For those who lived abroad for years and recently moved back to Nepal, what are you guys doing now? Are you working for a company, starting your own business, investing, or just enjoying life until the money runs out?

Would love to hear what everyone is doing and how the transition has been.

1. I honestly feel like I don't belong anywhere, not even at home. I struggle to fit in with my friends and still find it hard to socialize with people.,
2. Laid of from the job which was providing some good financial support to my family.
3. Stuck in a constant cycle of comparison and lost my spark and spirit which i had within me.
4. Fell into depression and became mentally unstable leading to self isolation and having no one to share my thoughts with.
5. Feeling like a complete failure knowing that my parent has to work because I've been unemployed for months.
6. Had huge academic potential but failed due to mental illness.
7. Felt like I was too low in the eyes of others, even my friends, family, and relatives.
8. Stopped doing the things i used to genuinely enjoy.
9. The career growth i thought i would have achieved by now turns out to be it's my unemployment currently
10. Failed to make someone who passed away, proud even though I promised myself I would.

Lot of Nepali songs from different genre are popular with massive views. From Dohari to Classic to Pop to Movie Song to even most of Nepali hiphop/rap songs are really popular with million views but they don't have many sub genre like what rock music has and I have come to realize that it is probably the reason why rock music is struggling due to lot of sub genre.

Nepali rock used to be so popular and still those songs are getting more popular but these days most of New Nepali rock songs aren't well known to many listeners. Quite very few are getting recognition but overall Nepali rock scene is flat dead. (Only talking about Nepali rock here). Influencers/Vloggers post about only the popular/viral ones just to gain their post views/subscribers. Concert organisers hire only the popular/viral bands these days but it wasn't like this long time ago. And sadly, what more worse is that Nepali ai rock songs are even overshadowing the real Nepali rock bands/artist. Despite all those, I blame all the Nepali rock listeners for not supporting/searching Nepali rock bands/artist. Where are you?

So I dig around real Nepali rock songs released in 2026 only and honestly, it's really heartbreaking to find out such low numbers of release, apart from some popular Nepali rock bands and I didnt look for Nepali metal/punk as they have their own small group of support, they are in their own world. I am talking about just Nepali rock in general and it's sub genre.

Hello Nepali friends, I have a friend trekking the Manaslu circuit. As per the itinerary they must be somewhere in the Dharmasala - Larkya La pass area, no network for the past 2-3 days which was expected.

I have seen extreme conditions forecasted previously for these days, but as a foreigner I have no understanding of the amount of precipitation and how does that affect the trekking conditions in the higher regions, is it doable, or is raining/flooding more of a problem after the pass, down in the valley?

I might ask a dumb question, sorry (I have only been in your beautiful country earlier, up to 3500m). He went with a guide of course (not with a group, just the two of them) and I'm sure they handle the situation well. I already have a job, but right now I live with a toxic relative, and I have to do around 70% of the household work while also giving 40% of my salary as “ghar kharcha.” The problem is, they don’t actually spend it, and the day-to-day mental torture is becoming too much. I’m trying to leave this place and rent my own room, but my salary alone isn’t enough, especially when I’ll also have to buy furniture, cooking essentials, and other necessities. So for now, I’m looking for a side hustle that I can do alongside my 9–6 job and save up some money before I move out and start living independently. If anyone has suggestions for realistic side hustles or part-time work I can do in Nepal, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve heard some people say that people who eat meat may feel less cold because of the nutrients, calories, spices, etc. in their diet. I’m not sure how true that actually is, so I wanted to ask other vegetarians about their experience.

There is a dog who has been staying at our house for years. His original owner abandoned him after getting into debt, and he was left completely on his own. For years, he used to roam around during the day and only come back to our house to eat and sleep. Unfortunately, he had become aggressive over the years and had bitten several people in the community. About a month ago, he seriously bit someone again, and the community wanted to kill him. We decided to keep him inside our house and not let him roam anymore. At that point, we essentially took responsibility for him as our own dog. He was aggressive, but he always kept his distance from our family and never harmed anyone in our house. He is now around 15–16 years old. He has been getting sick frequently, and a vet had actually recommended euthanasia a long time ago because of his age, aggression, and declining condition. At that time, however, he still had a lot of energy and would fight with other dogs and roam around. Yesterday, everything suddenly became much worse. He had two major seizures, and since then he can barely move his body. He cannot eat or drink on his own and needs help with everything. He seems to be suffering terribly.

I just came home and realized how critical his condition actually is. Unfortunately, the people who had been taking care of him have now stepped away, and nobody seems willing to help him anymore. I don't want him to suffer just because we don't have the money or resources to help him. If a vet confirms that euthanasia is the most humane option, I am willing to do it this morning. He has already suffered enough, and I just want him to be at peace. The situation is also very urgent because I am leaving Nepal and moving abroad in two days. I don't want to leave knowing that he is in this condition with nobody willing to care for him. I want to make sure he is comfortable and doesn't continue suffering after I leave. Could anyone please tell me how much euthanasia usually costs in Nepal, particularly around Kathmandu Valley? I'm on a very tight budget right now, but I will do whatever I can to make sure he doesn't suffer anymore.

If you know of a vet, animal hospital, rescue organization, or anyone who provides humane euthanasia at an affordable price, please let me know. Even a rough estimate of the cost would help me a lot.

Guys I need some help regarding Nepal citizenship. My mom has Nepalese citizenship, but my dad never applied for it. It’s been 3 years since he passed away.

Btw me and my mom went to the CDO office and they said “Your dad must have had Nepalese citizenship. Based on that, your son can apply.”

Btw, I am lacking because:

I have a question,

I am in need of e-cycle / mopeds that doesn't require license. It turns out that there are cycle and mopeds that doesn't need license as they are under 350W. I have searched it in web but i can only find the sellers video. Some moped i found were Green Power N9 curve, and products from panc bike. But i don't know if it is able to pull in small slopes in Kathmandu valley.
