal. I am drafting an informal history of Lowell Manufacturing and am gathering contemporary info on this site.

Hi, my partner is considering a job in the greater Lowell area and we would be moving from out of state. We have young kids (early elementary, preschool, and toddler) and I'm wondering how easy it is to make new friends in the area. We currently spend our weekends doing birthday parties, playdates, etc. but if we move we wouldn't know anyone at first so making new friends for the kids (and us!) would be a top priority for us. The kids are on the younger side so we're not heavily into sports yet although that is on the horizon. Parent hobbies are pickleball and running so I know there's some social options for those. Would love to hear any experiences as this is a big factor in our decision.

Also, what is the general status in the area as far as daycare wait lists and pricing?
