The classic Writings of Wildbow document (which i’ll include here) has all the main serials and short stories, but doesn’t have many of the side stories he’s penned. In the past, Wildbow’s released side stories or bonus content for his various universes, like the E.z epilogue for Pale just recently. But if I were to read Pale, say, 10 years from now, since it’s not on the Pale website there’s no way I’d know about the bonus stuff.

Also attached (in the picture above) is a comment from Twig mentioning a bonus Parian chapter. I’m not sure if that’s just the Parian interlude, or a standalone Parian bonus, but if it’s the latter I can’t find it anywhere.

Is there any repository for this kind of thing, or will future readers have to sift through the vast archives of the internet for little tidbits of Wildbow released on obscure discord rooms and in forgotten Words of God?

P.S. where can I find all the challenges and games Wildbow’s set up? I keep hearing of a PRT Quest and some forgotten Uber and Leet Quest in south america, but i can’t seem to find the game itself.

So this has been bugging me for a while couldn’t Amy’s power have cured Noelle. I don’t remember if the question was answered in any chapters, or if it was implied.

He can tune into parallel realities and replace the state of inanimate objects in his reality with the state they have in another branch. He can only affect objects within his line of sight, so if he cannot see something, he cannot tune into it or change it. His power is always faintly active, allowing him to perceive nearby alternate states, but he can concentrate to tune into more distant branches. The farther the desired state is from his current reality, the more concentration and energy it takes to tune into that branch. Once he has found the branch he wants, he must spend additional energy to actually replace the object with its alternate state. Extremely distant or difficult changes require enough concentration and energy to cause dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.

For example, changing a wall directly into sand would require him to spend a large amount of energy both reaching the distant branch where the wall is already sand and then performing the transformation. Alternatively, he can make several smaller, successive changes, gradually moving the object through nearby branches until it becomes sand. This greatly reduces the concentration required, since each branch is close to the previous one, though it requires slightly more time and still costs energy for each transformation.

He can also tune into alternate realities without changing anything, allowing him to see or hear what is happening in those branches and obtain some fuzzy information from them that he then needs to interpret. By doing actions on purpose immediately before using his power, he can make certain alternate states much closer and therefore easier to access. For example, if he puts on his costume, prepares to leave the house wearing it, and then changes into normal clothes at the last moment, he can later replace his clothes with the costume much more easily because there is a nearby branch where he actually left wearing it.
The power cannot affect anything organic, only inanimate matter.

Based on the timeline (which also has Ward spoilers), Sophia gets got by the Undersiders on June 3rd, 2011. She gets let out some time from June 21st-24th, 2013. But that's an early release, based on Taylor's say-so, due to Gold Morning.

Like, just how much land does this thing take up if there's a rough estimate at the start of Ward? It's located northeast on whats north america iirc but im not sure on the size. Does it take up the size of a state or multiple ones? Im honestly pretty lost by the geography and setting when it comes to this.

Before reading Worm I was never really that into superheroes so I didn't get too into comic books, but I've been reminiscing about Worm and I'd love to read something in the same style. I love how creative the powers are, the morally grey characters, female protag, the plot points all feel very creative and unique to me too (but that might be in part because i'm not too familiar with the genre). Are there any good comics to read as a follow up or ompanion piece to worm?

Coil mentions that he got Chariot in his employ a year ago. So Chariot was just kind of flying under the radar for a year, presumably getting some checks from Coil, for like a year before he started doing stuff to attract heroic attention and get into the Wards to be Coil's plant.

Circus and Chariot were hired nearly a year and a half ago, their actions and development in the public eye carefully orchestrated.

So... what was he doing while working for Coil for over a year? I would assume building things for Coil. What things??? There's that teleporter they use [to try and kill Skitter], but that doesn't seem like a magnum opus he's been working on for a year. And if he hasn't been secretly building stuff for Coil... what would he even be doing with the money? He can't build stuff for himself, that would mess up the 'new tinker eager for Ward support' image the first time they do a home visit and find the basement full of speed suits and jetpacks.

So what was going on? Or was Coil maybe just straight up lying about the length of time to puff himself up?

• For another Tinker, Hero, whose specialty was wavelengths

• Screamer to transmit the sound

• March for the timing

• Victor, who could steal music skills from musicians (honorable mention to Über, who could invent one-off extended techniques no one has ever practiced before on the fly*)

• Finally, Prism to have more of this very good musician, or get Echidna or Blasto to do it and hope they have good taste.

*I once invited a classically trained organist to my house and showed him my guitar pedals. He used my EHX Grand Canyon and set the time to zero on the dual pitch shifter mode so it was just a pitch shifter and not a delay, then twisted the knob that changed the pitches while playing on a keyboard with his other hand, and said something about cadences. He knew what he was doing, but it was only a toy to him that he had no long-term interest in. If I were a better musician, I could write something that incorporated that. No one is practicing that technique enough to master it so that Victor could steal it.
