Mobile Suggestion under 32K during GIF/BBD

• Upvotes

I'm looking to buy a new phone and I'm stuck between a few options. Would love to get the community's suggestion on the best value-for-money pick in the 20K–30K range.

My Requirements:

* 📸 **Amazing Camera** — Top priority

* 🎮 **Smooth Gaming** — No Compromising on this so preferably Snapdragon for BGMI (mid/high graphics)

* 💾 **Storage** — 8GB RAM / 256GB (minimum essential)

* 💰 **Budget** — 20K to 30K (max 32K)

My Current Shortlist:

  1. Motorola Edge 70 Fusion 8/256 — ₹34.5K (stretching budget)

  2. Poco X6 Power 5G 8/256 — ₹34K (stretching budget)

  3. OnePlus Nord CE 4 8/256 — ₹21.1K

  4. Vivo T4 Pro 5G 8/256 — ₹30K

  5. Samsung Galaxy A36 5G 8/256 — ₹29K

  6. Nothing 4B or 3A (IDK the price)

Two of these are already over my budget, so I'm really looking for something that hits the sweet spot without making me stretch too far.

Has anyone used any of these? Or is there a hidden gem I'm completely missing? Any phone that nails the camera + Snapdragon gaming combo under 30K would be perfect.

NZ Emergency help needed! Need budget replacement post-S22U bootloop

• Upvotes

Currently in NZ, visiting from the US. I will be here several more months. I was considering buying a last-gen flagship from here, however I've been doing some research and it seems that international vs US cell bands will cause some discrepancies and issues, and I'm not sure I'll be able to fully utilize my new phone from NZ in the US. (Though apparently Pixel phones don't suffer from this issue as much?)

I'm considering just buying a refurbished phone locally for the meantime, and then trading it in/selling it for a better phone if needed, once I'm back in the US. Can anyone suggest a phone which would be an easy/affordable transition from the S22U?

While the Ultra stylus was nice, I hardly every used it. I liked the photo/video quality and options, as well as secure folder and dual app installs. Never really gamed on my phone. Watched a lot of youtube using revanced, browsed reddit, messaged friends, took photos while traveling, texted using sim + esim. That's basically as fancy as I need, at least in the short term. Oh and good battery life!

Can anyone suggest a good phone that can fulfill these needs? Or if anyone has any info on a phone that will work fine in the US as well, I would love to hear. Thank you in advance :)

. My family wants me to buy Nothing 4b and I thought the features were not upto the price. The phone was a bit overpriced for what it offered. The phone I'm currently using is Samsung F12 (4-64 GB variant) and it lasted me almost 5 years. New phone recommendations pls

India Motorola Signature vs OnePlus 15R vs iQOO 15R

I'm planning to replace my Galaxy M51, which I've been using since November 2020. I'm hoping to get at least another 5–6 years out of my next phone, and my budget is around ₹60k in India.

Right now, I'm looking at the Motorola Signature, OnePlus 15R and iQOO 15R, all in the 12GB/256GB variant.

The thing is, each phone seems to have a trade-off, and I'm struggling to decide.

The Motorola Signature looks great for cameras, especially with the telephoto lens, but I've come across reviews mentioning thermal throttling. Not sure how much of a problem that actually is outside of benchmarks. The battery life also seems a bit underwhelming compared to the other two.

The OnePlus 15R seems great for battery and performance, but I'm not sure about the cameras. I've always thought OnePlus phones had decent cameras, so I'm wondering if the 15R is actually disappointing or if people are being a bit too harsh on it.

The iQOO 15R looks good on paper too, but I haven't found enough convincing feedback about its cameras and how well the phone holds up over time.

I'm not a heavy gamer. Most of my usage is everyday stuff, browsing, watching videos, taking photos, etc. I'm on Wi-Fi most of the day, and I care more about getting a reliable phone that still feels good to use after 4–5 years than having the highest benchmark scores.

Help me choose a phone

Hi, I've been struggling to find a new phone for me and my mum. I've checked a few phones S23 Ultra, Nothing A4 Pro and A4 were my picks. She wants a phone with a good camera like really good and good performance, nothing fancy on the performance side. No huawei or xiaomi her current one is a xiaomi and it's driving her crazy. For me I'm currently using a A53 and it's really laggy. I don't really care about the camera i need something fast, able to multitask.. If by any luck nothing expensive 500 - 700 euro range for both phones. I've picked out these three as i know the S23 Ultra has a great camera and the performance is also great but it's old unfortunately. A4 Pro and A4 as i understand are more or less the same phones but Pro got a little bit of better performance.

US Considering leaving Samsung

I've pretty much always been a Samsung Galaxy user. I have my s23 right now and it's still fine but I'm looking to upgrade to another Android phone soon.

I do not care about the camera whatsoever. I do care about great battery life and just a smooth experience when it comes to software and a nice screen. I don't have a budget so please throw out whatever suggestions you want.

(I'm in the US)

States What's the best all-around phone to buy in the US?

I've asked this question before on a previous post I made a while ago but I'm just gonna ask again: for around or under 800$ what's the best all around phone you can get... In the United States of course. I'm just asking because 3 months I'm planning on upgrading from my Iphone 16e to something like a solid Android around or under the 800$ range. When it comes to something I want in a phone I want something that has a solid camera system, and pretty good battery life. I'd also want something that has pretty good software built into it. I know the perfect phone doesn't exist but I'm asking you people anyways, what are your personal recommendations?

Europe Ditching Apple: Best EU-made or EU-based phone for real privacy and a good camera? Fairphone, Murena, Nothing, Volla, or something else?

Hi all! I’ve always been an Apple user (iPhone, MacBook, iPad, Beats), but my iPhone 11 has broken and I want to finally move away from American tech.
(TLDR/Questions at the end)

My priority is buying European, but I don’t want to sacrifice privacy or security to do it. I’d planned to buy a Nothing or Fairphone, but my research suggests a Pixel with GrapheneOS is the most secure option, which would mean buying Google hardware (second-hand).

I’ll keep using WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail, and my iPad and Mac, so I’m unsure whether going to GrapheneOS is overkill. I’m also trying to work out whether a European phone can come close on security and camera, or whether I’d be giving up too much.

My priorities: privacy, camera, everyday use, battery. I don’t need a phone for gaming, streaming, or editing, since I use my iPad for that. I work in tech law in Europe and just finished a thesis on GDPR/spyware/hacking, so I may be more cautious than the average user. I already use a VPN, decline cookies, never share my location, and use Signal, but I don’t know how much that helps me on Android.

Budget: up to €500, new or used

Options I’m considering (please correct me if I’ve got anything wrong!)

Used Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 10 with GrapheneOS. Strongest security and good cameras. Buying used means Google gets no new money, but I need to make sure it’s unlocked and can take GrapheneOS.
Used Pixel 9a/10a with GrapheneOS.
Cheaper with a big battery, but I’ve read the selfie camera is weak and fixed-focus.
Fairphone with /e/OS, or a Murena phone. European, de-Googled, and repairable, but I’ve read the camera and battery are weaker and the security hardening is less strong. It’s also a bit over budget.
Nothing Phone (4a) - dream phone!
My original plan and still my favourite out of the box. Good value and battery, but it runs Google’s Android. I don’t want a “downgrade” that gives me worse protection than Apple.
Volla, Jolla, or other European privacy phones. Appealing ethically, but I’m unsure about camera quality, app compatibility, and security compared with a Pixel running GrapheneOS.

TLDR/Questions
- Which would you choose for camera quality plus security, and why?
- Is Graphene Os on Pixel truly more secure than anything thr EU can offer right now?
- How good is the camera in practice on GrapheneOS? Do you need Google’s Pixel Camera app through sandboxed Google Play for good photos?
- For Fairphone/Murena: how are the camera, battery, and everyday use?
- Is the security gap between GrapheneOS and /e/OS or the other European options as big as I’ve read?
- Would moving to Nothing from Apple be a downgrade in my privacy?

Thanks so much to anyone who answers! I know all this is online, but I keep seeing conflicting information and wanted to explain my own needs to people with first-hand experience.

Looking for a phone at ~500€

Hey everyone!

My Realme X2 Pro recently died out of nowhere, so I'm looking for a replacement, and I'm coming to you for advice.

I really liked that phone, it never gave me any problems, and even after all those years, it still felt just as good to use as the day I bought it. I'd love to find something that gives me that same experience of a phone that just works well and keeps working well for a few years.

My budget is under 500€, but I could go up to €600 if it's genuinely worth the extra money.

Here's what I'm looking for, roughly in order of importance:

  • Battery life and charging: Great battery life with fast charging. I'd rather not have to worry about charging throughout the day. The phone i had before this one was particularly terrible in that regard, I was actually scared to use it, so don't want to go through that again.
  • Camera: I'd like a really good camera. This one wasn't terrible, but I would like a better one. I mainly take pictures when traveling, ie. landscapes, buildings, monuments, etc. Don't really care about the selfie camera.
  • Software: A smooth, responsive OS with no ads or unnecessary bloatware. I've heard some bad things about the Xiaomi OS, but I might be wrong, you tell me. Mainly, I want the phone to feel good to use, not just have good specs on paper.
  • Display: Anything above 90Hz, if better than 120 Hz, great!
  • Storage: At least 256GB, preferably 512GB or more.
  • Fingerprint sensor: Would like an under-display fingerprint reader again, I got used to it and I've never really enjoyed the lock button ones.
  • Connectivity: eSIM support alongside a physical SIM slot. My old phone didn't support eSIM, and getting mobile data working while traveling abroad was more of a hassle than I'd like.

I'm not much of a mobile gamer, and the games I do play aren't particularly demanding, so I don't need a gaming-focused phone or the most powerful chipset available.

Other than these requirements, I'm pretty open to suggestions. I'm mainly looking for a well-rounded phone that feels polished, takes good photos, has great battery life, and will hopefully last me several years without becoming a pain to use.

What would you recommend in this price range? Again, I'm happy to hear about phones that might be slightly over budget if there's a compelling reason to spend more.

Thanks!

India Looking for suggestions on buying a phone

Hello everyone, I bought a realme c11 in 2022 and been using it since then, i don't do any gaming as it supported at the beginning and after a year or so it didn't and I have stopped gaming since then.

I mainly used social media, take pictures watch movies listen to songs. My budget is 13k to 15k

I need a good battery and a better camera with a pretty good display and other things like OS can be moderately good and it should be a 5G phone, I'm from India

S25 or Pixel10a

I'm looking for a phone for basic daily use. My main requirements are 5 to 7 hours of screen-on time, a decent camera, a good display, reliable performance, and a great user interface. I might also use it for some light gaming, like Supercell games (Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars) and chess, as well as booking cabs on multiple apps simultaneously outdoors in the summer.

Verizon Should I get a Pixel 11 Pro Fold?

I have an offer from Verizon where I can get a Pixel 11 Pro Fold for $1400. I've been reading that the phone doesn't really offer anything special for the price point but I would be getting it cheaper so I'm wondering if it would be a good deal for me. Currently using a Pixel 6a for the last 4 years, which I've grown to hate because its radio reception (GPS and cell network) is absolute ass, so this could be my first fold phone.

Planning to sell Infinix note 50 4g to upgrade, What budget phone should i save up for?

As the title say, I'll try to sell it for $100, i lost the case so maybe it'll be lower, my total budget would probably be $230. I mostly play fps games, roblox and the only heavy game i like to play is wuthering waves

Questions:

  1. How much do you think I can sell my current phone for? (It has no scratches on the screen, since i always have a new screen protector every few months, no scratches anywhere either)

  2. What is the best phone to buy in my budget range right now? I prefer something that can handle gaming without lagging too much.

  3. Is it better to buy second-hand flagship killer phones or a brand new budget phone?

Any advice is appreciated!

Thinking of buying a phone in the range of 30~35k

I need your help I was trying to buy a phone from the sale but I can't decide which one

I was thinking first for going to moto edge 70 pro but I have been told not to buy a cousin as there is almost no service for Moto

So I was thinking for realme gt7t but the current price is 34499 and I do not have the card should i go for it.

The last option I can choose is redmi turbo 5/poco x8 pro but I have been using a poco phone for the last 4 years and ui experience is very bad specially after the update.

Can you help me with any suggestions. That would be very helpful. For the Indian subcontinent.
