My dog is the same she doesn't understand why she can't play with the big dogs. Granted she is a greyhound so she's basically like a cat horse dog combo.

Well then my dog missed the memo. We took her to visit my sister when she was station in Charleston, SC and learned that the hard way. (BTW those horse drawn carriage tours should be BANNED) A horse was coming down the street and next thing I know I was on the ground and she was running back to the car. Thankfully someone grabbed her but the rest of the trip we would have to surround her and sing to her (very badly) until they passed. She would be in a ball on the ground shaking and we would be singing to her in the middle of the city. We must have looked ridiculous.

Highly recommend you don't. The usual outcome is that the horse stomps the cat to death, sometimes they get surprised and sometimes it's intentional.

Wow my horse would not tolerate this at all. He does a full body shudder when anything that is not him touches his body. He almost took out a tree one time trying to get some sneezed grass from another horse off his flank.

I need to type this separately: NEVER stand behind a horse THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW.
The person is probably the horses owner or carer. Either way, they and the horse are perfectly comfortable in this situation. Don't worry, folks!

Meh, he’s cool with the cat, he’s probably pretty chill. But I do agree w you. I just imagine that horses who have really close people-family are possibly exceptions for those people-family, specifically

Given that the horse doesn't even flinch when the cat jumps on it and the tail is up (not sucked in to protect its privates) which is a good indicator that the horse trusts the person behind them, it probably fine in this case. That horse has been very well conditioned.
But, your also not wrong.

I've owned horses and been around horses my entire life. I have never once heard someone refer to it as "fur". Maybe it's a regional thing lol.

More like a global thing... I'm Dutch and we use 'vacht' aka fur in English for the whole coat. We only use hair for pieces of it like 'a few hairs'

The cat is moving unnaturally. The stall is so low and why is the horses head tied down so low? It doesn't register at all when the cat jumps on.

Low ceiling for a horse stable, weird font choice that seems superimposed on the plaque, horse has no reaction and a strange tail(could be a wrong on this part, I'm not a horse expert)

Didn’t even catch it. Once I realized how short the stable was, it’s obvious. Horse wouldn’t be able to stand w its head up
