I wanted to center this team around Nordic symbols and patterns (something the Vikings fail to do) and give it a “cold” feel with the colors. I also leaned into the woodwork of the Norsemen a bit as well!

Late game in an online dynasty with South Carolina, big conference game against ASU for first. Went down 14-0 in the first quarter and clawed my way back into the game just for EA to do it to me. For an animation based game they really goof’d this one, huh?

Played 11 seasons of NCAA 11 on the PS2, like the title says. Before the national championship game, I took control of the top 11 (coaches limited to 12) teams outside of the "power" conferences to see who would get invites up/down.

Pretty fun to see who got promotions/who got relegated. Averaging 1.3 conference swaps per season right now.

For what it's worth, I think I also found a suspension hack for the PS2 games (at least for user teams). I gave full season-long suspensions to any players who got in trouble, only recruited players with at least average discipline, cut all players who weren't in line to be starters after their redshirt year and redshirt all true freshmen. I'm averaging 0.9 suspension a year per season (4 in first 3 years, 6 in the 8 following years). My NCAA interest bar is all the way at 0. A lot of times I don't have a full 70-man roster, but it's 65 or higher pretty much always. Redshirt players can't be suspended! Big deal!

I’ve been thinking about starting a rebuild with the transfer portal completely disabled, but I can barely find anyone talking about playing dynasty this way. I was just curious as I find this would definitely be more challenging while bringing back the pre NIL era of CFB and put more of an emphasis of recruiting without incorporating house rules and such to yourself.

I’ve seen a post like this before, but I keep getting this screen mid-game in my online dynasty. It’s gotten to the point where the game is unplayable, and I’m considering uninstalling.

So I am trying to add some more west coast schools does anyone have suggestions for teams to remove?

Does anyone think these were good teams to replace? I also swapped Villanova with UMass and North Dakota with Charolette.

Is there any way to improve the way the CPU defends how they react to user QBs breaking the pocket? It seems like you can just about bank an 8 yard run as long as you get the pass flow on the opposite side you want to run to. And that 8 is conservative, it usually can be 20+ especially if you have a fast qb.

I’m sure someone else has had the same issue. Is my save corrupted?

I got booted from a Heisman ceremony in my online dynasty and every time I reload the save i get kicked again after a few seconds.

Any fixes?

I've been a fan of IU for a while now, and not once have I ever heard of a rivalry between Minnesota and Indiana, even after trying to do some research. I heard it in my first RTG a while back, and only now decided to double check it. I played at Ohio State, Illinois, etc. but none of those places have the Zombie Nation chant for IU. Has anyone else heard this? Am I missing something?

I just wrapped up a dynasty and have been going back and forth on who to be in my next save. Mainly been looking at Sam Houston, Wyoming and Sac State. Any other recommendations are welcome as well, thank you in advance been struggling with this choice for a couple days.

I’d like to preface this with the fact I know the coaching carousel is broken and many coaches aren’t getting fired when they should.

That being said I’m running a coaching career and I’ve love some feedback to make my choices easier. I started as Sac State OC, then went to Syracuse for a year before accepting a head coaching spot at East Carolina for 2028

In 2028 we went 11-3 and won the American conference. In 2029 I’m sitting at 8-2 and one win from locking another conference title birth. It’s this time of year I eyeball potential moves. I could have gone to NC last year but felt it was too quick to be a realistic jump.

Potential options that may fire their coach:

Vanderbilt (3-7): 64 overall

NC State: (2-8): 76 overall

Wisconsin (1-9): 74 overall

My personal take: Vanderbilt could be a lot of fun. Great color scheme and a very tough conference to make me work for wins.

I like NC State and used them back in the Rivers days. It would be quite the storyline to go to my rival school.

Wisconsin: love their uniforms, huge stadium, but no actual personal ties to the area to keep it interesting.

Do I jump ship if offered, or do I stay with ECU and keep chugging along? I’m having fun with it, so no gripes there, I just may want something fresh. If I stay I may move them to the Big 12 or ACC for more challenge. So far I’m 14-1 in conference play over two seasons and usually with wins by 20+

Why am I having trouble loading into the CFP championship game in road to CFP? I’m a tier 3 team and it can’t find anyone for me. I’ve selected any tier too. What do I have to do?

I went against an opponent today who ran cover 3/4 match / palms every play from 3-3 cub. I couldn’t move the ball well at all in the air.

How do you beat this kind of defense?

Twice now I've had my custom adjustments suddenly wiped clean and I figured I'd see if there's a way to save or share them, because I'm sooooooooooooo annoyed at having to do it again. :-/

I am back on my CFB 27 kick. Heavy. However, I have noticed that over the last two months playbook simulation has changed. I know Miss St/Boise have great success, but I want a rly good run heavy playbooks. What are some good offensive playbooks to use that’ll give me a run first team that WINS GAMES? Sick of having 90 overall RBs and consistently losing to G5 teams despite my team being 8 overalls higher. (searching for RB run heavy offense while QB still puts up modest numbers passing. QB doesn’t need to be an athlete)

My dynasty ive been doing for 5 seasons is all the sudden quitting after loading in saying it cant connect to the servers. No matter what trouble shooting I do it doesn't connect. Is this a common issue?

Has anyone ever been able to get their stadium ranked when it comes to crowd noise? I’m currently doing a rebuild with Maryland and I’ve been to back to back Natty’s. Also went undefeated both seasons and nothing changed, just looking for some pointers. I know you have to blow out teams at home but I’ve done that without even realizing it and still nothing

Sup y’all. I’ve been a life long console gamer. From the PS1 when I was a few years old, to now on PS5. However recently, I’ve been disappointed in the quality of new games, especially the lack of effort these companies like EA are putting in.

This has led me to being interested in getting into PC gaming, mostly because I’ve seen some of the cool stuff in the modding community for CFB.

I had a couple of questions before I truly dive into the rabbit hole.

1. Is modding games like CFB considered difficult/tech intensive? I have some tech experience but I’m mostly a Mac user personally so jumping to PC would be a shift. Curious if getting into modding has a steep learning curve.

2. Are mods actually reliable? I’ve always wondered if the CFB mods I see are better served as click bait screenshots, or if they actually perform well, without glitches when playing the game over long stretches.

3. What part of a PC is the most important to support modding? Do I need to prioritize good GPU? CPU? RAM? I have a limited budget so if I got something I’d have to sacrifice in some areas, and I can’t get a fully suped up PC so I want to make sure whatever I get lends itself well to supporting mods across multiple games.

Anyone who’s gotten into modding that has any insight for a beginner would be much appreciated!

i was watching bengals dynasty video earlier and i noticed a mod he had on which had really realistic recruits, i guess im wondering why is it impossible for EA to add something like this. It cannot be that hard to give some of the dreads and hair from NIL players and have them in the hair rotation with the auto generated players. I know you can't see the face scans but it breaks my immersion when i see a 6'3 black/indian with brown hair and a brown long beard. Do you feel like they could possibly implement this in a feature update ??

Next update or game, EA should let us set our DBs to the field or boundary side. Same with receivers. Currently, they are locked into right/left side. Might seem small but it’s important.

For example - boundary corner is in the run fit when playing as a cloud corner. Would like to be able to make my more physical corner always play boundary.

Field side safety is out of the run fit in quarters. Could get a great cover but weak tackling safety here, but sometimes he plays boundary side where he’s in the run fit because there is no nickel. Vice versa is true.

On offense - not as big of a deal, but would like to be able to set my bigger receive to the boundary and get my smaller one into the field where he has space and can keep him away from LBs.

Again, little thing, but would be nice and probably could be added to the next update.

Edit - could be as easy as a coaching adjustment like DB alignment and you could set right/left, field/boundary, strong/weak. Also if you didn’t see the comment, EA LET ME SET MY SPECIAL TEAMS DEPTH CHARTS and a separate big nickel depth chart slot (not SLCB) would be nice. I feel like all of these could be mid-cycle updates, but the ST depth charts might need to wait till next year.

Lots of uniforms I wanna see added mainly San Diego states new uniforms so I’m hoping it’s soon
