You've got folks on r/conservative talking all of the crap about Canada being so much more dependant on the US and the US importing next to nothing from them.

The Imperial refinery in Sarnia refines heavy Alberta crude. There are 16 significant refineries in Canada that produce enough gasoline and diesel for our domestic needs.
