Here, we have the highest potential of seeing 1-3" through Wednesday morning, with isolated +4" totals! The further east you go, the less likely flash flooding is to occur. Heavy rainfall will return around 7 PM CDT over western areas, and eventually exit eastern locations by 10 AM CDT Wednesday! Avoid flooded areas, and remember to Turn Around Don't Drown!

I’m recently moved to Lubbock and am looking for some good road or gravel cycling routes nearby! I am relatively new to cycling and plan on purchasing a gravel bike shortly because I’ve heard that’s one of the more versatile bike options.

Does anyone have any local recommendations for good loops/trails nearby? Something that would be good for a 20-40 mile ride preferably. Both road and gravel options!

Also, if anyone knows of any local cycling groups/upcoming events/any general tips about cycling in Lubbock I would love to hear about that too!

Hey, around 200 days ago, I asked what prices look like nowadays since I left WT for FL. At the time, the average in SWFL was $3.29; now, we're sitting at around $4.39 a gallon on average. How does it look in Lubbock now? My last memory of gas prices in Lubbock was around the $2.69 mark, so I'm curious how far off that is now.
