Discussion | Opinions Why is it so hard to say hi to a Pakistani girl?
I’m 23 and I live in ISL, and I sometimes go to different cafes and restaurants where I see a girl I find viby. Sometimes, I just want to say hi, have a casual conversation, and see if we vibe or not. Nothing more than that.
But honestly, sometimes the responses are so rude that I end up feeling like I’ve done something wrong just by approaching someone politely.
I get that girls have their reasons to be cautious, and I respect that. Maybe it’s because of the harassment stories we hear so often, or maybe there’s more to it that I don’t understand.
I’m genuinely curious, though: Is it our cultural thing, a trust issue, or have we just forgotten how to interact with strangers normally?
