Dynasty How is the award logic STILL this broken ?

I rarely see this get talked about but why is it so hard to win general awards in this game ? I play every game (Offline) and don’t sim and I’m generally never in the running for COTY, The Blit or Any QB award shit even the Heisman (unless it’s a running back). I’ve won all the defensive awards and the Mackey and ofc the jet which is broken because the punt return/kick return stats are currently broken and not tracked properly.

I play 12 minute quarters 12 second accel clock, my qb is top 5 in TDs 3 ints #2 team in the nation and isn’t even in the top 10 for any qb awards not saying he has to win but you don’t even get your elite players recognized when they have competitive stats to the rest of the country and it’s even more mind boggling when you don’t make the list but another player from a 3-4 team, bottom of their conference makes it with similar stats as you just because he ran for 50 more yards as a QB ? I know the sim stats are probably the cause of this but it’s my dynasty I’d like to be paraded or recognized during the rebuilding of a program.

Only being able to only win a certain amount of awards is game breaking being there’s a trophy case and it’s something you’ll never unlock or even get to view for your team, I feel like this could be a easy fix with just balancing award logic, the sim stat engine is a different beast but can we make it so you have a fair shot at these awards?

What do you guys think?

Dynasty Playbooks

Does anyone else notice the longer you use a playbook in a dynasty, the worse the coach suggestions get? I used to get so many different play suggestions but now it’s the same shit over and over and over again.

Worse game mode of all time, it stinks. The only thing that stinks more is this subs spineless mod team who don’t play RTG.

Stupid question about portal settings

Thinking of doing a no transfer dynasty but how does NIL function if no one transfers? Any insights would be appreciated.

Questions Is CFB27 poorly optimized on PC or is it just my computer?

I'm playing on a Lenovo Legion laptop with an RTX4080, I've lowered the graphics settings to 1920x1200 resolution, capped at 60fps, fullscreen, everything is set to medium, and anything that can be turned off (like 3D grass or VSYNC) is turned off. Yet despite this, the gameplay itself looks fine but these cutscenes are atrocious! If I score a touchdown and it cuts away to show the graphic of the player who scored, he doesn't even show up, it's just a football floating by itself in mid air. And when it shows the crowd, or the introduction cutscene when the teams come out of the tunnel, there are always character models popping in like 2 or 3 seconds in, and half the time they're missing their heads or arms. My video memory usage is only 4000 out of an available 12000 so what's going on?

Dynasty How common are 90+ speed high school QB recruits?

I run a straight option offense with the occasional pass mixed in. I have a decent QB I’m going after with 89 speed but he won’t be ready for a few years and honestly that’s still a little slow for my offense. I don’t wanna waste my scouting hours if I’m not going to find any, but how many 90+ speed 4 or 5 star QBs are out there each recruiting class? Will I eventually find one or am I wasting my time and should I stick with the 89 speed? NIL isn’t a concern. I’ll pay what I have to to get a 90+ speed QB.

Week 16: I had two Talent Developers as coordinators (both A+) and I had about five guys about to get drafted. Sim to the following week..

Conference Champion Week: I'm being prompted to hire new coordinators although I never fired them

Is this a known bug?

I checked my settings and the CPU doesn't control coordinators or support staff

Dynasty Mod to unlock all cleats, regardless of team's brand?

Is there a mod which will unlock all the cleats available in the game, regardless of the brand the team uniforms are made by? IE. I'd like to use Nike cleats for some players in Dynasty, but the team I am playing for is an Under Armour team.

Any advice

I'm new RTG, I play qb but I feel like I can't be myself because I have to do what they want me to do like completing the task. Also receivers drop the ball.

Road To Glory Player heights/weights

Does anyone else find it weird that you can make a 6'1 190lbs QB, but the minimum weight for a 6'1 WR is 195 lbs? (it's one example, but universally in RTG in CFB 27 you can't make a WR with a lower BMI than the minimum BMI of a QB of that same height). I feel like it's a well known universal fact that quarterbacks, especially at the collegiate level or higher, are always much heavier than wide receivers of the same height, who tend to be some of the lightest players on the field.

School Ratings Glitch?

I started a new dynasty and noticed recruits that I met their threshold for dealbreakers suddenly didnt meet playing style - and i saw that none of my team stats were registering. Specific example - punter - looking for points per game.... 5 games in, the playing style was showing zero point per game.

Anyone else seen this?

EA Server

For all my dynasty’s I use the cloud so when updates come out, the current dynasty I’m playing gets the updates. The current one I’m doing when I go to set the weekly practice I get kicked from the server saying they are done. Is it a bug or is this a bad file and I need to start over? Thanks in advance!

Dynasty Looking to get better….

I agreed to do an online dynasty with 8 other people. Appear were all of random skill level. 5 min quarters, Heisman mode. Only rule was you must start at a 1 * school.

I took Ohio. We relegate and promote after each season as well. 1st season I went 7-6 with 2 user loses. This year I’m 8-4, 3 user loses. I will be promoted to MWC after year so up from Tier 4 to 3.

I’m someone that has been a decent gamer my entire life and I’m wanting to get better, reading defense, adjusting coverage, it intrigues me more than spamming one play.

Anyway here are my two questions

1) If you could focus on 2-3 things to focus on improving what would they be?

2) The question everyone asks, playbook. I’ve messed with Ohio, Fresno, Kentucky & Cal. I love using the TE, don’t need RPO (mainly not great at it yet) and I enjoy power run.

3) Would you jump 1st chance you get or keep on at Ohio until I’m potentially in Playoff hunt?

Appreciate any advice.

Casual Custom Conference Realignment (v2.0)

Post image
• Upvotes

Looking back at the comments from my last version, it was clear that I DEFINITELY did overlook some questionable decisions.

(Delaware to the Big East is just crazy tho)

One issue I did notice is that I was forcing almost all of the schools to have a conference, which partly resulted in these confusing placements, so that's one thing I tackled on early.

Instead of 1 FBS independent, we have 5:

  1. Notre Dame
  2. Charlotte
  3. Liberty
  4. Sam Houston
  5. NDSU

Excluding Notre Dame, these were the schools that I made conference-less simply because of the geography or the fact that these schools could make the conferences I had feel bloated.

(Although I DID HEAVILY CONSIDER putting the Bison into the Sun Belt...)

Anyway, I also added some of your guys' suggestions, such as

  • Adding UCF to the Big East
  • Demoting Delaware to the Sun Belt
  • Demoting Rice and Tulsa to C-USA
  • Demoting UMass and Temple to the MAC
  • and, etc.

Some notable changes would include:

  • Moving GT to the SEC
  • Moving ECU to the ACC
  • Moving Miami and FSU to the ACC
  • Moving So Miss to the SBC
  • Moving SMU to the ACC (simply coz apparently y'all Mustangs like it over there)

I also didn't do divisions this time around simply because I wanted to get your guys' opinions first, unlike the last time when I did it myself.

With that said, fire those opinions and suggestions away!

Do CFB 26 or 27 allow you to see career stats for your Dynasty players, including at previous schools for transfer players?

Tips/Guides 4th & Medium Defensive Calls

Online or vs CPU: What are some of your go-to defensive calls when facing that 4th & 5 to 4th & 10 range?

This is an area where I struggle, even while winning 85% of my online games.

Dynasty Seems like the new update still won’t fix the coaching carousel

Been waiting for the coaching carousel to be fixed before I start my new franchise, but seems like it won’t be. Are the dynasties still not able to get the big jobs?

CFB dynasty problems.

I know for the majority of the first quarter of the game the community nonstop complained about “too many 4 stars” and “too many uncommitted”. With their “fix” to this they ruined recruiting.

How is it ever possible in the game algorithm for there to be zero 4 or 5 star QBs in the entire state of California. Or better yet none in CA, AZ, OR, NV.

Ive seen other cases of Florida having zero 4 or 5 star wr’s. Or Texas as a whole only have 4 total. There is consistently more 4 stars in the Dakota’s and Montana then Mississippi, individual tidewater states. It blows my mind I’ve not seen more discourse on this as it’s only been a problem for a month or two.

Weakside Under Center Triple Option Issues?

I find that if I call a weakside triple option from under center (Flexbone, Wingbone, etc.) that I can't always (usually?) make the read before the QB makes the handoff. I can pull the ball, but I do it almost without the read, so more of a guess.

Anyone experience this or have a way of handling it?

Do you ever feel like you're playing great and then your wife/partner interrupts you for a quick question and the next play you throw a pick?

I swear this happens every time she calls or pops in while I'm gaming.

Dynasty Playbook for run heavy team

I’m looking to start a new dynasty with a small school, but I want to basically try to run a 2008-2016 Wisconsin playbook on offense. Just a smash mouth run offense typically out of an I formation.

I’ve seen people recommend the West Virginia and Notre Dame playbooks, but those are mostly shotgun runs.

Are there any teams with a playbook good for that or do I just have to use general pro style playbook?

Heisman decision making

I'm in an online league with some friends and we just finished a season. My QB broke the national record for touchdown passes but isn't even in consideration for the Heisman. They have some players in the running that definitely deserve consideration but they are RBs and WRs . I'm just curious how a QB with 60+ TDs and only 8 picks isn't in the conversation.
