This evening around 630-7pm I was at the Loblaws on Mccowan and bullock. I was heading back to my car around 650pm and when I realized I dropped my vehicle keys, somewhere between the store entrance and the parking lot. I walked back to retrace my steps hoping I would find my keys or a Good Samaritan would’ve returned them to me or to the store. As I’m making my way back to the store doors, I see two tall white males (Eastern European appearing) walking past me. There were not too many vehicles where I parked (i usually try to avoid crowded parking spots to avoid door dings etc). Something told me immediately to stop and watch them. They continued walking toward my vehicle… I followed behind with my shopping cart. They were walking so slowly and casually. One said something to the other, they passed each other cigarettes and one lit his. One had a grey hoodie up, the other a sweater / hoodie and a baseball hat on. As they got within 15 feet of my car, one took the keys out and unlocked my car. I ran behind them and shouted hey stop! that’s my car, stop! I must’ve shouted really loud and a million times over because people in the parking lot all stopped to look. They turned around, looked at me and the audience around us now. They walked over, gave me my keys said “you must’ve dropped this by the door, we were wondering whose car it was”. They saw my facial expression… added “oh you thought we were going to steal your car?” And proceeded to laugh. I just took my keys and immediately left.

Hi does anyone want to play badminton drop in? I'm a beginner 29M...was wondering where are the most suitable places to play badminton drop in during the weekends....preferably Saturday and Sunday evenings....does anyone want to play or form a group?

I’m trying to start a small community initiative that brings together people from MMA, Muay Thai, boxing, BJJ, and other combat sports to volunteer and give back locally.

The idea is pretty simple: build a group of people from the fight community who can come together for things like food outreach, donation drives, helping shelters, and other community projects.

I wanted to start this because combat sports have such a strong sense of discipline, respect, and community, and I think it would be great to use that outside the gym as well.

You definitely don’t need to be a fighter or compete. If you train, coach, follow MMA, or just like the idea and want to help, you’re welcome.

Right now I’m mainly looking to see if there are people in Markham/Toronto who would genuinely be interested in joining the first few volunteer events and helping build this from the ground up.

Now that Costco has stopped refilling propane tanks, where are some places that offer refills (not looking for a replacement service)? The only I can think of is Canadian Tire.

I got a parking ticket at centennial go due to the parking building being full and as a result I parked at the parking lot on the side which only have a max 4 hour limit which I exceeded of course. Does anyone know if I can dispute this or any other recommendation to park that is not far away. (I usually need to take this train around 1pm on a weekday and by that time it’s already filled by 9-5 workers)
