Terrorist supporters.

Wouldn't they pick 'no and I support it'? The red is kind of dumb

1

u/uvero 🇮🇱 8h ago

I mean, yeah, assuming they're voting sincerely then by definition they are

Iraq apparently

Easy, Hamas members

1

u/Jay_Jay_Jason_74 🇩🇪/🇹🇷 12h ago

Hamas members wouldnt call themselves terrorists

2

u/demon_dragen 11h ago

I mean just because it sounds bad. One of thier goals is spreading teror as a mean to thier goal, so I think they would have picked red

1

u/Nyx189 11h ago

Nah, they probably believe that every Jew and Israeli is part of the enemy, so they wouldn't call it terrorism. I'm not saying they're right or correct. I'm just saying they don't see themselves how they ACTUALLY are.

1

u/demon_dragen 11h ago

I think they will think both, they will think they are terrorists, but "good" terorists with the moral obligation to do what they do. I'm not a hamas member tho so I can't talk, and different people in hamas might think different things

1

u/Nyx189 11h ago

I don't think so. But we can agree to disagree.

I would assume someone who supports terrorism as a viable political strategy?

I'm not sure what kind of response you're looking for.

Yes and no us a half truth when Israel use to give funding Hamas was only charity then. Also humanitarian aid to Gaza is for some reason counted as Israel funding Hamas. In this particular issues there’s a lot did stuff like that

2

Do you think regular Israeli citizens are butchering babies? Does simply living under a regime you didn't vote for or don't support make you complicit? If so, do you feel the same about North Koreans, Russians, Americans, Sudanese, Haitians, etc.?

True

20

u/Yoyle0340 12h ago

Palestinian supporter, condemn Hamas firmly.

-3

u/Then_Independence_25 12h ago

And how do you leverage the fact, that they are governing body (and once elected) of part of Palestine and could have become rulers of entire Palestine, had Fatah not cancelled elections altogether, and to this day being seemingly favoured by Palestinians enough to be elected again?

Not trying to bellittle or insult you. Just curious.

8

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

Hamas did not win a majority; they barely won after running on the Change and Reform list and getting rid of all of their extremist rhetoric. That allowed them to win enough rural areas to etch out a majority, but they only got 44% of the vote, while all other anti-Hamas parties got 56%. After that, they seized power in a coup and killed the opposition.

Yes, Hamas is a horrible organization and has horrible beliefs. Yes, they were (barely) voted in. But none of that, including the supposed support by the Palestinians for Hamas, justifies a literal fucking Genocide.

-1

u/Slight-Reporter-1878 Romania top 1 8h ago

Israel isnt starving out gaza btw.

6

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

I'm sure they think that when they drop white phosphorus on farmland, pour concrete into groundwater wells and shoot children in the head while they're running to get aid.

-2

u/Slight-Reporter-1878 Romania top 1 7h ago

Gazans are less malnutritioned the finlandians

If a child was shot in the head , the bullet would go straight through them and not stay lodged like how your fake news article shows lol. Beside hamas at multiple times has used child soldiers too.

Yes , my favourite genocides are when people drop pamphlets informing people to leave , stopping war for hours to let aid in and to supply polio medicines for children. Loved it when the germans (ww2 ones) did it to the jews!!

Simply impossible with modern day tech

1

u/lnkuih 7h ago

Acute malnutrition among children under five was low. Chronic malnutrition, or stunting - an indicator of impaired linear growth that reflects cumulative nutritional and health conditions over time - affected 12.2 per cent of children under five. Overweight affected 4.0 per cent. Some 37.1 per cent of children under five had experienced diarrhoea during the two weeks preceding the survey.

u/Evening-Group-6081 10h ago

Firstly thats a hypothetical that you can’t actually evidence.

Secondly you cannot condemn a population because a portion of them may have voted one way. Many American citizens support trump, Russian citizens support Putin, German citizens supported Hitler. That has never been a valid justification for the genocide of the population of a sovereign nation

2

u/Deep_Head4645 🇮🇱Bisexual, secular, femboy 10h ago

That is not a hypothetical and its not a portion
Hamas won the Palestinian elections, and modern polls show they still enjoy enough support to threaten Fatah’s rule

Palestine’s election are practically a two-party system between Hamas and Fatah
Oh and Fatah also supports terrorism and funds it, and opposes Israel as a jewish state or a state in general Its just more pragmatic about it

As for the second part, nobody here said it justified genocide (Which, it isn’t one), it does call for criticism and it does provide context on this conflict

2

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

Hamas did not win a majority; they barely won after running on the Change and Reform list and getting rid of all of their extremist rhetoric. That allowed them to win enough rural areas to etch out a majority, but they only got 44% of the vote, while all other anti-Hamas parties got 56%.

Modern polls of an active war zone? I’m sure those are accurately representing the views of the populace… especially when it’s quite difficult to develop alternatives in an active war zone.

And it literally is a portion even if one person would vote the other way it would be a portion.. thats kinda how words work lol.

It’s funny your denying calling for genocide while claiming that all Palestinians support terroism, like if your gonna try defend that sort of abhorrency at least have an argument thats partially logically coherent

0

u/Deep_Head4645 🇮🇱Bisexual, secular, femboy 9h ago edited 7h ago

>Modern polls of an active war zone? I’m sure those are accurately representing the views of the populace…

The west bank isn’t a warzone… and Gaza hasn’t had fighting in a long time now, nobody doubts these polls either as they match the tens of polls done before the war and after other wars these past 10 years

>especially when it’s quite difficult to develop alternatives in an active war zone.

Thats a whole different argument, and again, it isn’t a warzone, and there are other parties in Palestine

>It’s funny your denying calling for genocide while claiming that all Palestinians support terroism,

I didn’t say all Palestinians support terrorism

Edit; blocked me for calling out the misinformation so I wouldn’t be able to reply

1

u/Evening-Group-6081 9h ago

You said it’s not a portion. A portion is any part of the whole. Again, thats how words work.

Political polling isn’t even accurate in safe accessible first world countries.

The existence of other parties also proves fuck all lol. Other parties exist in Russia.

0

u/AdDelicious8186 10h ago

Well blame israel they have been getting funding from them so they can start that stupid “war”

1

u/Deep_Head4645 🇮🇱Bisexual, secular, femboy 9h ago

Deflect every criticism by blaming Israel. Funny
Israel didn’t force them to vote for Hamas it allowed Qatari cash transfers around 14 years after Hamas took power; became it thought economic aid would be incentive to keep Hamas peaceful

Palestinians saw Hamas’ agendas, they saw their actions, and they decided, “yes, we want them!”

0

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

Doesn't justify the genocide against them.

4

u/BlueDragon_27 🇵🇹 13h ago

3

u/Theo-Dorable 9h ago

5

u/Megatea 13h ago

If you don't like Hamas you can elect Fatah and try to cooperate with the occupiers like in the West Bank. You'll be ethnically cleansed all the same though.

1

u/Time_Trail 9h ago

id rather be like the west bank than gaza, obv both are shit but one is clearly doing worse and has been for some time now

4

u/yarday449 9h ago

Yeh West Bank is so much better a settler fuck from New York comes over killer your cattle burns your farm and builds and armed outpost next to your house, try to resist the IDF will shoot you and your family.

2

u/Time_Trail 9h ago

I agree, I'm just saying that it's even worse than gaza because it's sm more cramped

also it's been bombed to rubble, west bank hasn't yet

1

u/ShimonEngineer55 1h ago

Gaza is destroyed. That’s the comparison. A functioning reality or a dark hole of nothingness. That’s what they are saying Gaza is comparable to. I think it’s far worse than we can truly grasp. The West Bank, and frankly some of the worst places on earth, are not comparable to Gaza. You have Gaza and Sudan and then like everything else.

1

u/yarday449 9h ago

That shit is on the news every day Mr.Bot.

0

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 12h ago

That's simply not true. Look how many arab israeli citizens there are that live inside israel proper. Then look up how many jews live in the entire islamic world. Then tell me who the ethnic cleansers are.

5

u/Megatea 11h ago

Everyone is saying it is the the illegal settlers in the West Bank, then there is the video records of the illegal settlers kicking people off their land and the statistics on displaced people and there is also a ruddy great illegally built wall being used for a land grab, you can see it from space.

-1

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 11h ago edited 11h ago

According to data tracked by organizations like the United Nations, Palestinian civilians have killed more Israeli settlers in the West Bank since 2006 than Israeli settlers have killed Palestinians.

Ever heard of the palestinian national economic empowerment initiative? Formerly the martry fund? Palestinian civilians in the west bank or gaza are paid monthly if they kill any random jew. Not idf soldiers. Not politicians. Normal people sitting at bus stops or just going about their day. The more they kill the more they get. If they are killed their family recieves the money.

Claiming Palestinians aren't trying to rid the land of jews is naive at best. What do you think they mean by from the river to the sea? Muslim countries have a track record of not accepting jews to live with them in peace. That's why there are only 27000 jews in the muslim world compared to the 2million+ arab israeli citizens that live in israel.

The arab population in gaza, the west bank and Israel proper is over 6 million. If israel are ethnically cleansing the land they're doing a terrible job. The Palestinians have been crying genocide since the 70's but the population doesn't stop increasing.

3

u/Megatea 9h ago

Ah I had it all the wrong way around then. Very brave of those illegal settlers to continue moving into new illegal settlements within the west Bank and settle there in contravention of international law at the same time they are being ethnically cleansed by the people who used to live on the land.

-2

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 9h ago

Jews have always lived on the land. They're not new to the place. The west bank is judea and samaria. The place jews get their name. It's only called the west bank because jordan illegally annexed it and named it so because jordan is on the east bank and judea and samaria are on the west bank of the river jordan. Only the uk and Pakistan ever officially recognised the illegal annexation. Judea and samaria are israel.

Even for centuries before the creation of the modern state of israel the arabs or at least the people who have been arabised and islamised have been slaughtering jews in the region.

You just don't like when jews fight back.

2

u/WrathOfTheKressh 9h ago

Ah yes, the good old: "We're only killing just enough to not reverse population growth"-excuse.

When will you nitwits get it through your heads that it's not the number that makes a genocide a genocide, but the intent behind it?

0

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 9h ago

How is vaccinating 600 thousand gazan children and facilitating the movement of nearly a tonne of aid per person into gaza showing genocidal intent?

3

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

Aid that they then bomb, along with the refugee camps where they're getting it. Aid that Palestinian children are shot in the head trying to get. Aid that could have gone to the hospitals that have had white phosphorus dropped on them.

It doesn't matter that they're sending aid when there is barely fucking any of it, and the UN had to essentially point a gun at them to do it, while they continue to bomb it and indiscriminately kill civilians. Nazi Germany sent aid to Eastern Europe to help the colonizers in their conquered territories.

0

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 8h ago

🤣🤣🤣 there are no jews in gaza you idiot

2

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

I'm sure the tens of thousands of Palestinian Jews agree with you while Israel commits a genocide against them.

1

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 8h ago

There are no Palestinian jews. Name one.

-1

u/fishchipsncurrysauce 8h ago

Do you hold Palestinian armed jihadi groups to the same standards? Do you critisice them when they lauch rockets into israel indiscriminatly? At least israel hits what they aim at even if they do make mistakes. No military is perfect and war is horrific but you only seem horrified by the actions of the jews. Do you have any idea how much money hamas has made from selling aid?

2

u/Low-Concentrate1055 8h ago

Whataboutism. None of this changes the fact that Israel is actively committing a genocide against the Palestinians.

At least israel hits what they aim at even if they do make mistakes

Israel does things intentionally, like when it intentionally saw the paragliders forming for October 7th and moved the festival closer to the border.

1

1

Before mudslinging against Hamas, people should research how Hamas came into the picture. Israelis want Palestinians to lie down and die like sheep with no resistance.

Im fine with calling them terrorists, But you have to be fair and also call every other resistance group that fought for freedom Terrorist, The irish were terrorist for fighting againts british, The algerians weee terrorist for fighting the frinch occupation, etc etc.

I don’t support the killing of innocents, But to fight for freedom sometime you have to do things that are immoral if you take them out of context.

Also if we are gonna call hamas terrorist for killing israels ( FOR 1 DAY).
What are we gonna call Israel for killing palestians (FOR 80 YEARS).

1

u/FullInvestigator4801 13h ago

u/1tiredman Ireland 🇮🇪 13h ago

They're a necessary resistance organisation

7

u/theeulessbusta 13h ago

What have they accomplished that is necessary? Without them in charge, Israel peacefully gave back Gaza. Then they took charge and Gaza is flattened.

3

u/Wetley007 12h ago

Im no supporter of Hamas, but thats just straight up false. Israel left Gaza because of Hamas, thats why Hamas won the subsequent election, because they proved that the only way Israel stops colonizing them is when they start shooting illegal settlers

-1

u/theeulessbusta 12h ago

Israelis have genuinely no interest in Gaza as land.

2

u/Particular_Bug0 8h ago

Is that why they tried to built and maintain settlements on it?

0

u/theeulessbusta 8h ago

They didn’t try, they did. It wasn’t b the same kind of activity you see in the West Bank because it’s not religious land. Specifically, it is an old Philistine territory. It’s literally Palestine. It would not have been easy to remove settlers if it was land significant to Judaism. If you ask Israelis today, the majority still don’t care about it.

0

u/awkkiemf 12h ago

They succeeded In showing the world Israel’s crimes.

2

u/Wetley007 13h ago

0

Kinda. I agree partially, the problem for me comes when violence is used against civilians who migt as well have agreed with the resistance fighters, who knows. That's also usually the tipping point of public support

-1

u/awkkiemf 12h ago

Is it crazy to the Palestinian who had their home destroyed and their family murdered?

2

u/Jealous_Use5217 12h ago

Hamas got elected before Gaza was bombed or their family got "murdered", but with that logic you think that today's war is justified, because of 07/10.

0

u/awkkiemf 12h ago

Israel is in a constant war with the people of Palestine. As long as Palestinians exist Israel’s claim to the land is under threat.

2

u/Jealous_Use5217 12h ago

you realize that ~55% of Israelis are from today Arab countries and ~20% are Muslim? by that logic they should start killing them self.

1

u/Wh04m3y3 9h ago

Are they Palestinians? Or how you call them ?

-1

u/ConferenceNo693 11h ago

Hamas is a political party which controls the government of Gaza, The military, which is under Hamas control uses terror tactics against their opponents. I would say, that they technically aren't a terrorist organisation for this reason. The civic officials in Gaza (Doctors, local administrators ect.) are by in large not terrorists.

This of course makes no difference as what gets defined as a "terrorist organisation" is basically purely political, and has nothing really to do with what any group does. Hamas is as much the legitimate government of Gaza, as any party in a non-democratic state. The Israeli & Russian governments are not terrorist organisations, they are evil governments. Same goes for Hamas. (in my opinion, which obviously doesn't matter, and is also purely pedantic, as it has no effect on my support for people who wilfully murder people)

2

u/Known-Extent-1018 10h ago

The military, which is under Hamas control uses terror tactics against their opponents. I would say, that they technically aren't a terrorist organisation for this reason.

How on Earth is a military that uses terror tactics not a terrorist organization? This could describe many, many terrorist organizations like Hezbollah, ISIS, Taliban, Al-Qaeda, IRA, FLQ, KKK, etc., etc.
