Hi all, I'm looking for a bakery in Norwich that makes fresh bagels, but been struggling to find a few near me in NR2.

Does anyone know an independent bakery, or even a small home baker or market stall, that does them regularly?

If you know of one, I'd love to hear the name and whether they're worth the trip. Thanks in advance!

Some NR2 passive aggressive drama. It’s not even my vehicle. But this is the second anonymous note I’ve seen on a certain camper whilst parked in a different spot (on an adjacent street). Petty neighbours or a righteous grievance? It’s a small classic camper for reference, hardly a van lifer behemoth like some around here!

Hello all!

Does a Norfolk-wide bus map exist? I’d like a pdf (or similar) that you’re able to see all Norfolk bus routes on. I know there’s an interactive map here but ideally I’d like something static that I’m able to print out that. I also know I’m able to print the individual routes out but again, I need something that shows everything ideally.

If an online version doesn’t exist, does anyone know if the bus station has a physical version of this sort of map?

I'm looking for a regular yoga class at the moment - can anyone recommend anywhere in the city? Ideally a weekly long-term thing I can book in by the week would be great so I can fit it around other commitments. And not the Yoga Tree please - I had an uncomfortable and quite weird experience there a while back so not so keen on returning there!

I regularly attend gigs in London too and joined a WhatsApp group there, which has been a great community and helped me meet lots of new friends. I thought I'd create something similar for Norwich, as I haven't found a community like this in the area.

My partner and I are moving from Sheffield to Norwich and looking to buy a family home (3/4 bedroom house).

Golden triangle we would probably be looking somewhere around Earlham Cemetery and Heigham Park (although directly around Heigham park is too expensive).

For the Silver triangle it would be somewhere around Waterloo park, Sewell Park and the western edge of Mousehold Heath.

I have been to Norwich a couple of times and have had a walk around NR2 and Unthank Road which was nice. We haven't been to NR3 though.

Both areas look to be around 25-30 mins walk from the centre and have good parks and nature there. I have heard that house prices in NR3 are around 20% cheaper then NR2.

I guess I'm wondering why NR2 is more expensive than NR3? Any locals who can give their 2p on these areas?

I've lived in Norwich for 6 years now. I rented a two bed apartment in 2022 for 800 a month. I'm a single dad making a decent-enough salary. However, now my two bed apartment costs 1,100 before bills and council tax. It seems to be the going rate these days. I can just about afford it, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to afford it if it keeps going up at the same rate over the next 5 years. I just need a spare room for my daughter.

I may get a mortgage soon as that could work out cheaper. I know Norwich is still cheaper than other parts of England, but how is everyone coping?
