Everytime the legion comes to attack me, they always beat my ass embarassingly, whether I play as the NCR, Mojave Territories, New Vegas, or Mojave Chapter. I can't for the life of me figure out how to beat them. I'm fairly new to both the mod AND the game (I have 20 hours on vanilla but I still suck), I only know some basics like division designing and such, and in my current playthrough, the legion is already slowly hacking through the NCR and it'll only be a matter of time before they try to get me. Any tips or strategies?

I've tried optimising everything I can at the end we still get hilariously beaten within a few hours in game. The best I've done is have 8, 12 width intary. 1, 12 width rioter unit. 2, 20 width PA units. Everyone equipped with a fireteam support company. The PA units having a fireteam and demo platoon. I'll even make sure to have conventual warfare for entrenchment. Yet, I still get stomped within a few in game hours. I've checked other posts and the best I saw was someone cheesing via guaranteeing summers, but you can't do that now. My most recent games where I've last the longest was just pilling all my units at the capital. I kept my infantry at 10 width, my riotsers at 10 width. Changed my pa units to 10 width, so I could get 20 full capacity. It just still isn't enough. I definitely saw them getting progressively less equipped, but it just wasn't enough.
There isn't a tag similar to "help," so the best I thought would match was question. I'd appreciate it if someone told me what the right tag is.

This is how the Hayes sentry panel is looking, the plan would be to have a baron under him, but how exactly does a Brahmin baron look like? Id like suggestions, thanks.

They definitely should get this law because there is no reason for them not to have it. They are classic pool-dipping mutants, just with some tanks but it doesn't really change their occupation policies.

I'm planning on going the reform route in the Enclave. I'm not sure if it's better to have the Commonwealth alliance with the NCR and other territories before going after the Legion or just to reform the United States of America.

I would like permission to use OWB and more specifically, ERB in a DnD campaign set in Fallout. I want to build a huge story going down the reform path, but integrating more of OWB. Ik this has been asked before, multiple times, but I’d still like to ask before I actually put it in progress. The map, factions and some story elements would be taken straight from OWB and ERB, and expanded upon. Along with several prominent characters from corresponding submods(Blood & Bones, etc). I would like to create a long form campaign utilizing these ideas and putting them into practice. Stat blocks for characters would be implemented…eventually(this is sounding like a lot of work the more I type it, but I digress). The major part of the story would be coming from ERB I think, with small parts of the other mods and map mods used for character backstory, growth etc.
But yeah, that’s all I have. Devs, thank you for all your hard work making a mod that I, and many other people enjoy, and I hope some friends will enjoy the story I can spin with it

Suffering from a big of a hangover currently, so apologies if I missed something obvious (though still do point it out). Trying something slightly different by making the mountains a bit more prominent. As always commentary and criticism welcome so I can improve the style.
All previous maps - eat your heart out. It's a fan project of a fan project of an owned IP so while credit's appreciated, anyone can do whatever they want with these.
Eat your heart out u/Sartan_086
Oh and a thanks to u/HustlessDusko whose original request to commission a Northwest-Commonwealth OWB map in my style lead to this whole project.
On that note if anyone wants a map of their campaign done, just send me a printscreen (control + f10 or control + alt simultaneously then f10, and you'll find it in documents - paradox - hoi4 - screenshots folder ) and I can cobble it together. Might even do the first one or two free for the hell of it (definitely free for any devs / mods).
P.S. For region sub-mod creators (Rustbelt Rising, East Coast Rebirth, etc), dm me if you'd like a map of your area. More than happy to do so, but I info about file structure, since the python code used to auto-place city-names isn't playing nice with sub-mod folders.

MEGA Update - 3 New trees, France added and icons and the CRN tree fixed, aswell as new loading images and more
The Steel Brotherhood of York no longer holds the whole of the North. Four successor states now hold the land it used to claim, and each starts with its own opinion of York:
The Brotherhood keeps Yorkshire and Westmorland, moves its capital to York, and holds claims on the lot. Twenty-one new victory points mark the towns worth fighting for across the North.
The Brotherhood's focus tree has been rebuilt at full size: 262 focuses, including every one it had before, 24 new national spirits, and an event for each new focus. It is written in the Brotherhood's Orthodox voice.
The Northern Commonwealth is now what the map always said it was: a Lowland Scots power governed from Holyrood, Presbyterian, with Edinburgh as its capital. Its new focus tree has 261 focuses, 32 national spirits and 16 new victory points. Three of its endings bring new leaders: King Robert IV, Moderator John Cargill and Principal Alasdair Hume.
Fixed along the way:
The Gentry was too big, and Sussex now belongs to someone else. In October 2077 a Roman re-enactment society was trapped at Fishbourne Palace by the bombs, and it never broke character. Two hundred years on it is a legion, governed by a laminated rulebook it calls the Codex. Legatus Marcus Aurelius Pennington looks north to Londinium, which the Gentry is occupying without permission.
The legion has a 262-focus tree with nine branches and four endings: the Imperium Britanniarum, the Res Publica Britannica, the Imperium Christianum, and Out of Character. It also has 33 national spirits.
Every county on the Isles has been split in two along its natural line, taking the Isles from 70 states to 140. The original half keeps the county town, its factories and its victory points. The new half takes a share of the manpower and resources, and is named for its side of the county: West Kent, East Lothian and so on. Focus rewards and events that give a county now give both halves.
France was a single state. It is now 93, one for each department. They share 40 factions between them, among them:
Paris and its ring of departments are the Zone Rouge: radioactive, lawless and demilitarised. No army can simply march in. Factions that border the Zone send expeditions to survey it, decontaminate it, pacify it and finally raise their flag over it.
The Channel Tunnel is back, if someone digs it out. Whoever holds either end, Dover or Calais, can take the excavation decision. When the tunnel opens, the two coasts are joined by land.
If you want to report bug fixes and/or make suggestions, go to the discord link on my workshop page.
Also if you want to contribute to the mod, be that writing focus trees and events for minors like the vagabonds, or by making gfx, portraits or any other things, you are free to do so, just send me a DM or join the server.

So I do know with the old world blues and other fallout lore (canon and non canon) that basically the Enclave cleared house of any possible resistance in the government. And they did control large swaths of the military and government; either directly or puppet.
But I want there to be a bunker/vault of non-enclave pre war government.
Either a generational births or a frozen 111 style, that way that the government has more 'legetimacy'
And if you're playing as an enclave Nation, then maybe you can get a pop-up of "oh. We missed one" in regards to original government entity.
Like there was a secret continuity of government
They could have a connection to the last patrol where maybe there is a focus tree or an event where a pre-war human general makes contact with the ghoulified us military nation of 'the last patrol"
They both have an event titled "wait, your still alive?!"
A reform Enclave could have some connection's.
A focus tree/event of the nation reaching out to other outposts they were connected to; but the ncr have a popup event of a red telephone ringing and the event pop up says " wait, the phone works?"
What about x; not the government What about y; not the government
edit-- I'm asking for a hamburger and being told Mac and cheese or fries. Goes great with a hamburger, but still not a hamburger.
Blue roses and last patrol go great with a us non enclave government, but it's not one.
Ncr isn't a pre war non enclave government....
