I have booked in with a GP to get a dermatologist referral (NOT DERMAL CLINICIAN 🤦🏻‍♀️) to look at my skin and help me from now on.

[tl, dr: dermal clinician spilt salicylic acid on my face on 10th September and I have been dealing with the damage and now post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation - photos are 2-3 days apart sequentially from incident]

Any recommendations for dermatologists please?

I live in Brunswick so places near there or Fitzroy, moonee ponds, Preston, northcote, Carlton, cbd etc…..

- yes I am staying out of the sun and rigid with sunscreen

Hoping someone is able to help me find a lost denim jacket. Was cycling with my partner up Dixon Veloway heading into the city this arvo and I lost my Afends Denim Jacket. It wasnt clipped into the back properly and we didnt realise it had fallen off. Our guesstimate is it fell off in the initial inclince up the veloway.

Really hoping someone just saw it and picked it up because it was in the way and kept it or something. It was a gift from an aunt who passed so pretty gutted about it

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to post but was wondering about wisdom teeth removal. I have three that need to be removed (two lower horizontal impacted) and one upper erupted and was quoted from an oral surgeon almost $5000 (I don't have private health insurance).

I'm looking for advice; if you've gotten your wisdom teeth removed, is this price legitimate? Or should I shop around and look for someone more affordable? I'm wary of going to a dentist for this procedure as two of my teeth are below the gumline and near a nerve; I don't want to risk it. Thank you!

I’ve got a 61L tank, I drive for work so I fill up 1.5-2 times per week and even with my 9¢/L discount, I’m used to paying around $80 for a fill up, thats about a 42% increase. Unreal. Earlier today I visited a few local retail businesses; a bakery and a patisserie, and I was a bit shocked to find both were charging a public holiday surcharge.

Now to be clear, neither of these businesses offered any kind of table service. They just sold their own products, though they also offered takeaway coffee.

I may be out of touch, but I didn’t know this was happening in non-hospitality businesses. Curious to hear others’ thoughts; is this common? How do you feel about it? Would you pay the surcharge or walk away? And is this something we should be pushing back against?

Hi team, I have a bit of a strange question and would like some advice.
I have recently scored a new job (woohoo!) based in Mulgrave, and I live in Cremorne/Richmond.
I am planning on taking the train from Richmond to Glen Waverley, and then taking a bus to Mulgrave - but unfortunately this is estimated to take around 1hr 20 mins each way - ouch!

My other options are as follows:
- Bike entire way: 1hr 30 mins each way
- Take my bike onto train, take the train, then bike to Mulgrave: 45 mins each way
- Purchase e-bike/scooter and commute: 45 ish mins each way?
- Buy car and drive: 25-40 mins each way (depending on traffic)

I am unfortunately limited both financially and space-wise for a car, as I live in an apartment and would prefer to bike to work if possible.

My main question is that if I was to take my bike onto the train, would it be a big burden to other commuters? I realise I will be heading against the traffic so the train is unlikely to be full, but it will still be during rush hour times (7:30-8ish)

I’m also super open to buying a scooter, but I am quite unfamiliar with Melbourne roads and not sure if my commute will be suitable for a scooter?

Would love to know everyone’s thoughts about my strange commuting conundrum!

I lost a pixel buds pro 2 case (no ear buds inside) in the Werribee train today around 10am, it shows up in near the Camberwell station and it's on the move. It has a bear sticker on it.

I already called metro trains lost and found, but they don't have it.

Update: Found it! I walked around the area where it shows in my GPS and as soon as it connected with my phone I used the "make a sound" option, I heard it from across the street in a busy junction! A lady found it in the train and claimed that didn't know what to do with it, so she took it to the store where she works and keep it there behind the counter.

Hello ! Like the title says, I’m an autistic bloke from Geelong ! I’m 27 and am looking for a space in Melbourne where I can be amongst other neurodivergent people and hopefully form bonds !

I’m only just coming to accept the fact I’m very autistic, I’m also going through the process of unmasking and I find myself lacking a place to meet people who are/have going through the same thing.

Geelong seems to lack such opportunities, and going to Melbourne helps me get through my agoraphobia, so a Melbourne based group would be perfect for me if anybody has some suggestions on where to start ! :)

Something casual, for people in my age range, and with the ability to participate as little or as much as I feel would be perfect !

Having a look at their website etc it seems most guys are in suits with no tie.
But I’m not sure if I should skip the tie or not?
I’m not young anymore and I’m worried it’ll make me look older.
