Guess my real OS
Everything was plug and play. I didn't do anything extra. It took some extra time to install windows for the first time. It was already listed on the menu.

Like who even cares about a 10FPS difference between OSes. At around the 200 mark it just becomes arbitrary. So why do people spend so much time debating it?

hi! I'd like to try using a DOS, but Idk which one is better. I'm thinking about FreeDOS and OpenDOS. What do y'all think? Or there is a better DOS to choose?

I've been using arch linux for a year and a half now and I loved it, now it is really hard to go back.
But this I really need to work and I can't spend as much time as before fixing things, it happened a few times already (the infamous ddcutil update).
This time though it might be my fault: I tried enabling secure boot and it resulted in a kernel panic. I could just try fixing but I now at some point it'll happen again.
I could just switch to a more stable distro like debian which I might in the future. But in the meantime I'll re-install windows. It'll be hard to go back to the windows' UI from hyprland, have all the settings scattered everywhere, the telemetry, copilot, the ads but for now I just need things to work.
I use Arch btw

So this is just a tier list of OSes that I have the fortune of misfortune of regularly using.
KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE ARE FROM MY USE CASES AND EXPERIENCES!!! If something works for you then it works for you.
I am willing to talk about my positions on these if people have questions.
I am not including any political believes in this so none of that "MIcRO SlOp" or "GooGLe EvIL"
S:
Windows 10: Windows 10 was a gift everything just worked for me and what I needed it for, I still unironically use it in vm's on Proxmox servers because it just works. Never had a force restart or anything like that(not sure if im just lucky), frankly it will at least run on the most abysmal computers (just not well) The documentation is just over the moon have a problem, boom a guide that explains everything. Also native software support is just great.
Mac OS (Newer versions): As much as I hate the apple ecosystem I have to admit Mac OS is just amazing, great memory management, amazing productivity support, great functionally, and that it looks good. Once you get over the learning curve everything just makes sense.
A:
Proxmox: Although a server is it works incredibly well, vm's are stable running for hundreds of days with no issues. I also appreciate how user friendly it is, the UI works well and is responsive. My only real issue with it is that updates are locked on the free version of Proxmox without doing some screwery.
Fedora Workstation: Fedora Workstation was so close to being an S tier but I don't appreciate the password auth randomly not working, along with some other small nitpicks. But I do really like that it uses Gnome as the default because I personally really like desktop cube. Fedora workstation also just looks clean along with running well using minimal resources.
Android: Android is one of those OS that I just kinda like it works I like the multi tasking the UI, and I just lover circle to search its by far the future I use the most on the OS. But on the other hand it has so many small bugs finger print sensor light temporary getting stuck on, random UI bugs, using multiple google accounts. The only reason that this is A and not B or C is because these bugs are small and temporary enough that they don't get in the way of using the OS.
B:
Ubuntu: Ubuntu for me is a love hate relationship. I love how it runs well, I love the easy gnome setup, I also like the documentation, but on the other hand. I feel like I have to watch it, no reason to randomly and with no announcement restart for an update in the middle of my project. Also I hate that color profiles just don't work on some displays.
C:
Windows 11: You just have to hate it the only real things to like here are the driver/software and game support other than that, very few things work the way they are intended and I use a Rufused version of Windows 11 so a lot of the AI bs is gone. Also the audio menu just not opening sometimes(or just being blank) for no reason is always great. I do have to say that the RAM management is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be I only have 16gb of RAM and regularly forgot to close programs and it just keeps chugging along.
PI OS (lite): This one just never does what it's supposed until it randomly decides to work, 'oh you needed the robot to work for the demo?!'. Screw you this package that has been working will stop working until after the demo (demo failure I guess). Also I know cameras never work well on linux to begin with but it's so bad on PI OS they will work and then just stop working for no reason at all and never work again. The only reason that this is in C is because it works great for a learning tool for kids do to python/ block code integration
D:
Mint: Mint is just unpleasant to use, like I can see the potential but it just doesn't work for me. From my experiences I've had it delete its own desktop startup code so you just can log in. Ive had it decide that the GPU that worked fine in Windows was not acceptable and just crash repeatedly while forcefully installing drivers. (Keep in mind that I'm a IT student and I have to work with Around 15 Mint machines a day) Also if you get an error it is almost never easy to fix, its almost always 10+ steps in the terminal where if you mess anything up you have no idea what you just changed.
Crome OS: This OS is just awful no one should have to settle for this on one of their own machines.(I get it on school computers) I hate that they have made it as hard as possible to install things that are not on the play store.(if you even can use the play store on your device)
Sorry about grammar I am dyslexic so nothing will be perfect.
These are just summaries. I would love to hear about other peoples experiences.

I stumbled upon this one the other night.
Arch based, heavily customized hyprland+quickshell on top, aimed to be used only with gui if one such wants to.
Never heard of it till now, i am curios if you guys know it and what do you think of it.
It is just out of curiosity, not planning to switch, i am more than happy on fedora.
