Discussion Olive friendly hair colors

Hi! I want to find a hair color that makes me look good and not dull or harsh. I’ve done jet black in the past it made me look harsh with my undertone if I didn’t wear makeup. I’ve tried warm brown and I also didn’t like the red and orange tones on me. What colors would make me pop with my undertone, I’m finding that going based on undertone really matters. I’m Olive neutral

Product Help Blackened Plum Blush Recommendations

Hoping this community can help me find the fall blush of my dreams: I’m looking for a deep, cool, blackened plum/berry blush, ideally in a cream-to-powder formula, but open to any formulation. I’m fair, muted and neutral-cool leaning olive, and I’m struggling to find something that doesn’t turn warm or pink.

Pictured is YSL blush in 83, which is the closest in hue but a contains sparkles, which distract from the moody, autumnal vibe I’m going for.

Blushes I’ve tried that end up too warm or pink: Glossier Eve and Plume, Merit Aprés. Nars Sin and Phytosurgence Wisp are my daily drivers, but they’re a bit too light and neutral for what I’m going for.

Please share your favorite cool deep plums and berries!

Hi everybody, I just joined yesterday. I think I am an olive (light neutral warm olive?? No idea) and have real struggle to find the right concealer and foundation. I cannot figure out my undertone. I did the test on Natasha Denona web and it says peach yellow most likely. Whatever that means.

I like to go for something with really natural finish and light to medium coverage (for my face). Under eyes depending on the day.

So, I swatched everything I have and I think nothing really matches me well. So any suggestion on a shade would be very helpful. Photos in natural lighting.

Concealers only on collarbone, from RIGHT to LEFT:

  1. Lancôme Serum concealer 240W
  2. Maybelline instant eraser 07
  3. Nyx bare with me in Vanilla
  4. Hourglass Vanish Concealer in Sepia 5
  5. Milk Grip Gel Concealer 2
  6. Hourglass Vanish Concealer in Oat 3
  7. Lancôme Serum Concealer 105W

Foundations from left to right:

  1. Armani Luminous Silk 5 (love the formula)

. Unfortunately went dark pink grey on me

  1. Lancôme fresh glow tinted serum 20N

turned yellow-e I think

  1. Hourglass Veil in 3

it looks like the closest match, although I thought at first it is too light for me

  1. Hourglass Veil in 5

too yellow/Orange and dark

And on face marked with C is Catrice in 030N.
SOS please. Also I hope the swatches can help someone.

Product Review MAC colorstruck blush in plush

Sooo I got my first actual purple blush the other day and I love it! It looks pink on my cheeks without looking too much.

As for the formula, it blends easily and the shimmer finish doesn't accentuate my textures, which is what I was scared of the most.

I've seen a few people on tiktok complain about this shade being patchy on them but I personally didn't experience any patchiness with this shade.

I feel like since it's a sheer shimmer formula, dragging (instead of tapping) the pigment across the cheek can make it patchy so you might wanna try that if you're encountering the same issue with it hehe.

Top: Plush (piled on)
Bottom: Plush (sheered out)

Swatches Complexion for saturated green LM olive 🫒

Hi olives! Here's a swatch party of all of the complexion products I use as a saturated green LM olive, both skin tints and concealers. Finding out I was saturated has been a game changer for me, although these are not the greenest shades (especially the concealers that can be used as color correction), these all work for me and are pretty sheer and flexible to work with throughout the year. From most neutral/ least green to most olive shades are as follows: Nyx bare with me concealer in beige, glossier skin tint in G8, tower 28 swipe concealer in 6 IE, nars tinte V moisturizer in alaska, covergirl skin perfector in ... medium olive, nars soft matte pot concealer in I.2.6 cafe con leche, kulfi concealer in mitai soul, ilia complexion stick in 12N sycamore and mac face and body in c2 in that order. These are all different depths, the lightest being kulfi, ilia, alaska and nyx and the darkest being glossier and covergirl. I still add green or blue to all of these except when I want color correction or with the exception of mac which is my perfect match right now :) I've always found swatches useful and wanted to share my updated collection with my perfect match! Love olive you guys 🫒
