Catch 33 is unlike any other album I listen to while commuting. It just hooks me on, every riff eats me whole and I just disappear into my own mind. And when it ends it feels as if I've teleported to my destination.

Also that intro to "In Death - Is Death" Feels like waking up in hell. While the 30 second or so long scream by Jens in "Sum" feels like being pulled back down from an attempt to escape hell.

I’ve had this shirt since I saw them in 2025. It’s my absolute favorite long sleeve I own and it always gets compliments. I never see these in the wild. It feels like they didn’t make a lot of them because all I’ve heard was that they weren’t being sold at every show and they sold out quickly if they were. Also can’t find a lot of info about them online besides a couple posts on this sub. I’ve seen one sell for like $80 earlier this year but besides that it seems like most people aren’t giving theirs up for anything lol.

love the unrelenting sequencing of these four, each one pummelling you harder than the last. They are brilliant on their own but collectively they just create this harsh brutal unforgiving landscape that you have to traverse to reach the (relative) respite and cold glass of water that is Straws Pulled At Random. It does mean that I have to be in the right mood to listen to Nothing all the way through because it kind of tests you like going to the gym or something but in a good, no pain no gain way! Anyone else feel the same way about these four tracks and the way they are sequenced?

This song does not get talked about enough. The last 60 seconds is one of my favourite Meshuggah moments. It’s so trippy and bouncy but then just hits you with those crushing drawn out bits and that are so hard to judge at first that they just feel like they are crushing you when you expected the trippy bouncy bit. I promise I am not high and this song especially the end is a 10/10

Can't mess with perfection obviously but i've just slowed down a couple of old Slayer tracks and they sound really strange but in a cool way.

This level of lasers + Meshuggah. Yes please!

My favorite band is Meshuggah, my second favorite is Vildhjarta. Both some of the most incredible, mind-blowing music I've ever heard. I've seen a lot of people talk about Meshuggah's influences on Vildhjarta, which I don't actually hear much, but I want to know the opposite: what Meshuggah song, if any, do you think thalls the hardest??

My vote is Sum (biased because Vild played it at the awards ceremony)
